This game was freakin' unbelievable. It's such an innovative idea and, in addition, a blast to play. This is the best game I've found so far.

This game was freakin' unbelievable. It's such an innovative idea and, in addition, a blast to play. This is the best game I've found so far.
I really liked the idea, just wish I had somebody to play against or some kind of objective. It would be cool if you had different obstacles too, like a narrow bridge or a split roadway so you had to change shapes to get through. I really hope you go further with this after the jam!
The graphics and sound were really interesting, cheers for that. It was a bit too hard for me, though.
I really loved the animations and the music.
Ollying would be a good addition. The movement does feel really good.
Really loved the art and the gameplay. The transformation into office objects was really amusing and your props really shined. I do wish the UI popped up when I die, so I don't have to hit escape and retry every time.
Thank you for posting the source by the way, my entry was also a stealth game and I look forward to seeing how you accomplished the mechanics.
Side note: This would make a great mobile game with a little polish.
Really good audio, the rollerskate noises were oddly grating. I really liked the whole atmosphere, it was really eerie. The props were fun too, I really liked the shark oven mitt, very spooky lol.
The controls could have been a lot better. Why have left and right pitch the plane? Why have a button to flip over / turn around at all? I really love the idea and the gameplay gifs make it look super fun but the controls are too hard.
This art is just too good, I absolutely love it. Like some others have said I wish there was a little more to the gameplay.
The music and art were really incredible on this, I really loved the paper-mache style you had going. And I laugh every time I see that fish's face, lol. The RPG stuff was really unexpected but fun.
Very cool, I'm really impressed this is a threejs game. The logo is extremely awesome, too.
Effects and style were really nice. It was a bit too hard for me, I couldn't get past becoming a square. I don't play bullet hell games much though.
I kept playing over and over to hear more of the song lol! I kept laughing at loud at the absurdity of this game - the french-themed enemies on top of the song, it was just perfect. 5 stars for humor and audio no question.
Very nice asthetic.
Very nice and peaceful game. Good peaceful music too. Unfortunately I could only find 99 of the 100 coins :(. Also I think diagonal movement is faster than up/down...
Wow, the presentation on this game was A+. Loved the music and graphics. Very nice game in general. I encountered a weird bug where I sometimes couldn't lift blocks. Also the way setting down blocks worked didn't always seem consistent.
Really fun, "quirky" is definitely the right word lol. Good work, it was fun to play.
This was a fun little adventure.
I really liked the assets and the world you made, I wish there was less fog though, so I could see it better and keep my bearings. Some more direction might have helped too, but identifying the landmarks hinted at what they contained (except the mushroom which seemed just randomly placed).
I couldn't pick up the bones. I saw them on the ground and looked at them best I could and pressed E, but it wouldn't collect them, I'm guessing this is a bug.
@adsilcott thanks for mentioning this, I made a quick patch to the web and windows build to raise the player above the ground on the last level.
This is so cute and it's so awesome that you worked on this with your daughter. Her artwork was great. Fun too.
hmm it looks like I can't beat the last(???) level. It's 3 high by 4 wide, I can get to the end but nothing happens.
It's a fun little puzzle game, I really wish the text went faster though, I read much faster than the text was scrolling by and there was a whole lot of dialogue with apparently no conclusion.
BAck to the puzzle part, I really did enjoy the puzzles but the whole thing wasn't explained, like what does the green x do? What do the arrows mean? What are these faces and which one is me? It took a while to actually understand what was happening. But once I did the puzzles were fun.
I got outside... did I win? I love the props but the gameplay felt a bit pointless, I couldn't figure out what the little blobs did and it was really hard to move around.
Next time consider using a free web host like github.io or itch.io or something to host your project.
Wow, very simple and yet very innovative and fun! Puzzles are very clever too. The music is great to top it all off, well done.
There were a couple other games like this but this is by far the best and most entertaining. The game feels really polished, the music plus the menu screens really make it feel really legit.
Very beautiful and lots of nice details to the shifting world mechanic. The gameplay was really shallow though and I didn't feel challenged at all. And the shapeshifting felt a bit tacked on.
