Great game, keep up the good work.
Loved the idea and the fun that directly camed out of it. That really need to go further in the making. Thanks
Nice game art bro

@tuteupaituamae why should we hate you? Could we just Rate you? :joy:
Wow! Such a big number of team member, doing a rather huge game! Good job!
c:
yeah another ue4 game, nice job!
What the heck! This game is the shit! (In a good way :D) Very very good job for 72 hours wow!
Good job on coordinating so many people! I imagine that being the biggest challenge when working in such a large group. The game is fun and looks very nice.
I loooove those 'play on the same screen' games, this one is very polished and looks awesome, well done!
Very interesting concept, there are a lot of bullets!. The game looks very polished and well made.
Very polished and well made game. It can be more interesting if you add more variation to gameplay. For example if two players couldn't shot each other directly. Or you can have powerups that players fight over.
Anyway. Good job. Keep it up
Very polished game that has its own universe. I enjoyed playing this little robot on his little planet. Maybe you could develop a little scenario (we dont know why there is such battle). It is clear that you focused on the visual and mood. Maybe you could improve the gameplay a little more.
I only played the survival mode, although I really liked the mechanic of bullets being able to fly over the whole planet, come back and hit someone in the back. I imagine this could be a lot of fun in multiplayer, I actually would have liked a normal mode with some AI buddy more than the "survival mode". But I think you guys could do something really amazing with this idea! Well made submission for this LD!
Awesome game. Very nice graphics (maybe way too nice, since my sh.tty laptop couldn't handle it for more than 20 fps, haha). I loved the music and mostly the menu song. The idea of western robots sure is original and creative, and that is why I gave you higher points for that :) Good job!
Good game. Sadly, my PC cannot handle it, like 20- FPS here. Specially considering the processor's cooling paste is outdated. It is hard to rate in this situation, so I don't know what to say.
It seems to be a very nice competitive game, and I'm pretty sure it would be a lot of fun to play this in a decent computer with some friends. Its like a couch party game.
:pushpin: Some suggestions (as I always do): + :bulb: Power-ups, different bullets (like modifiers from Arkanoid) + :bulb: Random spawn itens (health-packs, shield energy etc) + :bulb: Interactive environment (random or deterministic hazards, item spawn points etc) + :bulb: Assymetric characters (different mechanics) + :bulb: Online multiplayer + :bulb: Optimize code and provide option to lower graphic quality
Just in case you intend to keep working on that.
Solid concept, lots of cool assets, but I feel it could all mesh a bit better. I'd like getting hit to be more impactful. Great style and thematic presentation. Hopefully I can find someone to play it against sometime
Thank you all for the great feedback!
@iluvatar @meronsoda have you tried the post-jam update? We introduced a settings menu where you can scale down the game quite a lot. It should be playable on low end laptop too :)
Very fun, I love split-screen multiplayer games! I wish that the camera would turn rather than the player character turning - you can't really see where you're shooting when the character is facing the bottom of the screen.
We also made a local multiplayer game - check it out! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/apocalypse-world-cup
This was pretty fun, I liked the shield mechanic and the ricocheting bullets! But yea, like other people have mentioned, it's hard to see what's going on because the camera doesn't turn when you turn around, it's hard to see what you're trying to shoot at if they're coming from the other side of the screen.
Interesting prototype! I feel like there's a lot of potential here, and split screen multiplayer was much appreciated! I'd echo the previous comments about camera turning. Overall I think a few issues with game design keep this from being as good as it could have been, but great presentation!
Impressive game. Great job!
Very good game. I had a lot of Fun
Great use of a spherical map, fits the theme and never know when someone comes from behind.
I played the jam version so forgive me if I mention anything that you've changed post-jam!
Love a bit of splitscreen hijinks, that was a lot of fun. Almost over too soon but best to be short and sweet!
I found it a little frustrating being hit from below. By the time I saw a bullet it had hit me at that point. Maybe I'm just too slow on the draw (as evidenced at getting my ass kicked on multiplayer) but perhaps a slightly more zoomed out view would help?
As others have said camera turning would be helpful. Once one player gets below another they've got a super huge advantage.
Everything looks super polished. Lovely robot models and environment, and the music fits in nicely.
I feel there's loads of potential with this if you decide to develop it further. Really great job. :D
