Cool concept! Rotating the individual world sections feels very smooth and satisfying.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD38 → Escape from Tiny World

Cool concept! Rotating the individual world sections feels very smooth and satisfying.
im not sure if its just the browser version (thats the only one i tried) or what but the world rotating thing was broken :/ other than that its pretty good, pretty good gui/title screen for a game jam
The concept of rotating sections of a small world is quite interesting. However, the game could use some detail in both the characters and the environment. Also, the background is somewhat off. Nice puzzle game.
A good proof of concept. Rotating the sections of the world like a Rubik's Cube is a really intriguing and satisfying mechanic! Switching between input modes worked well and the transition was really nice. I did have trouble moving around as Mike due to sticky collisions with the walls.
Good gameplay mechanics, I liked that there were bloc to hide from the lasers. I like the shadows. You could improve the character and design graphics. I miss some music and sounds. Also I collected the 7 gems and nothing happened. I found another bug : if you try to move the world where you are, it is red, and if I move to another zone, the previous one is still red. You need to move the cursor back and forth to unlock it.
Need cookie here ! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/dung-beetle
Pretty neat game. The rotating segments make for a really fun concept!
Concept was nicely executed, but I felt the graphics weren't unified and the game sort of just played itself, mostly in a trial and error fashion.
Concept is nice, the keyboard controls are somewhat strange - and I was able to bug myself few times. The actual execution could use a bit more polish (but hey, which game on Ludum Dare don't).
I believe that using controller is a game changer here - compared to keyboard. Congratulations on making game and keep up the good work.

Interesting game. Could use some audio and better graphics, but overall fun game.
The concept is nice, but the controls are a bit strange with a keyboard anyway. The graphics are kinda inconsistent, but it pretty fun once you get used to the controls.
The concept is really cool! Definitely worth another round of polishing though, took me like 5 deaths before I knew what was going on. Controls are a bit wonky though.
I suggest having a fixed camera angle, like the one you use to flip worlds, for moving around too. It gives more overview and alienates the player less.
But the idea is super dope.
Interesting game! I got 8/7 gems so there might be some bugs, but overall it's a very good concept!
Oh, and if you could check out my game that would be a huge help!
Really cool mechanic! Missed the part where it said press tab to toggle, so took me a while to figure out how to play but once I did it was quite fun. Main complaint is that getting stuck on walls was so frustrating. An easy fix if you don't have time to do full collisions: when you overlap a wall, push the player away from the wall by making a vector (wall's position - player position). Other than that game was fun! :cookie: :cookie: :cookie:
Really cool idea :) plays well and the spinning of each part of the world is a really cool mechanic :)
Good original idea. Collision with walls is very hard and is game has end? I get 8/7 gems and nothing happen.

Good game!
I escaped! Weird and interesting mechanic but it worked. Good game.
I really like 3D games that force the player to understand the 3D space they are navigating. Great work with those mechanics!
Nice concept! The repositioning of the different world parts looks and works really well. Found controls a bit tough, at least with keyboard and mouse.
