Your cat is cute!
Nicely done entry! A 3D project for the compo deserves respect! But to be honest I tried 5 times to find what I'm supposed to do, but never figured it out. In the dialogues you write about some buttons are these the green lights in the ship? I'd love to see some kind of restart function and a small tutorial but overall a good entry! Oh and the fx fits the mood of the game very well. :)
Funny idea!
Thanks, yea it was 50/50 on my play testers on knowing what to do. I appreciate the feedback, I could have done a much better job on the tutorial. <3
I like the idea of an abusive monster captain in the Star Trek universe, fun!
LOL thanks @randomhuman

Nice game, I love the premise! Also, if you edit your game again you can set which categories you want to opt out of.
@2kah, thanks fixed! Appreciate the kind words.

Good for a first try. A race to keep everything from failing. I played the WebGL version which I'm gonna assume was buggy from unity issues (pictures appeared over the words and doors were pretty hard to identify) Overall fun though!
I Played this on Livestream a bit ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwY1-PtcDqs
I left notes in the video, I have so many concerns. My big thing: That repeating audio sound was so obnoxious it actually was the thing that stopped me from giving it another try. The other thing is the player has no guidance, which was probably impacted by the dialogue windows being totally unreadable.
Yea the audio I'd have tweaked it turned into eventually it was just constantly running. Thanks for the feedback. What res were you running the game at? Curious about looking into the dialogue windows. I have a 4k monitor but built things to run on 1080p.
@philip45 yea the lighting in the webgl version leaves something to be desired considering so much time went into baking the lights and tweaking them. Thanks for the feedback.
Ahead Warp 1... The engines are out. Ready the phaser banks... The phasers are out. I can't breathe... The life support is out. We're under attack... The shields are down 100%. WHY, CAT, WHY?!?!? The controls in this game were very tricky (I actually got stuck in a corner on my first try, and the stairs ended up costing me the game), the audio was a little annoying, and the smoke was very disorienting (maybe that's the idea). I think it's a good concept (though I don't see the theme), and could be made into something great with some more time. We need more Star Trek games.
Hah thanks @samusoidal, Yea i found the stuck in the corner issue yesterday myself. I should patch that out, And agreed, the sounds are a bit grating after awhile. Thanks for trying it out and giving feedback. I appreciate the time.
The theme was small world, your world was being stuck in a tiny engineering room. :) Yea i'm weird lol I went with the theme after listening to Quill18 talk about an engineering game where you work in the engine room. With a little more time I think it would be more fun and less, running back and forth like a turkey.
Gameplay wise it was a bit repetitive but addicting enough to make me reach the elevator! I really liked the mood, spaceships and cats are great. Jasper looks fantastic in that pirate hat!
GUI didn't stretch properly on 720p and less (Usually easy to fix with the "Canvas Scaler" component)
Aww thanks @nekoballs you're the first person to reach the turbolift. The idea was to be repetitive, but if i had more time repetitive but less annoying about it. Thanks so much for taking the time to play it.
Really nice job on your first entry. Some of the sounds became a bit too repetitive toward then end of a play through. Some variance in the footsteps and maybe distinct alarm sounds for each panel that you needed to do would add something to this. I hope you enjoyed the compo and participate again next time.

The starfleet safety inspector has a big issue with the stairs, there are no handles! :-) Nice entry, especially for the first try. Maybe add a few lights, it was a bit hard to see anything near the side doors.
