My first round I'm fairly confident was bugged -- I ran around the whole town but only found 1 cake (I needed two) to satisfy the princess. I don't fully understand how it relates to the theme either?
On the other hand, the game controlled well and the graphics and sound were very nice. Thanks for the game!

@kosmo thanks for playing and appreciate the feedback! The theme is pretty much in the story if you've read the dialogues. I guess it would've made more sense to feed the princess to keep her alive instead.
Nice graphics and game. Enjoyed playing it. However, on one of the rounds my player went outside of the play zone and I could not make him go back in. It kind of got stuck. Next round I was careful and it worked.

The music worked really well with the theme! I also loved the art work and the game play. I liked the speed that the player moves at, often with these kind of games they move too slow and it can be a little annoying when the time is against you!
It was a good game. I liked how it kept me wanting to improve round after round it had good music and over all was a fun experience.

Good stuff. Music is matching and nice. I liked the title screen layout. The gradient color is not my cup of tea. Recommendation: Do not put the hungry princes as backround in itch in repeated pattern. The conversation is good. The continue button could be extended to any keys. The mouse as drop action is strange. Space would be better instead of it as the game do not use the mouse except in the menu and conversation. It would be nice to remove the delivered item from the list. Good job.

Nice Graphics and Music. I had my fair share of fun withe the Game as well, even though i couldn“t get past Level two. Good Job.
it's nice, kinda frustrating that there's not much that can be done about the dudes trying to stop you, but the pacing is good would also be nice to know what item you've already dropped off - two isn't a lot to remember, but can be easy to forget while in a hurry!

@james-kusardi glad you enjoyed it! The trick is to use the buildings to block them! Once you get out of range they will stop chasing you. Also try not to get to close as they will slow you down. And thanks for the feedback! Some of the features got dropped due to the time constraint unfortunately.

I like the fast run speed to get around. Charming village as well
Nice art direction and sound design, gameplay was a little on the clunky side, the random placement of the items, the size of the map, and the time limit all work against you in a way that feels very unfair. Perhaps a better way to have done this is to have fixed locations for each food type so you can learn where everything is and use that to optimise your route through the town. Interesting idea, and not bad for a weekend.
I really like the game you have here. I wish the time limits were a little extended on the levels. Especially since the objects spawn at random locations. I do think that picking up items and depositing items should use the same button rather than two separate ones. Plays very well on the web version nevertheless. Very nice art as well. Great Job!!

The background music was pretty good! Overall, I liked the execution of this project, it ended being a nice bit of fun. It has a few quirks like sometimes not generating the princess' needs, and the villagers locking you from moving when near corners, that takes out the fun a bit.
funny little game; had struggles with the controls at first. A brief description would have been great.
Sprites are really good, but I notice you opted-out, did you make them or use another source? UI and controls could use some tweaking, the "start" button blends in with the titles screen, the "how to play" button is practically hidden. The "continue" button for dialogue seems unnecessary (why not just continue with any click or button press) and I also didn't get why you needed different buttons to pick up food and drop it in her box. Those minor issues aside, the gameplay was fun. I love how the interpretation of the theme wasn't so direct, it makes it humorous.

Cute game! I think it would be good to make the controls more consistent by scrapping the mouse, and make dropping an item another key, or even the same key as picking up. Unfortunately I got softlocked in level 4 by the villagers in the right side where there's a house with a tiny fence and no gap between it and the right side of the screen. softlock.PNG Otherwise, I think you guys did a great job! :cake:

Great feedback @shaolin-dave! We only created the character sprites! The food and map sprites were free from itch.io. Kudos to them! We fixed the pickup/drop food buttons in the latest fix. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing @abyss! Glad that you liked it. We fixed the controls in the latest release. Level 4 was intentionally made difficult (but definitely not impossible!) and so was that corner!
sound track and art work is pretty cool. All the recommendations are covered. Couldn't go beyond level 2. keep it up.

Main idea is really fun and serves the theme, the graphics are cute. Are really people starving if they let food on the ground all around the town? xD
The game is a bit frustrating when we fail, but I don't know how you improve that.

Music fit perfectly and the art was really great! Had a fun time playing your game. At one point I couldn't find the last food I needed and it was hiding behind the food stand being sneaky.

Awesome graphics and fun mood! I suggest not using a fully gothic style font for long text in the UI. It's all good for titles and key information, but perhaps find another font that's more readable for the dialogue text. Other than that, great game overall!
Fun little game! Got quite stressful in later levels but fun nonetheless!
