LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Time Bomb by Deozaan 2015-04-29T21:08:00

Holy shit that was amazing! Very fun, and terrifying. Those robots are scary. I had to play many times to beat it.

missls by Filip 2015-04-29T20:55:00

Very sad, but a good game.

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Life: The Game by ohmaigawd 2016-01-03T21:18:00

Great fun! Would love to see this expanded into more levels or alternate levels! Maybe choose your levels where you can do different minigames for a different path in life?

Crabby Puzzles by Verrazano 2015-12-14T06:50:00

Very nice! Way more to it than I was initially expecting! (Your GIF makes me think simple chaos and running, you deceiver!)

DESEEDER by Zanzlanz 2016-01-04T19:40:00

That was excellent. I barely beat the f@%#ing tutorial, but it was awesome.

Kubka by rujo 2016-01-04T18:47:00

Very well executed except for the few portions where the only way to progress is to get lucky or trial and error instead of skill. (Making a jump and then, oh, there's a wall at the end of this upper section. That kind of thing. Impossible to plan for.)

AVOID RINGS by misson20000 2015-12-14T06:36:00

Hey! I remember playing this when you linked it in the IRC! :D Loved it then, love it now! The only change I'd suggest is having a score counter going up as well as levels.. (I assume there are more levels, I only ever made it to level 1.)

There's Always a Bigger... by Jerre 2016-01-03T20:59:00

1470 was my highest score. Pretty fun. The first time I played I didn't quite like it, but I tried again and found I did. xD

The Journey East by gallerdude 2016-01-04T05:46:00

Your hitboxes should probably be a little smaller (unless this is supposed to be rage-inducing difficulty). :/

Colony 3028 by klianc09 2016-01-01T19:23:00

Definitely needs more work, but this is a great beginning. The biggest thing that kept me from enjoying it was a lack of tutorial.

Unknown by Eshford 2016-01-04T18:43:00

I see great potential here, but I HATE most of it. The beginning is very nice, the sound the red makes fits, it's a nice beat. The moment a green comes along, it's ruined. The tempo you have to hit doesn't feel like it matches with the song anymore and the sound the greens make when you hit them is just grating.

Swarm Hunter by HuvaaKoodia 2016-01-03T20:54:00

Was a bit hard to get the hang of the controls, but once I started to see how to do things, it was really fun. I feel like the base speed should be a little faster, and the lunge a little slower though.

this is the game by Steve | tacospice 2015-12-14T06:42:00

Oh my God that's hilarious! I love it!

(Is there some secret or anything? I mean, all I did was delete everything..and BSOD.)

Let's Play Simulator 2016 by zulman 2016-01-04T06:15:00

Interesting..but I don't lose subs by not uploading! xD I mad bro. I'm seriously upset that it doesn't make any sense, but I also love it. xD

CHILL PILL by alvarop 2016-01-03T21:06:00

Very fun. From a player perspective, I like how it increases in size as you play and mess up. From a YouTuber perspective...that's gonna be annoying to edit. xD Maybe make it optional?

I agree with the recommendation amras0000 said about making the color switch the moment you hit the button, also perhaps making the grandma travel faster.

Reap by managore 2015-12-14T07:00:00

I remember you sharing an early look at this, very very nice!

The Snowball effect by NuvlearGames 2016-01-04T02:08:00

It's a bit broken that I can just jump off the side of the level and win...

SUPER SCIENCE CORP by Hot Box Games 2016-01-03T07:16:00

Awesome all around!

Need For Seed: Undergrowth by RhythmLynx 2016-01-04T19:46:00

My only problem with this is that the randomness of spawning fucks me over a lot, especially when I spawn off screen going away from the screen and literally have no way to fix that. o.o

Sticky Stuff by bradur 2016-01-04T06:30:00

Great graphics, effects, sound design. Loved it!

StarShibe by gladers 2016-01-01T19:45:00

That was awesome. xD

Pointless Text Based Quest by pixzleone 2016-01-04T23:09:00

It quit working after I tried to go north at the very start. :/

2ButtonsAdventure by Zyow 2016-01-04T06:04:00

One of your downloads is not packaged properly. The EXE alone cannot be run. You need the Data folder zipped up with it.

Glow&Grow by Ivan Volkov 2015-12-22T03:55:00

It starts too quickly, and would really benefit from something like a casual mode, but otherwise, I love it!

net_forget by Os_Reboot 2016-01-04T02:48:00

Was very fun!

The only problem I had was that it was a little difficult to remember which gates were which, but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm rushing through games so fast or not. :/

The Artifact by nunesbarbosa 2015-12-22T03:45:00

Loved it! Made me think of Rock of Ages. :P

BloatBlaster by the-arrival 2016-01-03T21:39:00

10 kills, 175.06 time

Pretty fun, but a little confusing as to when it's safe to shoot (to keep them from multiplying).

One Man Spaceship by MrDave 2016-01-04T19:09:00

Very cool idea, loved the voice acted sound effects. xD

I loved how floaty the gears were because it made it slightly frustrating to select something..which is a weird thing to say.

