LOL, this sort of game is right up my alley. Love it.

LOL, this sort of game is right up my alley. Love it.
Really quite addicting, found myself shouting at the useless guards.
Really fun game. I liked the sound design and the feel of attacking the thieves. Something that would be nice is an indicator telling you where you will land.
I tried playing three times! Thank you or the ability to play on web without downloading! It was fun!
Really addictive gameplay, love it. The mechanics is simple yet good, the artstyle works in its favor of the game because of the genre and the feel the game was aiming for.
One of the few games where the humour rating actually applies
Really good fun and love the overall design. Interesting control scheme, but doesn't feel very polished/doesn't seem to have much of a skill ceiling
A few more features and work on the base controls and I could see myself playing this for ages. Especially on mobile
What a wacky game I love lol, TBH I needed like couple of turn to know the hell is going on but once the game started it's nice and the ability to latch to you is great.
I love the king death animation, very funny ! I like the graphics, it's a cool game, well done ! Too bad the dash don't work to attack behind ennemies.
Fun and addictive, a recipe for a good Android game, I see potential
The art style is perfect for a game like this, everything is perfect. This is a really good entry to the jam, well done!
Loved the mood ! great work
Really fun game, the controls are simple (drag & tap) but give lots of options for the gameplay. At first it wasn't clear how I could get more food, or how do I interact with the chickens. I liked that you can do nice combos if you dash in the middle of a crowd, and bounce against many enemies. I also liked the idea that if an enemy grabs to you, you're essentially bringing them closer to the king, so you better avoid that! The overall graphics are charming and give a nice feeling together. Nice game!
My god the animations are so funny ! I had some troubles aiming precisely the ball, maybe you can have some kind of trajectory preview on the screen ?
Lmao, funny game, fun but i need to get used to the controls
Love it! The artwork, sounds and gameplay all fit nicely together in a ridiculous whole. Missing an attack can be a little frustrating because you don't know the exact range and recharge time. Overall very fun; here's more strategy to it than it lets on.
Simple, yet fun. I would've wished for a landing indicator
well :,)
This game is weird but enjoyable. I have no idea how to play and what I need to do and what I can do and what is going on on the screen but I had some fun :)
@joewolf thanks for playing! Yeah, I noticed the guards don't contribute in a clear way. I really want to increase the attack rate of them.
Oh no my King! What a gruesome way to go. Loved it, cool design and innovative concept, I do have a soft spot for 2d sprites in a 3d world, also very funny visuals. I think a target where the chef will land would have helped though. Had a lot of fun anyway!
Really dig the visual style on this one, crude yet fantastically coherent. It would be nice if there was an indicator of how much force the player gets thrown by the slingshot as well as a visual range in front of the player to make it more clear whether I can kick an enemy or not. Otherwise, I had a lot of fun with this game. The one-tap gameplay is very satisfying!
Took me a bit to get how it works. Other than that, very fun and addicting game. Would benefit from some audio though.
@wilhelmstein thanks! Yeah, we didn't have enough time to put in super clear instructions, but will probably at it in a post jam version. It does have audio though. What browser are you using?
@jefvel chrome
@wilhelmstein that's odd. I've tried it on chrome on all platforms and it works. Do you get any errors in the f12 dev console?
This is a really cool idea, it's very fun!
@jefvel Oh no, my bad. What I meant was that it would benefit from some music or some more audio design. It does have audio, but it does not really contribute to the atmosphere.
@wilhelmstein ah, right. Yeah I added as much as I had time for. There is music, but it might be quite silent. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
You made it so much more forgiving than when I last tried it :joy:
I love the controls, I kind of wish there was a visual indicator to your attack range, but once you get the hang of it it feels great to bop those imps
Nice work!
@01010111 Yeah, haha. I figured it's better to not be completely overrun if you fall into a pile of enemies, it feels more fun. I had that in mind but didn't have enough time to add it. I'll definitely add launch and attack indicators in a post jam version, and stuff that makes the gameplay a bit more varied. Glad you liked it, I also enjoyed your game, quite innovative gameplay mechanics!
best score i think for me was 142 imps slain in 128 secs. The controls were a bit hard to get at first and I'm still not sure I completely understand them, as it's not super clear to me when an enemy is front of me. I realized though if I click as fast as possible after I launch I get a pretty good chance of killing most enemies in front of me, though there's some varying results there. I like the 3d layout with the 2d sprites, and the kind dying effect is pretty good. nice job!
I liked this! Art and audio are charming
@aeveis Yeah, that is one thing we want to improve first. Like add some kind of indicator of which enemies are in range, and when the dash attack has recharged. The attack targets enemies in a half circle in the direction the guy is moving. That's a pretty good score, thanks for playing!