The DNA system was great, reminded me of kirby 64.
That was really effective and well made. Kudos. Really excellent choice of music, and a nice, consistent art style. I got chills a few times, I know some of these feelings.
*drinks*
Having flashbacks... very clever indeed. I wish the number pad on my PC was the same layout so I could really fly with my time-earned texting skills.
The haircut mechanic is uhh... unexpected.
I couldn't get anything but the gun and normal variations... I could see other haircuts that I couldn't reach.
Very cute and fun. Some sort of scoring / levelling would be good and make it more exciting. Also loved throwing stuff at customers.
Challenging, but hugging the corners and spamming the mouse is too easy of a strategy. I also agree with Ghen, the enemies are too fast for how close the camera is. Graphics were very nice.
Wow, those puzzles got hard fast! Very good music that went along with the game, and overall a really good entry. The gameplay mechanic was really clever. The spikes were really brutal though, maybe save some of that for later levels. It also would have been good to have an indicator of where the teleportation point WOULD be when it's blocked by terrain / red areas, so I could time my button presses better.
The sound effects were unbelievable cute, lol.
This was a cute game, but as some other people have said you really just have to keep hitting D and you'll beat the level, lol. It was amusing, though, those were some sick tricks.
Excellent style on this one, and the whole game has a very good mood to it. I can't get past level 4 though :(, kinda feeling stupid.
It was a bit hard to kill the enemies, in terms of how many hits it took to kill them and how hard it was to land hits. Otherwise this was a pretty solid little game.
Wow, wow, wow! This is what a LD platformer entry should look like! Nicely done. Probably the prettiest entry I've played this jam.
I do wish that it didn't say "You can do it!" at the top for the whole game though, it would help to be able to see upwards :)
I wasn't able to get it to run with the JRE 1.8.0_101-b13. I can't seem to find the eact version 1.8.0_74 online.
Looks like the .jar file works, thanks!
This is a fun take on an infinite runner, I like the art a lot, it's very fresh and kinda reminds me of Cave Story.
Nice work.
This was really fun. The gameplay is pretty straightforward but the narration was really amusing, so it kept the game interesting. The music was pretty mystical and went along with the story. I wish it were a bit longer but honestly it was fun as-is.
Bonus points for having an AWP.
Great idea and execution.
I did run into a bug I think, where I couldn't plug things in, I fiddled around at the target and couldn't get it to go :/. It happened a couple times.
Would be good if the difficulty ramped up a bit faster. It starts at a good pace but takes a while to get going.
Wow, you really nailed the style with this, the bullet was on a wire and everything!
I'd really love to see this as a full game, I'd play the heck out of it. I don't think I've ever seen anything in this style before.
Ack! The typing bit with the numbers was too hard, I can't touch-type numbers!
Very cute little game nonetheless, I wish I could progress further.
WHAAAT? This is awesome. Seriously, mad props for making this. I'd love to hear more about how you made this, did you type out the sprites by hand? How do you get started with something like this?
There are several Javascript gameboy emulators, by the way, and it works with your ROM (no sound though), if you wanted to post a web link you could probably figure that out. https://github.com/taisel/GameBoy-Online
Hmm I couldn't get any further than the trefoil. Very nice art and music, I loved the claymation and the motion. I just couldn't really figure out any logic in the gameplay.
Cute idea. The splash screen was confusing because it didn't tell me how to start, I thought it was just still loading. Also, it would be better if there was some more friction on the wheel, so rolls didn't take so dang long each time. The graphics made me chuckle, some animation would have really brought it to life.
Hey Ghen, please call the support number with the you error code and we can sort it out :)
@Fitret using setparam correctly is the last step to making the game "beatable", it should kick you out to the main page and then you should be able to beat it.
This has a really good mechanic for flying and a neat idea for the projectiles. Unfortunately I couldn't get all the way to the end, but it was lots of fun until that point where I got stuck.
I'm an electrical engineer and I really struggled with this... without resistors it doesn't really make sense. A voltage source wired together with a low input is low? See http://imgur.com/a/nJWTe (both solutions pass). It Might make more sense to somebody who doesn't "know too much".