Soylent Greenhouse by sararyCow 2016-01-03T07:22:00

Really didn't get it. :/

WAR GROWTH by Trasevol_Dog 2016-01-04T22:54:00

My absolute favorite thing about this is how the pattern-matching (or whatever you want to call it) for which sequence you are doing is very fluid, and allows me to make mistakes that change which pattern I'm going after. xD

There's No Going Back by XAND 2015-12-14T06:25:00

Loved the way you did that, and those bastard spikes. xD

Opcode-Powered Shuttle (working title) by Guard13007 2015-12-16T19:54:00

Thank you for all the feedback! I'll be continuing development at a slower pace post Ludum Dare, but right now I'm a bit busy with other projects.

Can't wait to turn this into something more. :D

Opcode-Powered Shuttle (working title) by Guard13007 2016-01-04T18:59:00

Thank you all again for the continuing feedback. I haven't been able to work on it much more post-LD, but I definitely will.

Right now my top priority is figuring out the communication system. Then, I will start adding some content and changing a few things based on feedback. Eventually, I will add more control methods (because while two buttons is great for the LD theme, it really hampers this).

@LukeZaz, thanks for the idea of throttle control based on percents. I'm thinking of changing stop/slower/faster/max to 0%/20%/60%/100%. Maybe I'll make it optional/changeable in game. Not sure. You also made my realize I want a display on screen of current throttle. Thanks!

Carp'e Diem! by Archonthewizard 2016-01-03T22:08:00

Pretty fun, the boss battle dragged on a bit too much though. I think the only problem with it really is that it seems to be impossible to lose, since you can only truly lose the one-shot fish.

Rosebud (Growing) by cynicalmonkey 2016-01-04T06:24:00

Unavoidable branches were really annoying, but otherwise it was pretty fun.

Antibounce by TurtleP 2016-01-04T02:30:00

The only problem I had was with spikes appearing right below me where it was literally impossible to avoid them.

Bad Cloud by pedrorossa 2016-01-03T22:14:00

Some trees seemed invisible, and some water sources didn't actually give water. :/ I also couldn't figure out what I was supposed to destroy with rain.

3:LLIS - PROTOCOL : PROTECT PLANTLIFE by LeClaw 2016-01-03T07:41:00

There's only two problems I see with this, the first is that the text on screen is too fast before it disappears (at least during the opening explanation), the second is that it feels like you have to be super precise to land on a lot of the platforms, so I died a lot just from failing the same jump 10 times in a row.

SLUG STORM by Niels.Tiercelin 2016-01-03T21:24:00

Holy shit! That was amazing! My favorite game so far! :D

Core Guardian by Nanocryk 2016-01-04T02:22:00

Couldn't play it.

Ultra CopyCat Force by xanwan 2016-01-04T19:27:00

Would love to see this developed further.

Puzzlerun by velddev 2016-01-04T06:35:00

Big problem.. I just walked off the side and sat there, infinite easy win because walking on nothing is allowed for some reason. :(

Evil Developer's Lair by Baecun 2016-01-04T19:35:00

The forth or so level had a first jump that was impossible. :/

*reads rest of description* ... ohhh..maybe you should've mentioned that in the game or at least with the controls, because there was no way for me to know I'd be able to do that. :(

Safe or Sorry by JimmothySanchez 2016-01-04T18:53:00

From your description, (I missed the "end the game" part) I thought the safe button would bank points and let you start over, continuing from there. :/

I think it's too easy to be lazy by spawning one monster and just staying out of its way, but it's a nice concept.

Fleshgrowth by pzeronow 2016-01-01T19:14:00

Had a bug where the screen went red and nothing happened anymore except I could .. just read the part where you said the game sometimes stops at 27 blocks..yep, that one, I ran into that one. xD

Melissa - A Game of Choice by Imagos Softworks 2016-01-03T06:52:00

The only way to win is not to play.

After 2 punches, I decided that's the moral of this game to me, and stopped.

GLYPH by JaCkJoKeZ 2016-01-04T05:53:00

The game launched in a borderless window partially off of my monitor, so I couldn't see nearly a third of the game. It also didn't seem to be very responsive to controls. :/

Zircon by _HopFrog 2016-01-03T22:22:00

The control limitation really hurts this game. I know it's the theme, but it made it very difficult to keep track of which way was which. I also had the game glitch out on me a few times where I suddenly was in the air unable to move, or moved a box into the air, or into my self. It got quite annoying to be honest.

Hope by Jace239 2016-01-03T07:55:00

Very nice! ..except, I am confused, because I thought I was doing very well, keeping up the white, bringing a few up from the black, and stopping beasts from raising, but Despair won. :/

GURU by TomenLuca 2016-01-01T19:36:00

Amazing! Would love to see this fleshed out into a full game!

FRUITWOLF by Claw 2015-12-22T03:33:00

Loved the look and feel of this! Thank you for submitting it to me!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Casual Shapeshifting by M2tias 2016-04-17T20:06:00

When I try to run it: "NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist."
