LD46 — Keep it alive

Zany Zoo by TBaudon 2020-04-21T10:08:38Z

Nicely executed idea, great stability for a jam game. Well balanced challenge and a neat artstyle too. Just wish there was some feeling of progression like getting coins from customers or something. Maintaining the happiness of the animals is not enough for me hahaha

Garden Menace by Mekuri 2020-04-21T07:31:01Z

the mouse control could be more flexible. liked the overall concept.

Nekotchi by Devastus 2020-04-21T10:38:31Z

Surprisingly fun. Good art. Just wish there was more features. Also music would add a lot.

Feed King or Die Starving by jefvel 2020-04-21T10:18:02Z

One of the few games where the humour rating actually applies

Really good fun and love the overall design. Interesting control scheme, but doesn't feel very polished/doesn't seem to have much of a skill ceiling

A few more features and work on the base controls and I could see myself playing this for ages. Especially on mobile

Keep the light alive by AltTabber 2020-04-21T06:37:18Z

fun few minutes

some notes: - light effect was good. decent suspense - could have used scarier visuals/audio when you lose - cool art - with a maze game smoother collisions would really help. annoying that walking diagonally into a wall doesnt let you slide

Tiny Fragments by Daniel Moreno 2020-04-21T06:24:18Z

Really cool mechanic, well done in just 48 hrs!

Picturesque by JLV 2020-04-21T06:52:47Z

surprisingly satisfying to restore the paintings. bit of a textfest but otherwise cool. original setting and nice interpretation of theme

ECHOSTATION by paperjack 2020-04-21T10:26:31Z

Great atmosphere. Fun to see the old school set camera and tank control scheme. Didn't run great on my computer unfortunately, otherwise I would have played for a lot longer.

Keep What Alive by Valeth2124 2020-04-21T07:21:46Z

good bit of fun. really disappointed that it wasn't finished/the stability wasn't there cause I was really enjoying the atmosphere.

also this world is hella depressing. not only did my wife and children starve, but they were murdered the very next day :(

good fun stuff, looking forward to seeing a finished game if it happens

Feed The Flame(s) by Jeremia 2020-04-21T09:52:19Z

Funny premise. Something hilarious about the same fire sprite just wreaking havoc over the whole world

Straying Alive by tkers 2020-04-22T00:05:53Z

Simple but satisfying. Would be cool to see more features, especially something that lets the player multitask. I just controlled one green ball the whole time and let the others roam around but would be nice if there were a reason to switch which one you're using.

Remember, Apollo by AdamCYounis 2020-04-21T10:56:08Z

Interesting take on a classic control scheme. I like the non-linearity.

Examine, Prescribe, Heal! by Antraxxx 2020-04-21T10:48:29Z

Nice idea, holds well with the theme. Decent enough UI, esp the patient information. The pacing left something to desire though. Going into day 1 there was a lot of dead air that I couldn't get by just from reading the patient descriptions. Overall pretty neat, would like to see more with busier gameplay.

Royal Decree by Furqaan 2020-04-21T07:37:57Z

I like the fast run speed to get around. Charming village as well

FACE LOVE! by Gabe Lane 2020-04-22T00:39:53Z

what the hell this game needs more love.

found this via the tutorial page for webgl resizing. really fun and full of character

faces.jpg

I don't think it needs much else really. perfect for a jam entry. maybe some ability to resize but I liked how things like the one way rotation and the head bobbing gave the faces a natural feel as well as a small amount of skill added to placing things

awesome

I really like the idea of predicting where the enemies go next! Thanks Doc :) And yeah I actually agree about the generation. Had we had more time (or I been more familiar with Unity), we would have adapted the generation to be more authored for sure
