Surprisingly very ingaging game. Forthe first 3D Game, not bad at all. I like the 2D in 3D graphics. the secret was absolutly worth it! I'm proud to announce I have found all 10 items and had a lot of patience afterwards : P

A really clever concept. The level design was good, and it was fun finding all the little hidden spots. :)

vkmicro 2018-04-23 16:08

Yeah, I loved this xD Very crisp and precise movements and collision detection was great. Sounds were awesome too and that duck and the hidden area character drawing were amazing. player character was... interesting to say the least xD I liked everything about the game. The clever evil and sneaky level design is great, awesome job there.

Great job

Nice and smooth platforming as well as cool level design. The only thing is the red room. I found it too infuriatingly hard. But maybe that's me for not having the patience. In any case, great first!

iak 2018-04-24 11:50

@SandBloom I made the red room significantly harder on purpose as opening the door works fine even with just the 7 easier items. But I suppose that could have been more obvious. XD

For your first Unity and 3D game, I'm impressed. You had good level design as well. You should be happy and proud of this. Nice work!

It's pretty good for your first 3D game in a week end ;) The camera movement in the corner of the game can be pretty frustrating tho when you can't see when you are going.

hagamosvideojuegos 2018-04-24 18:17

So cool, the carrot and the... "last thing" are so hard to get...

Amazing duck game! Amazing end!

fenwick 2018-04-25 00:50

I got all the items but the wand!

Great concept and really amusing art (I laughed out loud many times at the various peaducks). This is really great for your first 3d game and in 48 hours. Yeah the red room was a bit hard but I finally managed to get whatever was in there.

rockhoppergames 2018-04-25 12:49

Congratulations on your first unity game! As with the others, I'd say the red room is a bit hard. Don't forget the people playing/rating are gonna have a lot of games to get through, so getting stuck on one will be more likely to frustrate them than casual players. I definitely liked the theme and presentation, even if I had some difficulty with some parts. I thought it was still very cute!

Well done. I felt like the platforms were too small, they don't give much room for error. I also felt like missing a platform was too punishing, going all the way back, in most sections.

silkworm-sweatshop 2018-04-26 01:50

Strangely fun! I thought that some of the platforming was going to be a nightmare but it wasn't really that bad (as long as you have the camera overhead looking down). I like the aspect of exploring and trying to find the different pieces, some which are kinda hidden.

lyrcaxis 2018-04-26 07:53

It was fun! It became a little frustrating when I dropped for the 3rd time on the last platform, but alright I had good fun challenging myself for a balance :D

toulou 2018-04-26 11:14

What a weird game, I love that ! Took me a while to get the concept, at first I collected a ton of item I had no idea what it was for. Also, the platforming get really hard really fast, the one in the red room is so infuriating. But, aside for the difficulty curve, I enjoyed your game a lot. It's simple, it's weird and there is a duck. So, good job !

gi11 2018-04-26 16:56

That was a pretty relaxing experience haha. Took some time to figure out what I had to do exactly, but once I did it was a good time trying to find all the items. Red room was a little tough because of player speed (jumping and then moving made it easier, but moving and jumping would lead to falling).

Was a fun game. Good job!

Mouse sensitivity is super high. It would be nice to at least have a setting to change it

iak 2018-04-26 19:08

@Anonymous Aye, I do agree having a few settings in general would've been nice. But I didn't get around to do that anymore.

justmars 2018-04-28 19:09

Impressive for a first Unity game! Keep it up!

nilstastic 2018-04-29 18:32

Nice little game! On my first try I went down in the red room, and that was a bad Idea :-)it was really hard down there. Next try it went better. The controls are a bit sensitive, but good job on finishing the game.

Welcome to Unity3D! Keep learning!

yellowlime 2018-04-30 08:22

I love exploration-based 3d platformers so I had fun with this game. I have the same complaints as the others with the red room: too hard! I kept playing only because I read your comment here that the red room is optional. Some gamepad support would have been nice; moving can be done but not jumping or moving the camera. Good ambient music. Great level design (aside from difficulty). Very good for a first 3D Unity game in 2-3 days.

iak 2018-04-30 10:31

@yellowlime Thanks for the feedback, I will take a look at how I can get the camera working with controllers soon. _(From what I can tell assigning Buttons shouldn't be too difficult, but I haven't used Unity enough yet to really know the details)_ Definitely something I want to have from the start in future entries!

kingofwhawha 2018-05-03 18:15

Wow the level design in this is so well done! Even though the mechanism is very simple, I enjoyed this game for quite a long time! (The heart item was very VERY sneaky haha). The control was very responsive but I think it could be improved with a slightly slower upward velocity (like how the classic Mario jumps). I had some trouble clearing the red level which takes A LOT of jumping, so adding some Mario-like physics might help! Great job!