The graphics were interesting, it was slick how the character never "teleported" between scenes. I wish the game had some progression.
Does look promising, shame you weren't able to finish it. Keep up the good work :).
That had some real potential! Would have loved to have more powerups/weapons like in Worms et cetera (mostly to give you a reason to move around) but the concept was very solid and was fun to play. Artillery mode was really challenging and satisfying, especially arcing around the sun to nail Bob.
OMG this was sooo cute. The music is perfect and the whole thing feels very well put together and incredibly charming.
I did run into a bug where the fording minigames didn't send anything down the river in front of me, so I had to just jump into the water, I still made it, though.
A surprisingly huge world! Very cute art and I really loved the 2.5D for a while. Unfortunately it made me a bit nauseous. Maybe if it was a little less pronounced I would have been okay.
I wasn't quite able to finish it, but what I got through was really enjoyable. One tip I would give is that it would have helped me not get lost as much if the areas were a bit more varied instead of all being littered with bushes trees and a green ground. It wouldn't really have been a problem but your world was so awesomely big!
Comics were great, I laughed out loud at the end. Otherwise very good in general.
Loved the art in this so much. The music was really creepy and somehow the teapots seemed to work with the atmosphere. The movement and the engine reminded me very much of devil daggers and old-school FPSes.
It was a bit frustrating that the candle actually made it *harder* to see, but it was a fun mechanic.
Sadly I only have one 360 controller, otherwise I would play this. Looks fun though.
🍃🐞💩🌿
I disagree a little with @endlessplumber, I think the pushing mechanic was difficult but I thought it worked pretty well. I was able to get a lot better at it by the end. I also really liked how the ball moved, it moved like it was kinda "lumpy", its' hard to explain but it reacted very well.
The last two levels were especially fun, I thought. I also really liked the little transitions at the beginning of the levels, that was a great touch that I don't usually see in LD games.
The bug animations could definitely use some work, but I expect you knew that. All-in-all very fun, do keep going on it.
Clever gameplay, reminded me of Lemmings. Good use of the theme too. It would have been cool if there was some planning time to place them in anticipation for the plagues rather than them all happening so fast.
I loved the character and your art a lot. The game was pretty fun and I would have liked to see more levels and more puzzle elements like would be in a more complete version. I also really liked the death sequences, that was a clever way to let the player redeem themselves.
I felt like I had no control over where I was going when I moving through the level most of the time, and didn't know whether jumping up would land me on the ceiling above or the floor below. The black rocks showed me where gravity was high, which was good, but having something where I could look ahead and plan what to do would have helped.
The art was awesome, a very interesting style I don't think I've seen before in a jam entry. It reminded me of Kirby games. The gameplay was solid too.
Wow the art, music and audio were unbelievable. It really conveyed a mood, it was great.
This was pretty fun! The difficulty was a bit high, usually rhythm games are a little more forgiving :).
Every once in a while the music seemed to get off-beat, but after dying it seemed to sync up again? Not sure what the deal was.
Really lovely voxel visuals, and a neat idea for a game mechanic. Reminds me of the plasmids from Bioshock.
I wish there was more to the way the card effects interacted with each other - i.e. maybe fire does nothing on a frozen enemy etc. Also wish the effects lasted a bit longer so I could think out what I was doing more instead of spamming cards.
I'll definitely be checking out the source later.
I got all the items but the wand!
Great concept and really amusing art (I laughed out loud many times at the various peaducks). This is really great for your first 3d game and in 48 hours. Yeah the red room was a bit hard but I finally managed to get whatever was in there.
love the art and the simple concept, the chase was on!
It took a couple playthroughs before I realized I was supposed to hit Enter to boost. Fun once I got that figured out, though.
Really awesome graphics and audio. Gameplay was smooth and cute.
Nice touch with the two songs being different arrangements of the same thing
Am I missing something or do the walls just need like 40 hits to take down? Couldn't get through the third level.
Great use of the theme to come up with something new that immediately clicks. Loved the kaiju and how heavy it felt to move around.
