Well, it's a neat brainteaser. Could be used to learn about basic circuitry.

Interesting game. I don't undestant much about circuits, so i'm struglling alot xD

Cool game and nice mechanics:) Although it was a little difficult for me.

psilon 2016-08-28 16:49

It's a cool game, and it's a cool teaching application too.
A hint system, or show the solution button would be great.
10/10 point

You really accomplished the challenging part. Maybe the jump from the first puzzles to the 4th is a little too steep, but very well done and with a cool aesthetic.

awesome mechanic, bit hard for me
imo the ui need tweak a bit, theres no clear separation between the object that needed to select and the rest of the text, should have a clear column of its own
but its just nitpicking, awesome entry!

I'm an electrical engineer and I really struggled with this... without resistors it doesn't really make sense. A voltage source wired together with a low input is low? See http://imgur.com/a/nJWTe (both solutions pass). It Might make more sense to somebody who doesn't "know too much".

Seems promising but ultimately I found this confusing to play.

mcmutton 2016-08-28 19:16

Well my minecraft redstone skills didn't get me too far in this game. :D

Still interessting concept and fun to dig into the knowledge. Well done. :)

Quite basic design but good puzzle. I struggled some with the userinterface (clicking vs clickdrag, selecting, deselecting etc.) didnt feel intuitive.

Wonderful game. I made it to level 11 (I will go back and try to finish it later) and am having a great time with it so far. I think this game would benefit from a level select screen and a more detailed tutorial. An option to view previous tutorials would also be beneficial, as well as a list of all outputs for a level (that would figure out clarify what is required for each level).

I am also a huge Zachtronics fan, and I made a SpaceChem-inspired game for miniLD #69 called Production District (https://steven-miller.itch.io/production-district). I would appreciate it if you checked it out (even instead of my actual game for this event, since there are no ratings anyway).

Also, I noticed a bug. When you delete a junction, the graphics start to glitch out.

This can be a great learning tool for electric circuits! I have no prior electric circuit knowledge and I found level4 suddenly jump up in difficulty? I will definitely come back to this game when I have more time because it is very educational!

Fun but very high learning curve for people who do not know about this kind of thing.

schrunkin 2016-08-30 12:40

Always wanted to learn about circuitry, so it's nice to see a game that makes it more enjoyable to learn. The game is quite hard when you don't know a lot about circuitry, but thats okay, most of this stuff can be googled if it becomes too hard :)

@Steven Miller
Thanks for the feedback! Your game looks right up my alley, I'll be sure to try it out when I can :)

lightsoda 2016-09-08 12:12

I'm sure this is solid for anyone into things like this. I had to bail at puzzle for because I felt overwhelmed, so many words and things.

lightsoda 2016-09-08 12:13

^ Bail at puzzle 4, is what I mean to say.
