Really fun game. I especially enjoyed the cut scene at the start

Really fun game. I especially enjoyed the cut scene at the start
@meemog Thank you! I spent a lot of time on the opening so I'm glad it got appreciated!
Good job
that was good
Really fun game, but one loop-hole is that, I just could ignore all damage three-time while just pressing space; then I just need to hold for three time, then continue the loop. Then I suggest a solution, you need give some penalty on fuel(?) if you got hit.
Loved the little intro scene, and the game play kept me hooked in for a bit after I figured out what to do :)
@thearchitect I actually realized that loophole while making it but I felt like it was a strategy that players could use if they so choose. Plus if the player gets to super high difficulty areas without beating the game or dying then it would no longer be a good idea since you'd need all the health you can get. If I work on the game again before the time is up I might add some sort of penalty for getting hit multiple times in a row or getting hit while the shield is down.
@wet-band-aid justified
I enjoyed the humor of the game and thought it was a nice challenge. But I couldn't buy an upgrade in a shop because I never got much money. Still defeated the end boss though :D
@thx4nothing Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!
This game was so much fun! I'm not sure what some of the shop items that I couldn't buy were (e.g. green bar worth $100), but I bought others and had a really good time. Beat the boss too
@fudgemcgroobs I’m so glad you enjoyed it! The green bar was just to heal one health so if you had full health you couldn’t buy it.
Wow pretty nice game!!!
This was great! I really liked the colour-based challenge, actually. It was surprisingly hard! I felt like I got better as I was playing, which is a big thumbs-up. The intro was well-paced, too, and a lot of fun to watch. It introduced the main premise of the game very clearly. I would have enjoyed it if I felt like I was aiming for a specific conclusion - for instance, if you could get revenge on the alien ship that blew up your planet. Overall, great game!
EDIT: Only just read in the description that there was actually a final goal. Maybe spell that out more clearly in the game itself?
@oscartaylor So glad you enjoyed it that much! I was really hoping people would play long enough to feel the sense of growth in their skill at the game. I was thinking about showing the end goal somehow in-game but by the time I wanted to I was basically done so I left it as more of a surprise.
well done, a solid entry. I loved the opening intro. Keeping into the color changing was a little finicky at first, but once I got used to it I seemed to improve quite well, which felt god.
@lintfordpickle Thanks so much! It makes me happy that people can easily improve at the game and enjoy it!
Very neat game. I love your art style; that opening cut scene was great! Gameplay was unique, and surprisingly fun once you got the hang of it. Good job!
@goblinkingmatt Thank you! I spent a lot of time on the art and cutscene so I’m glad it’s appreciated.
Oh- I loved this intro. Loved the little aliens- reminded me of a planet of Number Munchers- I was kind of overwhelmed with the gameplay at first, but then got the hang of it. Kinda reminded me of music pattern game- like DDR or Rock Band. Saw a lot of this.

This is about as far as I got-

I found that my skill level wasn't a match- and actually if I mashed the ASD I was just as successful. I don't know if that was random or a bug- it seemed like the colors weren't matching so I thought I would mention. Also, I was expecting the bullets to die when they hit the edge shield, but they seemed to cease on the center of the ship. All-in-all, amazing work. Congrats and thanks for the game!
Graphics wise the game looks phenomenal, especially the intro was really cool. The way this plays is quite simple but still a lot of fun. I noticed that if you put a finger on each WASD key and spam you can pretty much not get hit. I also think this could have used some sort of catchy space music in the background but I get that this is something not really feasible for everyone. Great job!
@joemid @konrad Thanks to both of you for the feedback!
Was laughing out lout with the 'meeps' of the aliens in the beginning, it made me sad to seem them die! Cool intro. Unfortunately I had to resort to button mashing because the first level already is very difficult at the end and I loved to see what more the game had to offer. The art is fun and intricate, you put some nice detailes in there, like the pods with your dying kind on the ship. Keep up the good work!
@lamasaurus Thanks for the kind words!
interesante, pero le falta desarrollo
Awesome game! I was stoked by how far I was getting and then lost right before the 3star difficult level. It REALLY ramped up in difficulty.
Cool game.. very engaging to play. The difficulty is a bit much I guess.
The intro is amazing. Cool concept and well executed i didt catch any bugs. Well Done!
That was fun till it just got so fast that it was impossible to keep up! In between, I went into a zen mode where I was nailing everything and then one mistake caused just everything to go haywire very very quickly. lol. And I never even got to the point of switching off the shields because it was crazy as it is.
Apart from the difficulty spiking up crazily towards the end, I thought it was quite a cool idea. Perhaps it would have helped if the difficulty spiked up and down in waves, so that you didn't feel truly overwhelmed for too long and had a breather in between.
Nice intro and nice game!
Great game. I like the adjustment of the difficulty. Well done!
While the game itself is pretty fun, it's got a good level of polish, yet some frustration with mechanics and a slightly difficult learning curve. Not entirely sure about the adherence to the theme, but it's good enough I guess!
