It seems interesting but I can't figure out how to play it. I can get the player cube to move around the donut with the blue cube in the middle by pressing space. Are there any other controls I'm missing?

Great game. My highest score so far is 12. Thought it was funny that I too have a grid based game where you play as a cube, although in mine you have to avoid the red cubes. I think with some more variety in the actions the player can take this could become really really interesting. A good example of how a solid prototype can be a fun demonstration of a simple mechanic.
Great game, great idea. I want more levels!
Haha, loved it! On my fifth playthrough I got in a very frustrating lock between two cars: http://i.imgur.com/q81CnQV.png But I finally got my casualties down to one life once I got a hang for the horn and the brakes. I was surprised that the controls are actually fairly deep. 5/5 for fun.
I forgot to mention, You can also use E to zoom in and Q to zoom out as well.
Hi Jiggawatt,
It's not necessarily about awkward controls, it's more about maintaining a constant rate of input. If you can get around 5 keystrokes a second you can maintain your direction pretty easily. The rest is just reading the enemy paths properly. Is it badly balanced? Yes. Is the control gimmick flawed? Definitely. And the sloppy level design doesn't help. I wouldn't say it's completely unplayable for a lot of people though. I like your idea about making it more puzzle based though. I don't think I'll revisit this concept, but if I do I'll keep that in mind.
Awesome game. Keeping this in my LD28 favorites. The movement speed and controls could use a little tweaking maybe(it felt too much like I was gliding) With some good assets and a more engaging setting this could be really addicting.
I knew this would be my cup of tea the moment I saw your in-progress gifs. Did not disappoint, and I even found the easter egg!
Nice graphics and ambience.
Nice graphics!
Hey guys. Thanks for all the feedback and comments. I've updated the game to fix an issue where people were getting stuck and losing as a result. I would love to tweak the difficulty but I feel like that wouldn't be in the spirit of the rules since it would change much of the design. If I end up polishing this more I'll definitely post links though. Thanks again!
Nice use of depth of field. The post-processing really tied it together.
Interesting concept. With a setting and theme I could see this being really engaging.
The visuals are really bold. I like it.
Nice. One of the overall most solid entries I've seen so far.
I really like the animation. Great gameplay too.
Nice game, I really liked the sound effects. High points for mood for sure.
Man, those graphics.
I liked the gameplay. Difficult to tell when you need to restart though.
Oh man that game dev note had me in stitches. I had a lot of fun exploring, and the writing for the artifacts was really good.
The game started out really zoomed in and I couldn't figure out how to escape.
This is a really fun multiplayer experience. Figuring out how the weapons interact was interesting.
Graphics were really nice. It took me a little bit to get used to the controls but it's pretty fun too.
The sounds the tile makes are really cool. And my heart sank each time the bird fell off of the platform.
Awesome game. Sweet track too.
The concept is really cool, it's a shame this hasn't gotten many ratings. It took me a while to figure out how the controls worked, especially the click and drag + growth radius. With some refinement this could be really cool to play in local multiplayer though.
Wow really hard.
Wow that cave level is frustrating but the mood was spot on.
