I think this is a good interpretation of the theme, however I think that the lack of UI and information given to the player is really holding it back. I was never quite sure what to do in the engine room and my buttons/clicks didn't seem to have any effect! I think with a bit more UI it would make it a lot easier for player!
Really interesting take on the theme! I've love for this to be built upon and have to be able to also steer the ship. You might be able to merge the micromanaging of FTL into this and it could be a hit!
Great job!
nice game, very interesting

I like the concept, but felt there was no reason to look up from the engine room. Maybe on the boat view there could be a simple mechanic to get water out of the boat that may have come in during your repairs. Also I thought it was clear what to press to fix the engine, to the point where it was no real challenge to find out what was wrong. Still, not bad for 14 hours of development!

@ioan-pop Thanks for the feed back. First release was very buggy and sometimes clicks wouldn't register. I have fixed this and added red highlights on anything broken.
@erikvdb True. Even when play testing it I never left the engine room. The boat was originally going to be drive-able and you had to go around objects but I never got around to it. Thanks for the feedback.
In old version I win. I think engine never damaged in it.
Final doesn't work. Безымянный.png
Nice idea, an extra day of work would really have brought everything together I think.

@smirnov48 Thank you! No idea how that happened since I play tested before uploading. Fixed
@snip-man Wow! Final version more interesting! But want all time seet in engine and fix it. Ships view looks unuseless. ) Good game) I fix and win ^)

Great effort for a 14 hour jam.

Impressive how much you managed to do during that short period of time. Felt like an actual game. The gameplay was a bit lacking at times though, it was kinda boring just driving the boat. The motor looked really cool!
Very simple but nice! Indeed, the gameplay could be improved, but I really liked the concept. Although you can just look at the engine, it was nice to see the land getting closer as you advance.
Sometimes it's not clear what's wrong, only when I played again I noticed some parts were the problem (because in the first run I was appreciating the landscape ;D). Also, it's hard to see UI text when looking at the engine.

The game idea is interesting, but it would have been fun if the repairs was small puzzles. The graphics is okay, but it could have been better. The game needs some music, and perhaps some more sound effects. Overall is this an okay little jam game.
I liked the game concept, and for completing it in 14 hours, I can totally commend you.
I think there's a lot of room for improvement, and if you have time, I think it would be worth going in and polishing it more and adding to it to up the challenge a bit.
I like the concept though.
