I forfeited at level 22; those lower left platforms are evil. Generally levels with a lower starting position were much harder.
The limited flight is fun.
The graphics are cohesive but not very exciting or expressive. The resolution seems maybe too high for the gameboy style.
A solid entry, nice job!
Thank you!!!
Pretty decent, especially for the time put in. Biggest flaw is that holding up will eventually make the screen itself scroll (though that may have been just on the site you hosted it on.
Funny! I love the retro graphic design! :D
Simple but fun. Nice work!
Great job with the theme. The flying mechanic is really fun. I gave up on 18... so tricky.
Thanks for all the comments!!! If anyone have problems with the scroll, download the desktop version (the link is below the html5 version, the download game rectangle).
I am going to suggest that you don't host your games on Gamejolt, Gamejolt sucks. Choose another free solution like Google Drive. Also, you should use .preventDefault on your game's keyboard input event handler function, as the page kept scrolling up when I pressed up to fly.
Great game, I love the vintage-gameboy-colors thing you did here!
One of my fav!Love it for many reasons :)
@drnick: I don't know why do you think that Gamejolt sucks, I find it fantastic!!! (Anyway, I respect your opinion). And I use Game Maker. I'm not sure if .preventDefault is a GML code ,a html one, or a code of another engine, but I'll try it later. And I'm searching another host for hosting the game on the Ludum Dare. Thanks for your suggestions!!!
@farwyler: Yes, I'm also a fan of the gameboy 4-pallete :)
@thopis: Thank you for your comment!!! I'm glad that you liked it. :)
I love how you made this tiny graphics work, nice game. "I believe I can fly..."
Love the graphics, awesome game-play
Quite a fun game! I really like how you used the theme by introducing new obstacles every level to make the game tougher!
Nice job, It was fun to play this game =)
Level 18. Darn. I can't go beyond this!
Nice game, i liked the gameboy graphics, good job :)
cool game. Fun even I didn't pass the level 18...
(I had slow problems but it seems I am alone...)
Nice graphics and gameplay! I unfortunately couldn't get past 24. The floating guy is insanely frustrating.
Wasnt sure how to kill people, but I liked the style of it! I Included it in part 15 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/feGcEIoOFjA
@Jupiter_Hadley: Enemies are unbeatable. That's part of the difficulty of the game :P
@Omiya Games: Thank you for the video!!! Why no one can complete level 18?
@The rest: Thank you for your comments!!!
This was fun, and the progression of difficulty was really nice. I had some serious lag issues though (on firefox)
Concept it great. graphics are cute. I didn't expect it to be that challenging. I could go to stage 17 and not further.
Really fun game here! Nice way to use the theme, and the simple 8-bit graphics and sounds just rounds it up! :D ragequit at level ~15
Cool game play and idea! Nice puzzle elements!
Sometime it feels like you need to start at the right time to past throw.
Try and error until you you find it.
Well made!
Pretty nice! I gave up with the web version on level 3, mainly because the game was so freakin' slow. I then downloaded the desktop version, which was a lot better. The limited flight mechanic is really nice! I eventually gave up after trying level 7 (I think, it might have been 12 or something) about 20 times. Because I could not kill the little enemies, it became EXTREMELY hard to land on the platforms to recharge my flight. Very good overall, but the sharp difficulty spike makes it too difficult for my liking in the later levels.
I loved the tiny duck character. I could watch his walking animation all day.
Creative idea with gradually adding enemies to the same level.
