Wow. This was honestly scary. I think it's the Audio. Those footsteps of the Sider for example are just terrifying. I sometimes had problems getting enemies to leave me alone with the flashlight tho. At times they run far away, at times they turn around quickly after you turn the flashlight off. Pretty good idea, I like it!

I liked the stealth mechanic and monsters to strategize against. I struggled some with the controls and I am not sure the monsters always responded to my flashlight.
Great job and grats!

Not my cup of tea, but great game. I can't finish it because I'm a bit too terrified.
Wow, the size of this game is huge! What is taking up so much space?
Thanks for all the comments so far, its been very encouraging. I know there are still a few issues I didn't have time to iron out (hopefully nothing gamebreaking). As for the size, well there is a bunch of stuff in there that I didn't get around to using/removing before putting this up. I'll be sure to manage the filesize better next year. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Spoooky game you got here! Took a while to get the controls down. It was awkward having reach so far across for my blanket and boots. Puzzles were simple, but fun. I enjoyed it!
Very moody. I definitely felt some dread playing this. I think that the world got really boring really fast though since it was just a giant open world with monsters spaced around. There are some interesting things in the room, but it feels like the kid is being hidden in a warehouse or something.

A bit too buggy to be enjoyable, even if the mood is there.
Bugs I encountered: Flashlight pointing in a different direction than I was facing. Randomly respawning/teleporting to the place near the "stage" with the blue lights. Enemies walking through walls and not really reacting to the different tools the player was offered. The slow effect of blanket and sneak boots sometimes canceling each other out (or maybe it was more of a visual bug?).
The idea is decent and as already said the mood was nice. There was even a bit of humor thrown in the instructions but after quite a few deaths I just gave up, didn't feel like I was progressing, somewhat due to the bugs. Controls didn't bother me too much, since I played with my left hand on WASD and my right on FCB. The puzzles I saw were OK (the one where you have to click the buttons to light the 5 or 6 blue lights (or maybe you were supposed to shut them, since nothing happened after lighting them up :P) and the teleport-labyrinth (which was maybe a bit too hard due to monsters and the "switches" not always registering)). Couldn't figure out what to do with the large stage of blue lights though.

The game is a little rough around the edges, but for "one room" it felt grand, packed with things to do. I really liked the idea of avoiding these nightmares, hiding under the blanket and so on. Mastery of presenting the pixel art and lighting well and feeding the experience back with a real audioscape will go a long way, but it's a great foundation. Nice work.
Sometimes the girl just teleports.
Very good sounds.
Cool effects of light.

300 mb - probably more than all other LD games I played combined and then it turns out it's packed in 7zip instead of something normal. Such a let down.
Interesting game, well done!

Cool idea with the different methods to get around the different monsters, but it seems unmanageable when they team up on you with different types at once D= I am not sure what is going on with the bottom left, it seems hard to get through and I'm not sure if there is a pattern to which lights should go on in order or if its just not registering that I hit some of the lights? I couldn't see a doll that hinted at any clue to this, perhaps I missed one in a bundle of monsters... also not sure what i am to do in the top left, spell out "DOLL"? Couldn't get that to work if so but maybe I am way off on that idea =D
I got the teleporting bug others have reported, but only seemed to happen after I used any of the teleporters at least once.

The mood is really scary D: I was hiding in my blanket all of the time! Love that you can actually hide under the blanket though it doesn't really provide me with much help. Flashlight saved my life. I couldn't run around with it to explore the room. Sadly couldn't figure out most of the puzzles, hints from the doll weren't very helpful.

Nice idea. I got a little too confused when trying to remember which action to use for which enemy and that's probably why I died more easily (personally). The bugs I've found were already mentioned by others so I won't repeat them here.
I like the style of the enemies and overall scariness of the game, and those sound effects just make it outright creepy. Good job!
