Sorry, but I couldn't yet test this game. Unity webplayer gave error about chrome plugin not available. Guess I'll need to return to this game once I get unity games working on my browser.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD35 → Endless Shipshifter

I liked that you made time to present the story it often ads to the experience. The controls works well and it is a nice angle of the theme. I liked the graphics as well. Good job!
It would really help if you could pack a stand-alone downloadable version or a WebGL one :-P
Very nice music and visual effects. I'd have liked for the intro/tutorial part to be faster or skippable.
Hey! The Unity Webplayer error is because you're using Chrome (And they stopped giving support to this plugin). If you use Mozilla Firefox or another browser it will work!
I tried making a webGL version but it's giving me too many problems, so I uploaded a Standalone one instead!
Also, you can skip the texts with the SpaceBar :)
Thank you all for the feedback!
Very cool game! I most enjoyed using physics to rotate the ship, and powering up of course.
Very good game!!! The mood, the graphics, the idea... Good job!
I enjoyed it! I would have liked something to allow me to rotate or navigate a bit better (or maybe I just didn't find out what those controls were). A lot of the time I was just tumbling around in a general direction rather than feeling like I had full control over the ship.
Also, maybe try zooming out the camera a little. I only got to 5 or 6 pieces, but I felt like at that point, I wanted to maybe have a little more space to see ahead/around me. Then maybe I could have got a sense of where I was going beyond just whether to turn left or right at the next corner. Would have also been nice to have some more open areas to contrast with the tight maze. (Or maybe the game had that and I just didn't discover it :p).
A few things didn't make sense, like being unable to kill the turrets with regular white lasers, and the red enemies still damaging the ship even when I hit it with my battering ram piece.
Music and sfx were great! Shame the music didn't quite loop. I also liked that you got some story in there and the dialogue was cool, the intro looked great and the graphics looked great!
This is a solid game!
I only have two complains:
- The big ship in your main screenshot is misleading advertising. I want a ship that big but afaik I cannot have that in those tight spaces.
- I was expecting the ship to loose parts when hit instead of dying all at once. This way it would be more like shifting and make it somehow easier to explore different ship configurations.
I loved the presentation: story beginning and the end with stats and also the little segments for installing new parts.
Awesome. Really like the gameplay and collecting ship part by part :). Solid game. Good job!
good controls, but I'm holding space all the time?(maybe add reload function or something.. to mix it up) nice storyline(though text is bit hard to read on that font). Infromation text you get after getting new part goes away pretty fast, I barely can read that fast. visually pleasing graphics. nice tunes! Aand then I get stuck, environment is not made for fitting big shapes :( http://imgur.com/jIhml1e I liked it a lot even still!
Really cool game, even had an intro. For me, i would have liked if i had some sort of map or at least some guidelines which way to go. Really liked this game!
I love the tiny jets and the music is funky. Great polish; one of my favourite so far
Very cool game. I like the graphics with the vibrant colors and effects. Also very unique game mechanic, well done!
Great game, Its good that every different part has its own behavior and adds more shield slots.
This was awesome! What the yellow triangle do? I saw it only 4 times but every single time i died before i could pick it up :(
@aeai The yellow triangle is a Double Shot Gun (You shoot 2 bullets at a time from each of the triangle's side :)
And thanks everyone for the feedback! It's all very helpful! :)
Awesome game. It's incredible the it have been made in three days.
My only sugestion is the posibility of manually rotate the ship.
Great fun, loved adding modules and placing them strategically. Would be nice if modules broke off instead of the whole ship exploding. Game play was still very good though.
I think you have to improve the graphics but I like the game. It's funny and solid. Good work!
Awesome game! I had a lot of fun playing, and I really enjoyed being able to build my ship exactly the way I wanted it. It's pretty challenging, too... I liked the health replenishment system; it kept me on my toes and made finding a new module all the sweeter.
I did struggle at the start with lackluster firepower and a tough-to-control ship (being stabilised was a relief!), but I don't mean that as a negative: I really felt like I was progressing as I upgraded the ship, getting stronger and stronger. Not too strong, though!
Great job! If you do develop it further, it'll be interesting to see where it goes.
very solid entry! it's very well done. simple controls, a story and a lot of action. good job!
great style, really clean !
Amazing compo entry! The customization is a very good point. Controls are good and visual effects very nice.
