Beautiful art. Good job
First rhythm-assassin game I've ever seen! Neat concept!
Thank's, guys. We've been working hard, but that was our first game, do it is kind of jittery)
Very beautiful game, very great experience!
This game is pretty cool, the graphics/animations seem off, and it wasn't really all that difficult, but a nice idea nonetheless.
Haha, I loved the failure animations! I wish there was more feedback while you were pressing the buttons as to whether or not you were hitting them correctly -- although at the same time it was a little more exciting to watch the action when you weren't sure if you did it right.. so maybe it's ok as is?
Nice entry :D, like the idea behind it, fun dialog and entertaining to see how the final ninja animation flows, good job :).
Very beautiful art, but it's very very hard to control from the start... do you really expect me to remember all theses inputs in that short amount of time ?
Short, but fantastic art! Wasn't sure exactly when to hit the arrow keys at first, but afterwards it was pretty easy. A few spelling mistakes here and there, but nothing too egregious. Nice job!
Concept is cool and I really like the look/art. I don't think there are enough cues for the rhythm and it's difficult to know when to start hitting the arrow keys so I kept failing.
The art was beautiful.
I failed the first few times because I wasn't sure where/when I was supposed to input the arrows, but eventually I figured it out. Maybe an indicator would help.
Thank you for the game! It's a really innovative setup, which I liked a lot. I had some trouble figuring out just when I was supposed to hit the keys, so some more feedback would have helped with that, but after I figured it out I was really impressed by the amount of effort you put into the graphics and creation of unique scenes. Cool concept.
I couldn't figure out how to actually time the keys, so I was stuck losing repeatedly.
The speed at which you need to click on the button creates an atmosphere of rapid elusive ninja.
It is not necessary causality and deceleration.
I'll wait for post-jam.
Very innovative, never seen a rhythm game synced up with cool animations quite like that!
The falling cherry blossoms were beautiful, and the character animations were incredibly detailed.
I don't seem to be able to play this game, and I don't know why. I pressed the arrows, used WASD, and never understood exactly if my input was being taken into account. I need a little more feedback, something like in beatmania, where you get "Bad", "Good", "Excellent", to say you how close you were.
Other than that, the game seems pretty good and it's a nice concept.
muramasa, thanks for feedback. Yes, our game lacks user-friendly interface. Unfortunately we didn't managed to finish all our ideas in time. Arrows are the right controlls, but the point is to press right keys as arrow pitures hit the ground.
This is a really neat concept, but it's a little difficult to know when to push the buttons. If you work on it further, I suggest putting a bar that indicates when you're supposed to hit it. (:
Yep, thanks. I've thought about that. The sad thing is that there already is one ;) (( But it doesn't seem to good well. I guess, it should be animated.
Cool idea, mixing DDR rhythm gameplay with a sort of fighting game narrative. I like the graphic style as well. I wish there was more feedback when hitting the buttons, I never know if I'm getting it right. At least a little visual flourish around the actual arrows to indicate a correct key press would have been good. Cool though!
need more feedback when you do the right thing!
NInjaaaa!
Very nice to play, and the execution are pleasant to see :D. But where is the zone for arrow keys ? At the white line ?
This game is awesome! I love the concept. Not entirely on theme though, imo.
One flaw is that when you should hit the arrow and whether you have hit one are not very clearly indicated. Others are good.
I absolutely love the effect of falling cherry blossom petals. It is beautiful! Audio is also very good. The game mechanics also has some innovation in it.
Lovely art, especially the floating pink petals. Character animation is also good.
