LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Milgram by Kortuga 2015-12-14T17:24:00

Wonderful interpretation of the theme! I had trouble sitting in the chair for some reason; maybe having just a dot crosshair would be useful. Other than that it was a fantastic execution!

33 grams by martincohen 2015-12-14T03:40:00

Fascinating game. Wonderful aesthetics all around!

CLON by Boberro 2015-12-13T21:47:00

Nice execution of a Tron game. I really dug the music too.

Asteroid Panic by Finestep 2015-12-14T04:44:00

The pickups are so tiny! Good job making space seem spooky and unforgiving.

Vine Racer by mactinite 2015-12-14T04:23:00

This is one of the best, most polished games i've seen so far. Excellent work, taking the rotation concept and expanding it into something more interesting!

Floppy Frog by walaber 2015-12-14T00:19:00

Incredibly frustrating, but the best kind of frustrating. QWOP-tier satisfying frustration.

Need For Seed: Undergrowth by RhythmLynx 2015-12-14T16:36:00

Absolutely fantastic. The dual modes of play was a wonderful way to spice up the common two-button steering pattern of this compo, and the random vehicle coming in and destroying everything in its path kept the game from becoming overly strategic with the flower patterns. One of the absolute best I've played so far.

Eldritch Trance by TheWzzard 2015-12-14T03:11:00

Excellent little rhythm game. Making the most out of those two buttons!

Scrap Yard Racing by lastnerd 2015-12-13T23:58:00

This is very fun! Well done not letting the not-game get in the way of the game. Quick cycles and fair gameplay work well!

AquaLution by vados 2015-12-14T18:48:00

I found my fish going backwards most of the time? Very disconcerting.

Blue & Red by zaniarm 2015-12-13T21:45:00

Pretty fun for such a simple idea, although it took me a few failures to figure out what was happening in the game. My biggest complaint is that the sound was really abrasive.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Radiation by KunoNoOni 2017-12-06T01:15:59Z

It seems like there isn't much in the way of strategy for this game? You just roll the dice, and if you get lucky you'll win.

Also it seemed like 2 pages of rules was way overkill for a game of this scope. Maybe think about what stuff is already communicated through the UI so you can just give the player the crucial info they won't be able to glean when as they play.

System Up-grade by dirkinz 2017-12-06T01:19:41Z

I don't understand why the controls were so strange. It made the game frustrating in a way that didn't seem like it added to the experience.

Avoider by Linus 2017-12-04T23:30:30Z

Very interesting concept! I found the camera control very difficult to use, but I was still able to progress through the game OK.

Dodge X by cogcomp 2017-12-04T21:37:20Z

Quite good looking for the time put in. The music was quite good too. I have a GTX 1080 8GB and the game was running at around 70 FPS.

School Bus Simulator 2017 by mmason 2017-12-05T02:53:16Z

I got through several levels but eventually the bus just kept spinning and spinning, even after pressing the I'm Stuck button. But it's clear you spent a lot of time on making interesting levels to drive around!

Get Those Things!!!!! by roflmoqkz 2017-12-04T19:19:34Z

I found this game very difficult, and I was unable to get past the second level. The final hinged block would become flush with the wall, and I was unable to get any of the little squares past that point.

King of Coins by SandPile 2017-12-04T21:52:09Z

I quite enjoyed this! Great art, decent audio, and a mechanic that feels like a fun interpretation of the theme. Good work!

How To War by machrom 2017-12-04T20:48:51Z

The UI becomes very difficult to make out at higher pollution levels. It also seems like the balance between factories/greeneries was difficult to grok.

Green Chefs and Pancakes by MrAssassin 2017-12-06T01:29:11Z

I replayed more than a dozen times but I can't survive more than 3 seconds. I quickly flip the pancake up but as soon as the flames surround the first guy the game ends. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Not gonna lie I got v. spooked playing this.

Pacific Parkour League (PPL) by alexpritc 2017-12-05T00:26:40Z

I had a great deal of difficulty with the jumping controls. You might want to look up what "coyote time" is.

Late Night Chef by DosWosh 2017-12-04T21:15:07Z

V spooky, but the graphics worked really well with the consistent style.

Stealing Cubes by VengeurK 2017-12-05T02:58:15Z

I really enjoyed the way the world works in the game. Being on the inside of a sphere is fascinating, and I'd love to know how you did it. Outside of that, the game was incredibly clear, with visually distinct objectives and enemies (and even a mini map!) And even though all the assets were cubes and spheres, the lighting made the art feel more professional and interesting. Well done!
