Neat game, enjoyed your audio effects.
Very cute graphics, just not a fan of deck building games. The instructions were way too overwhelming. I could not really absorb it until I needed it. A better in line presentation would probably go over better.
The sound and design and all the rest were awesome. I just think not being a big fan of deck builders and the instructions being hard for me to grok I didn't stick it out long enough.
This looks like something that would be neat to flesh out more. Very nice look and feel and easy to use systems.
Very nice work
Interesting concept, the art style and music was amazing. Now I see why my annoying alert bells bugged you so much lol, what a contrast. I found the puzzles hard but that was probably just a scope thing. Do you have a video of how you did the art? I really like that style a lot.
Thanks, yea it was 50/50 on my play testers on knowing what to do. I appreciate the feedback, I could have done a much better job on the tutorial. <3
LOL thanks @randomhuman
@2kah, thanks fixed! Appreciate the kind words.
Yea the audio I'd have tweaked it turned into eventually it was just constantly running. Thanks for the feedback. What res were you running the game at? Curious about looking into the dialogue windows. I have a 4k monitor but built things to run on 1080p.
@philip45 yea the lighting in the webgl version leaves something to be desired considering so much time went into baking the lights and tweaking them. Thanks for the feedback.
Hah thanks @samusoidal, Yea i found the stuck in the corner issue yesterday myself. I should patch that out, And agreed, the sounds are a bit grating after awhile. Thanks for trying it out and giving feedback. I appreciate the time.
The theme was small world, your world was being stuck in a tiny engineering room. :) Yea i'm weird lol I went with the theme after listening to Quill18 talk about an engineering game where you work in the engine room. With a little more time I think it would be more fun and less, running back and forth like a turkey.
Aww thanks @nekoballs you're the first person to reach the turbolift. The idea was to be repetitive, but if i had more time repetitive but less annoying about it. Thanks so much for taking the time to play it.
Like DennyRocketDev, i was in the same boat. Really good vibe though.
Neat game, I liked the focus on space & science. The thrusting was a little confusing but i got the hang of it eventually.
I had trouble understanding what to do, but the geometry was very awesome. Very beautiful work for so little time. Would be nice to know the controls and what i'm supposed to do, so i can take another crack.
I really liked it, I wish there was more icons but you got me to laugh. :)
@memel06 Yea I ran out of time with what I wanted to do so i had to go a little more yuck then I wanted. And I'm sad to see you got stuck, I'll work on the collision detection a bit more. It was different with ECS Hybrid so i was still wrapping my head around the differences. I should have put a "get unstuck" button. :) thanks for taking the time to play.
@somuch My son wanted the zombies, and he wanted them to chase you, I ran out of time to get the A* pathfinding working. I was using ECS Hybrid for the player controller and the new tilemap stuff from unity. I had been use dto use spritetile in the past and the unity stock stuff is "different" enough that it threw me for a loop. Thanks for playing.
@marcel-oyuela-bonzani yea that is one thing i wanted to do, but I'm still getting a handle on how to scope things during a jam. I think this one was more complete then the last one, but hopefully next time it's even "better".
@truc-e thanks for the feedback, yea i need to work on the collisions but ran out of time trying to go too big. What gameplay ideas do you think would have helped? My kids actually want me to keep working on this so they can play it, they enjoy puzzle games. Thanks for taking the time to answer. :)
@leave you can hit 'retry level' on the right and you start the same level over again unless you ran out of lives. At least you should.
@mrnyarlathotep was supposed to be lava & water, i never got time to finish the shaders for them. :) And I wanted to have the tiles fall apart as time passed but I did a bad job scoping. Thanks so much for the feed back. :)
@krapht hah yea as i played it i realized the start was probably too hard, and backwards. Thanks for checking it out.
@fivenamefivesocks thanks for checking it out. Yea I need to get better at my time management. The janky collisions were less janky then after my first pass lol. Thank you for the feedback.
That was pretty hard, but that was enjoyable, thanks for creating it!
Yea a little scary but thanks for putting it together. +1 for the zip recommendations. Please join the next LD as well. :)
Challenging and fun. I got past like the 4th level with the triple jump but couldn't make it further. Great sound work and fun.
Neat game, the controls didn't feel super intuitive but the music was very nice and felt very in place.
The motion blur was rough, but i loved the art style and the simplicity. Nicely done.
I loved this game and it was really well done.
Sorry about the webGL being a steaming pile. I removed it since it doesn't work. But thanks for checking it out <3
Make more of it, thanks for the effort, it's awesome, well done.
Best game ever, long live the king.
This game changed my life, the world is green again!
Keep up the work.
Pretty great for a first entry! Can't wait to see what you come up with next LD!
