Coming next, an epic journey of a lone man's adventure to escape from the biggest baddest key on the keyboard...
In all seriousness though, really funny game, and great work with the camera!

This was surprisingly difficult, but I managed to land with all of my limbs intact. However, there is a fatal flaw with this game, and that is that it could be interpreted as a non-literal interpretation of the theme. That is, one could reasonably assume that "running out of space" actually refers to running out of space on the planet as its surface is slowly covered by corpses and dismembered limbs.
I didn't succeed, but I had fun trying
I didn't realize at first there were multiple levels, then I remembered who made the game. Of COURSE the first level is hard as nails and it only gets worse!
Gave up on the third one for now. Will try again later.
That was very fun (and extremely hard). My blood has covered that green planet.
Very challenging, but also unique and fun. Landing was super difficult, but managed to get there once with some intact-ness. The controls are really smooth, and the entire world seems larger than life, very cool.
Good job!
Very fun mechanic, hard too. I couldn't exactly figure out how to land, but judging from the other comments, it seem possible, so I guess thats just me :_) I liked the humor and use of theme. My game used a similar orbit/gravity system
@vincent-knauss imagine you are a plane trying to touch down. Or in other words, try and gently slide onto an edge and be as parallel to it as possible. Downward velocity (relative to gravity) is what kills you.
Really difficult but addictive. I had fun with this one! Good job!
I did not understand the purpose of the game
@dimesto52 the purpose is to try and land on the planet, then get to the goal box
I like the premise. However, I'm unsure on the best way to land on the planet. Its a smart, innovative take on the theme.
I was never able to figure this out, but it is interesting! I like how the level never restarts, so all the corpses remain on the planet. I think that there should be a way to skip the intro, or the intro should be made more interesting with music, sound fx, ect. Good job :)
It's very interesting! The controls are fun and it's funny!
It was extremely confusing at first and I had no idea what to do or what existed in the playable space. It was fun learning the controls but I always seemed to die no matter how slow I was going and it took way to long to get slow. Also I really didn't like the sound effects they sounded like someone making gross noises into my discord call. But it was still really funny, fun to play, and had nice looking graphics.
@truc-e you gotta pretend you are a plane when landing, think of an edge as a runway and try to be as parallel to it as possible. Speed doesn't matter as much since you can run the opposite direction to slow down after touching down. But hitting the ground even a little too hard will snap your body into pieces.
The art innovation wasn't very good but that was the best humor I have seen this game jam :joy: Well done there
I somehow spent over an hour finishing this, so good job on making this addicting, haha. Getting into the middle of the brown planet was tricky, and the square planet should have been the last as I had trouble with that one. Couldn't land on "Fin" though.

Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Nice work with the camera and the introduction! I really did not get how to win though, I needed more feedbacks/instructions on how to win.
Interesting concept though the gameplay was really hard to get the hang of. First of all the controls are straight up wrong (it's A and D, not S and D) so that totally threw me off - I couldn't tell if I was actually making any difference in my trajectory at all at first. After I figured that out it seemed possible but still super difficult, especially with how long it can take to recover from a mistake. Cool intro though.
@adhesion omg, that's a pretty huge typo on my part. Nice find!
That was fun! It's kinda like lunar lander with a twist. Just the right amount of frustration involved so that it doesn't feel like the game is cheating you (although I only played the first couple of levels).
This was very frustrating but still fun. I had to try more times then I can count to land safely. I enjoyed how the sound cut out if you fly off into the black.
Gotta burn!
This was fun, but despite my prior experience with kerbal space program I couldn't quite figure out how to slow down fast enough on the rectangular planets (tried curving it juuuust above the corners and slamming the breaks down right after passing them, but to no avail).
Also, the intro made me laugh! Should definitely try including something like that for my next game.
Good job, keep it up!
@adrisj7 something along the lines of completely changing directions when near one of the corners is what I believe I do. If you hold the opposite direction key long enough you'll change directions, and then kinda play with it from there to get a nice smooth landing on one of the edges.
Nice game, Love how everything is balanced! Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam! Game Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42a
