Had the same experience as @Carvster , had to mash both of the buttons at the same time, think this game would really benefit from an online leaderboard currently.

Although I find the combination interesting, I felt the execution of the game lost some of the randomnesses of golf and the towers felt out of place. I just can't shake the feeling that the genres would have combined better if the game was not grid-based, you could place towers on the green areas and get a challenge from moving obstacles.
Overall I love the polish of the game, with the art, music and puzzle design.
