Spoiler for those who are stuck with the dog. If you could get dog's attention then you could make it to do something stupid.
Windows defender analises it as a virus -_-'

A text adventure like the old days. I got the cartridge from my sister's room into my game console but didn't get any further. I think it needed to be a little easier. Also I the theme of "running out of space" didn't seem to be there.
About theme of game - after you get money for that game in first chapter you run out of space on your hard drive.
I really wanted to go further but it's rather difficult, even for a text adventure. Sadly, the dog didn't like the girly cartridge so I guess that's where my adventure ends :)
Go 2 cartridges, a console, bone soup, but can't figure out what to do next. - Is there a way to see all possible action I can do ? - Why can't I just give the soup to the dog and go past him/her ? I can't throw the bone ? - The game would benefit from messages that would give you an indication of what the solution is. Like "give bone to dog" reply is: "It would just eat the bone if you give it away." That is what I want so I can got to the house. There is not reason given that the dog eating the bone wouldn't let me past. It doesn't give any indication of what the author want's me to do. And at this point it's just guessing and no fun at all.
Ok, more spoilers on dog puzzle. You can get dog's attention with bone and then you can make dog to do something that gets him stuck. Dog is chained to pole if you haven't looked at pole.

Oh wow, this is so old style, gave me quite the retro feel, thanks for that :D
I lost a lot of confidence in the game when I saw the typos in the opening paragraph and the 'untitled' heading. After looking at the other users' reviews I found I could show the bone to the dog, but I had no real motivation or direction while playing. I didn't really know what the objective was. I could put the game in the console, but then what?
As a general rule, you should subtly guide the player, letting them know what verbs they can use and a general idea of what it is they should be doing.
I liked the map of your game and applaud your choice of textbased game, but definitely needs some research on technique.
Well I'm stuck in the friend's house, the sister won't let me pass... I love text adventures games, but I agree with @polyducks the player is lost too soon. The map is a great idea though. I think music has his place even in this type of game, but maybe you didn't have the time.
I don't want completely spoil dog puzzle because i like it too much. If dog has seen bone it will follow you and you can use this to get its chain tangled. Marcenat, looking at inventory items might help you with sister puzzle. Otherwise you might not have been in every room or picked up everything.
Well, I finished both chapter one and two. One was impossible to finish without the tips in the comments here, two was doable with some trial and error. I think this is a very good start for making text adventure games (especially with the floor plan, that's a nice touch). However it could be a lot better with giving subtle hints of what to do and being more comprehensive about what verbs and nouns to accept. Also, the story wasn't very linear. I ran into the coffee machine before I ran into the mom. Usually you want to make the player run into mom first so once you run into the kitchen the player has a chance of knowing what to do.
So all in all, good first try, and keep trying! Your games will only get better as you do too!
I liked the narrative here, it felt fun! I did struggle to figure out the commands you could use across different items/places, which at times was frustrating; if it was possible to give some clues on occasion, this could perhaps help! I agree with @marcenat that it is a little too easy to get lost early on, but like the map as a visual guide! I think it's got great beginnings (esp considering the time constraints it was put together under), and with more framework for the player/allowance for different player interactions, it could be super :-)
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Nice game, I hope to see more updates and improvments sooner. If you don't bother take a look at our game when we focused on Graphics and visuals and see the results that we got: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42 Commenti haddi
Really awesome to see a text adventure game ! was a big van of Zork a while back, Loved the mini map but also feel it would have benefited from being slightly more guiding or slightly easier.
Great game, nice work
This game remind me about old MUD games. My english doesnt good enough to understand whole your game, so I left it incomplete. Anyway I hope that you write great/fun/interesting story.
