Great game, and a great message in the story too.
Everything was so visceral! Great music, awesome art, and addicting gameplay.
I liked the art a lot, but i wish you had included WASD controls as well. I didn't like the audio of the game though :/ It felt a bit unrefined when compared to the art.
Completed the game and enjoyed it a lot too :). But i've got to say that the background music felt out of place. Other than that, a great game.
The robofist is awesomesauce!!! Really loved the idea And implementation. The drill fist made things slightly easier, and my favorite moment was comboing multiple of those small red thingies when they swarmed up in that level by sending my fist from behind the group and then Pow pow pow pow!
Cute graphics too, although the ground seemed a bit plain when compared to the rest of the detailed and cute assets.
The only thing i didn't like was that going back to the dealer resets your level progress.
Also I don't know if it's just me but i after 4-5 minutes the music stops and there is a loud beep sound for a while. Then the music starts again.
Finished the game and:
a. The music bug i mentioned before didn't happen again.
b. Finished the game without any upgrades. Absolutely loved the last few levels. Had to try the last level about 10-15 times but finally cleared it. Would be super to get more of this!!
c. Set my previous 4/5 ratings to 5/5 because this is the most fun game i've played out of all ludum dare games.
d. Will play again with the clock upgrade as I didn't try it yet. (I'm not a big fan of the drill one as it makes things too easy. I love super tough games done right, and this one is :D)
Great use of theme in the mechanics! Would be awesome with some polish :)
The physics was pretty good in the game. Didn't realize that thing was a bulldozer until i read the comments.
Great atmosphere and a simple but innovative puzzle game.

I actually liked the gameplay of the original compo version more, as you could predict the walls by looking at their lower part. I just didn't feel as immersed in the improved version. Original entry was really cool though, and I would love to play that in my phone :)
The story was good, and well written, apart from a couple of contradictory instances (like when we're in the mine, if we click on the description text, it says that she never "home", it said that she still wouldn't light a fire here, and then suddenly she wants a warm dinner).
Other than that I enjoyed it. Would like to know more about the thing that had happened. Or is it that i missed some branch where that is explained?
Simple yet beautiful. I got goosebumps when the lightning flashed and the reaper was revealed.
I love/hate the game for being so fun/hard. Need moar bombs >_<
Game was decent, with solid mechanics, but i felt the use of the theme was a bit weak :/

@fullmontis: If it's crashing on start then please try installing the xnafxredist that is mentioned in the description and then trying again. I will also be releasing a web port for it soon.
@Gungnir: No, i'm afraid there's no way to restart it from within. When the gameplay was finally completed, i was too tired to add a menu system :/
@X-Or: Survival matters not, what matters is how you choose to die :P
@tobbez: That's definitely needed as there are multiple endings, but I didn't get a lot of time during the jam due to life getting in the way, and barely completed the game as it is.
@Ekilibr: I had written a terribad piece of code for wrapping text, and couldn't use rectangles for checking mouse input due to that, so had to hack that too :P
@Nelien: Well, it is the world's most powerful graphics processing chip :P
I had originally made it in XNA as I do not remember javascript/html very well, and did not want to try something new as I had other things happening over the weekend as well.
Ported it after the jam to unity for the web player, as I could use the same c# scripts with only small modifications for displaying text. And yes, I had not planned to make a text game, but that was the only decent idea i could think of with the theme, so :P
I can't get past the swamp monster. Or the mushrooms. :( Too hard for me.
The only word that comes to my mind after playing this game is "Beautiful". I love the way you've used the theme with a simple story but still created something that's deep.
Loved the game! Will play again on my phone.
Especially liked the risk/reward gameplay of waiting for 200 points.
This is interactive art at it's best.
Really loved the graphics and how we get different levels each time, but the controls could use a bit more polish, and if the bullets stood out more (brighter or something), it would have been easier to dodge.

This was beautiful. Everything merged perfectly - he music, the simple graphics, and the fluid motion. And it all ended with a great message.
I liked the gameplay, and the 8 bit music is also pretty nice, but i think the difficulty is quite unforgiving, and the high iteration between two plays of the level disengaged me from the game.
It's so hilarious and scary to face judgement. The funniest game i've played till now in the jam.
The font isn't showing properly, and I can't read anything. The game looks really interesting so how can i fix it?

High iteration times make the game extremely frustrating >_<. Other than that it's pretty great, although i was only able to beat the East boss.
The west one i beat through a fluke, which i still don't know how it happened. South one is too painful to try after 10 times.

It is such an awesome game O_O I was totally hooked. Even though the use of the theme was weak, the gameplay, graphics and atmosphere were great.
It's quite funny, and the idea shows promise, but it felt a bit too shallow and short.
Visuals were fun! Gameplay was pretty rad too. Couldn't see what my score was anywhere though

The concept was quite cool, and the art style is amazing!!
But I found the colors for selection slightly confusing. Would be a bit better if the selected character stepped forward or something.
The mechanic feels slightly clumsy, but is quite fun and promising. Excellent graphics, audio and feel. It would be a lot better if you added player life and other such gamey stuff as otherwise it feels more like a polished prototype than a game.

@Benjamin and @ProfessorRekyl: After play testing so much, I was finding it a little too easy and so bumped difficulty across the game in the last few hours of the compo :P
@Panda: I'm not very good with instruments or those procedural sound making tools to come up with anything decent :|. Will probably add some up in a post compo version.
@RockhopperGames: I did want to show arrows or stuff for that, but forgot about it after spending over 3 hours dealing with some silly physics bugs :P
And yeah I really need to learn how to use them music generation tools. Hopefully i'll get some time to add some cool tunes in a later version.
That is such an amazing game!!! I can't think of a single thing in the game that's not spot on. You've got a clear winner here :D
Super creepy O_O... The first few times when the monsters got spotted were quite terrifying moments.
But after a while they started bugging out or something and 3-4 kept getting caught on the same causeway simultaneously. It would be a lot more awesome if they were a bit sparser, but chased us more actively.
Way too hard ._.
The art style and music are both amazing, but even though I love difficult platformers, I found your game just too frustratingly hard due to the bouncy nature of the cube.
I think a less steep difficulty curve that helps ease the player with bouncy controls would do loads of good to the game.
Such a clever mechanic!!! Would love to see a full version with tons of content. 5 stars for innovation!
The movements seemed to be a bit glitchy and the character slided a bit. Other than that a pretty great game!

Was a bit too easy game. You can try sprucing up enemy variety, or have a more mazelike level structure where you have to choose who to fight and who to avoid to survive.
Really liked the way you used the theme, and the recoil added a fun twist to this kind of gameplay.
I could only get to around 4k data. A good concept, would love to see it developed further.

The best use of the theme that i've seen till now in the LD. A truly inspired game with great promise, my only annoyance was that the controls weren't very intuitive as our speed is quite different between walking and jumping. And the climb was very frustrating due to that reset point. Could only get past it after reading foolmoron's comment
