hmm it looks like I can't beat the last(???) level. It's 3 high by 4 wide, I can get to the end but nothing happens.
It's a fun little puzzle game, I really wish the text went faster though, I read much faster than the text was scrolling by and there was a whole lot of dialogue with apparently no conclusion.
BAck to the puzzle part, I really did enjoy the puzzles but the whole thing wasn't explained, like what does the green x do? What do the arrows mean? What are these faces and which one is me? It took a while to actually understand what was happening. But once I did the puzzles were fun.

I'll be honest, I liked the mood and the little story going on, but I was totally lost when in the level. Once, I won(?) and it brought me back to the chapter 1 story. Graphics we also nice!

I couldn't quite grasp how the movement worked immediately, but it was enjoyable once I did. Cute guys, too.

@fenwick thank you so much for the feedback! The text definitely was slow... My initial idea was to hide the rules in the text (which goes terribly slow so sorry if that bored you...), which is really not clear enough. In the level you weren't able to pass, the text beforehand (there were a couple sentences in red) that talks about how you need to meet with Jane first, then go to the goal.
I'll put the rules in the description instead. Thank you so much for playing, and thank you for the feed back! (This is my first LD and just the fact that someone played my game makes me sooooo happy...)
Cool :)
This was a really good game, a bit deep even...
There should have been a way to speed up the text because some people are faster readers or have already read that text several times.
Aside from that this was a really interesting puzzle game, I don't believe that I have played a game like this before and the text really conveys the mood and may even some deeper messages. The story of the game is actually interesting.
One other problem is with the people that move sideways. Unless you were paying attention to them from the move before its impossible to tell which way they will move if they're in the middle of the screen but maybe that isn't really a bad thing - You need to pay attention to everything all the time.
Overall it was a fun and interesting puzzler.

This is really clever! I was kind of confused about the mechanics at first, but once I figured out what I was supposed to do the puzzles were a really fun challenge. Enjoyed the interstitial story bits, though a way to make the text appear faster would've been nice. Great art, too. Nice work!
Hey, I hope you 're enjoying yourself well, I just try your game and I have to say that although graphics are simple, they look great, very good job in that part. On the other hand i must say that due to almost no instructions the functionality is really hard to understand, you mentioned that the rules are within the story, but an important thing to remember is that for most players, we as game developers must give them the necessary instructions to initiate smoothly. But I must say congratulations on this achievement and continues to improve ;)

Took me a minute to get it figured out, but it was a great mix of solid game play and story.
So hard to understand :/

It took a while to figure it out because I didn't understand right away who the shapeshifter was. I think the game concept overall is very good and the graphics fit the theme well.
Music would have helped the mood a lot.
The point that made me quit after winning round two was that I couldn't skip the story, which I found hard to get into, especially since the text progressed quite slowly.
I think overall it's a very solid entry that needs a little bit of extra polish.
I can't event get past the text...
I like that RACISM in that game!
Last level is unbeatable, and there were some pretty big bugs, but the story was great and the game was fairly entertaining.
I don't get the mechanics. The story was pretty good though. It really set the mood.
Once I figured out the rules, this is pretty cool - and ties nicely into the story.
I just wish the text were faster (I am impatient person ;-)), and that it didn't look so blurry (because of the shadow).
Overall, very well done though!

I couldn't get past level one. Literally.
I beat it, but no other levels showed up.

Nice entry! You designed a very interesting puzzle mechanic!, although it took me a while to find out what the goal was despite reading the instructions. I think that you should graphically state that in a more clear way.
