Ran pretty bad for me but i like the idea :) Would have liked to see more of the world but it was too painful at 3fps haha

Don't have anyone to play with while rating games unfortunately!
The rotation being "backwards" on the overworld screen was a bit confusing, but yeah quite an impressive amount of voiced and drawn content for LD :)
Ran really bad on my computer. Would have been more faithful to real italy with some traffic ;) but it was an interesting execution of a tried and tested idea.
Liked it! Didn't love the unforgiving hitboxes but it seemed pretty solid, and had nice atmosphere!
Pretty nice!
Looked pretty good and the controls were pretty straightforward, though I would have liked the build menu to go away if i clicked "out" of it.
I didn't like the acid puke sound by the end of it and I managed to only get 46% of the food haha. Turned around and 3 of the big guys were chomping away at the queens lunch. Oh well ;D
Blew my mind when there was 2 planets all of a sudden haha, and then the performance dropped off ;) Pretty neat game tbh, graphics probably slowed your click rate but that's a shame cause it's fun!
Yeah pretty tricky controls-wise but an interesting premise, i thought the gravity was fun and it was cool seeing the same level at different scales and what a difference that made :)
@firewill thanks! Yeah it's always sad to see these things grow and die but this is kind of a celebration of that phenomenon :) I only wish I made it harder to go around deleting things haha, as someone has been "cleaning up" which removes a lot of the moments that people have left around.
I also wish I'd thought to capture the entire history of the game to make a timelapse :(
@philomory thanks for playing!
Thanks everyone! Glad people like the multiplayer aspect, I'd definitely recommend checking out the postmortem and giving firebase a look, it was very easy to integrate honestly!
@occultone thanks for giving it a look on-stream!
@endlesspeak @sean-s-leblanc thanks - yeah if I think of anything fun and gamey to do with it that's not just "boring deathmatch" I'll definitely give it a go.
@tymus I wish I was keeping the updates, unfortunately firebase doesn't have that kind of thing built-in and I've been busy with "real work" since LD :( Would indeed make a cool zine, I'll have to find a way to keep changes and then show it to new people!
Was fun, but ran like crap on my laptop (about 3fps). Fun idea and fairly good implementation of all your ideas though, once I got it on a computer with a graphics card! Unfortunately putting it in "fastest" mode did nothing, so I think some shaders are always-on or it's just the game logic that's slow or something.
Web version refused to load, downloaded for windows. I'd recommend zipping your game inside a named folder for ld for ease of extraction under all circumstances but it's an easy thing to miss :)
Seems like a really idea nice mechanically! The sound got a little annoying but was mostly atmospheric, and the puzzles were pretty inventive. Nice.
Nice, reminds me of the giant lizard levels in "gex: enter the gecko"!
Super cute :)
Interesting but yeah, pretty hard :D
Really nice graphically but ran really really slowly on my laptop so I couldn't play all the way through. Impressed with the colours you ended up with and seems like a nice outline shader.
Quite a "big" feeling world and the combat showed promise. Found it kinda hard to "find my way hope" after going and fetching a key. Connection to the theme is a bit tenuous haha but i appreciated the ambition behind this project.
Quite liked the deckbuilding aspects but had very little idea what led to a good performance, haha. Enjoyed the pseudo-volumetric effect
Grapple mechanic was nice
Quite interesting, if a little samey after a while. This kind of party management exploration game without traditional rpg crawling is a fun little genre that I'd like to see more of - I think that you probably "just" (haha) need more "interactions" to have staying power.
@darylsteak thanks!
@darkguardsman if you check out the postcompo version there's items to collect that can modify walls and teleport you back to the starting ship. You can actually jump upwards 2 tiles (jump while not moving) and climb from there as well - though there's no way to get to the right of that cave pictured without modifying tiles.
I definitely want to add things to make this more clear to the player, and will be doing so as soon as I get more time to work on it!
@star-garden The polish has actually been my downfall in terms of finishing this one, but has made it easier to "justify" post-compo work on the game, as it looks/feels good even if there's not all the substance I'd like. Double-edged sword I guess
Thanks for your kind words folks!
@wolderado you actually _can_ play with the love2d file on mac (and linux) if you download love2d [from here](https://love2d.org) - I just don't have a way to test packaged mac apps currently so I think better to not pre-package something that might not work and cause frustration.
@dasun as it says in-game  its made with love2d, you can learn about it [here](https://love2d.org)
@sengi if i find time I will update it, as I would like to "complete" the project
@sidnoea indeed, there isn't much "game" there yet, and the theme inspiration doesn't show, as a result. There was/is a plan for it, but I got sidetracked which was definitely my undoing this time around. I'm considering writing a postmortem about it - it was actually quite good for me in terms of getting practice implementing lots of different graphics effects, but not so good for the players haha
The cut scenes take the cake haha, pretty fun gameplay when the physics were working right too
Wow, impressive entry considering the chosen platform, haha. Quite a fun little game and very cohesively executed.
Straightforward concept, expands itself over time quite well.
Liked the chair stacking mechanic, the time pressure made me more annoyed than I would have expected - probably too close to home having rushed moves in the past haha.
Sticky movement, glitchy collisions and a pretty steep difficulty ramp (cliff?) if you try to pack "properly" held it back from being super fun but it was quite creative and I can see it polishing up nicely.
@swordfish yeah I figured the idea was to basically get a terrible rating and just be a "crappy" moving company, haha.
I feel like with a few quality of life changes, improvements to presentation, and simple upgrades to your truck it could make a really neat mobile/web "coffee break" game  appeals to the tetris perfectionism but forces you to be "imperfect" due to the time pressure and the irregularly shaped items.
Glad it was a learning experience either way, thanks for the fun experience.
Bit slow at the start and then pretty chaotic. would have loved some hit effects since there were particles for everything else but it seemed straightforward enough haha. not a huge fan of the row clear when you "fall down" - but the kind of reverse-breakout vibe was interesting.
Slow pace but quite interesting mechanically. I wasn't a huge fan of the dirt replacing mechanic, mostly because you couldn't reposition dirt "clumps" after they were dug. The slow leak of water was quite good pressure though.
Deceptively fun haha. I can see this really "working" as a mobile or web commercial game with a lick of paint.
Worked really well! I liked how much emergent "strategy" came out of such simple mechanics and the art added a lot to the mood and humour. Those big green fellas are a pain to wrangle though haha.
I'm a professional nuzzle attendant
The look of inside buildings was very nice. The snow filling up was interesting, but it felt annoying/fiddly when moving around a lot of the time. The mood and misery of the whole experience made up for it though, nicely done.
Nice; the movement was the only annoying part but I think it was a very cohesive design.
Very pleasant game, felt quite attached to/familiar with the world by the end of it.
Tricky at times, could have used a slower difficulty ramp. Quite well executed though, and a funny concept.
Fit the theme really well
Couldn't get it to extract with 7zip unfortunately :slight_frown: Will try again later, I'm having network issues now. Looks very cute from the screenshots though!
