This is extremely creative. By the way, everyone should call the number and actually go through the process - considering that's the majority of the 'game' :)

Very very cool and clever idea, LOVED it.

ghen 2016-08-28 18:31

hey, i got runtime error 18652 when try to click it, the main menu works just fine

fenwick 2016-08-28 18:47

Hey Ghen, please call the support number with the you error code and we can sort it out :)

fitret 2016-08-28 18:57

Really really interesting, but I got stuck after "setparam". Is there more to it?

fenwick 2016-08-28 19:07

@Fitret using setparam correctly is the last step to making the game "beatable", it should kick you out to the main page and then you should be able to beat it.

reboundgames 2016-08-28 19:16

Excellent, although for me the console scrolls back to the top every time it prints something out, which made it hard to read the messages at the end. Did not expect an ARG from ludum.

reboundgames 2016-08-28 19:16

Oh, the title is clever as well.

fitret 2016-08-28 19:21

@fenwick Figured it out. Really liked this!

setthebet 2016-08-28 20:10

Yeah well.. I'm not calling to the other side of the world. Sorry.

swampie 2016-08-28 23:19

I'm getting a runtime error on both Chrome and Firefox

ninjanic 2016-08-28 23:57

I keep getting an error as well, but I'd prefer not to call that number.

abhimonk 2016-08-29 00:07

Really cool idea. Never seen anything like this before. I couldn't figure out how to get the password for the login though.

simonhutchinson 2016-08-29 00:28

Ok, that's an awesome idea.

Later on, I'd love to hear/read about your thoughts and process in putting this together.

You should check out an audio piece by Mark Wingate called "Welcome to Medicare!"

swellbastion 2016-08-29 02:04

omg that was awesome. I'm like 44% sure that wasn't a live person

seurimas 2016-08-29 02:06

Clever and funny. Loved it, especially the notes and the angry messages.

That's certainly one of the unique "games" I've seen on here. While it may not have been a traditional game, I still had fun going through the process and calling the number, and fun is what we all do it for, right? :)

appleskin 2016-08-29 03:59

10/10 That was entertaining. Well executed "simulation" and convincing voice acting

smilewood 2016-08-29 04:14

Very unique! I was unable to follow through the entire treasure hunt of a game you have set up, as I don’t currently own a phone, but this IRL game is a fun idea.

rico-the-jammer 2016-08-29 06:00

That sounds like a great great idea. You should probably release a standalone at a later date to allow people who, like me, are not in the US to be able to experience the... experience.

I think Cardboard Computer did something similar with a free Kentucky Route Zero spin-off called (pun!) Here And There Along The Echo.

kevkevonfire 2016-08-29 06:44

Ah geeze you got me. Blurring the line between joke and game here, but I laughed like a moron. So there, are you happy?

lojchin 2016-08-29 06:47

It is a really creative and funny.

ripporkins 2016-08-30 03:43

Hahaha, pretty funny. Now how do I get past the 3-headed dragon in level 5?

dkdwrek 2016-08-30 03:58

This is fantastic! I loved the game, and can't wait to check out the code.

qzqxq 2016-08-30 06:15

This game was the best ludum dare game I've played so far.

8keys-studios 2016-08-30 07:59

Wow, this was my favorite experience in a long time. Very inventive. It actually made me a little nervous in parts.

raiyumi 2016-08-30 19:07

Woah, this is really clever! :)

n42k 2016-08-31 08:33

If to progress the game I must make an actual call I can't do it as I don't live in the US.

kardfogu 2016-09-04 18:04

Well, most people just can't call that number. It is quite dumb if you think about it, isn't it?
No, not clever at all.
