LD27 — 10 Seconds

Bluescreen by Everbrave Interactive 2013-09-03T23:07:00

Hey Mrspeaker,

So the game's presentation is very confusing, I realize that. It's mainly due to lack of time in creating the UI. Ha ha.

So you play the embodiment of a virus software, the Paladin Virus Hunter. Busty Cops II is the software that has been installed which just happened to contain a virus. You have 10 seconds to get rid of the virus before your pc bluescreens. Which tends to happen a lot.

Then inspiration came from my friend, who installed the drivers for his new graphics card and ended up bluescreening about 15 seconds into startup due to the driver software being ran. He had 15 seconds to uninstall the software. When the 10 second theme came up I thought, "Perfect." So I went with a more generic example of bluescreening that everyone should have a bit of experience in. Ha ha.

Yeah. I'm assuming the but Luquio is talking about made this unplayable. If you get red, green and then go for blue, you can't pick up blue anymore, thus I don't think you can finish the game.

The Lost Caveboy by omid 2016-09-11T07:31:00

Loved this. The artwork is seriously beautiful. The animations were great. I'm really surprised how much art you got done in such a short amount of time. I really love the blacksmith and his animations. I want more though! Audio would be a first, but more gameplay. This art is just too great to be such a short game.

Really great game concept. I see a lot of expansion potential if you plan on working more on it. If not, I can't wait to see more from you.

SUNWARD by graebor 2016-09-21T05:58:00

This is simply amazing. Best game in the jam I've seen so far, hands down. The art is brilliant, the controls are great (I played on Web though) and the gameplay is fantastic. I played three times. The first time I finished way too fast and didn't see the fire. The second time I died in the fire and the last time I realized the spear puts out the fire. That makes it far too easy, but I don't think your goal here was challenge. It's great. Amazing work!
