Nice game. Turning the character seems way too slow. The gameplay is good but I didn't really find the theme.
Fun game!
Pros: - Amazing Graphics! The post processing really sells the art style! - Cool gameplay idea! (It's not everyday that I get to be a drug dealer!) - Cool level design! - Music is cool!
Cons: - Not enough game optimization. (I played on my laptop instead of my desktop and even on very low it was having some trouble.) - Levels seem a little too open, they need a bit more of a focus imo. It's kinda hard to find the "clients" sometimes. - Maybe tone down the motion blur just a little.
Nice job on the entry! The game could run a little better! Maybe try making smaller levels with fewer people in them. Though it's a really cool idea to have a large amount of people you have to weave through to avoid the officers. The turn speed of the character could be a little faster if you're going for tank controls. :) The mood of the game was great, trippy city environments whilst you're trying your find your away around to your customers. Good job, keep making games!
@steve-sparkes @kippllo Thanks for the feedback, I do agree with you that the level were way too big. We were going to add 2 more levels, but we didn't have the time, and I think that the other 2 were smaller than TechTowers (the second one).
@kippllo Glad you enjoyed our game! I agree with you with the motion blur. It was a split decision, but a majority of the team agreed to it. As for the maps, we had a few smaller and enclosed maps, but we couldn't figure out how to add collision on the camera in time, so whenever you played those maps, your camera is almost always in the walls, so we had no choice other than to use the open ones.
Nice game, I was a little lost though. Maybe add a UI or something like that.
@meschdog17 Thanks for the advice! Originally, we added a minimap on the top-right corner, but it seemed really off and out of place, and it ruined the whole style and theme of the game, so we removed it. Maybe we could have added something similar to a minimap, and try to blend it into the theme.
Woah, the chromatic aberration and motion blur was too strong for me. From what I got to play it was very interesting. The level was probably a bit too large though, took a while to get around!
The second level was almost not playable on my computer, cause too many AI. Idea's interesting and the take on the theme innovative though.
Amazing Graphics!
cool use of the theme. agree with the optimisation comments & the need for more player guidance. good job though =)
The level after tutorial have some lugs. Probably you should show NPCs after checking the distance to player.
music failed to load in the downloaded copy i unzipped :( sorry julz.
The game had it's luls with the size being far too big and it slows down a lot. But a very interesting concept :D
The shader work/full screen effects were really cool in this.
Really like the idea, however I think you could've focused on getting the feel right rather than focusing on the post-processing. Also the audio loop wasn't seamless, so that was kind of irritating.
Really nice take on the theme, but maybe reduce chromatic aberration a little
Could be improved but overall great idea and awesome music!
The character is too slow, and the motion blur is... weird ! Remove it ! Anyway, quite original concept, wasn't expecting that !
Cool concept. Literally running OUT of space!
nice
I dig the concept here. The graphics are nice and the effect when you interact with a customer is really cool looking. The music is good but could use a bit of variation. It'd be nice if the player moved faster given the size of the level, and also if there was some kind of indicator to at least reveal the direction of the closest customer. I'd like to see cops patrolling through the inner area too to increase the challenge. I think a game like this where you deal drugs at a concert/festival while avoiding security would be awesome. That's the vibe I was getting while playing anyway. Good job all!
Nice idea! :)
Nice idea but controls are way too slow, but great game overall ! ;)
cool
