Stationary based weaponry for the win.
Nice small game, too bad the gameplay is really clunky, making the game not very enjoyable. The voice-over is quite epic though!
Love the humor / audio :)
Controls were... a bit stiff... But hey, in case of a zombie attack, why get off the chair we're sitting on? :)
The game became pretty easy if you just stay in a corner and kill the entire world population that comes through :)
Made me smile, thanks! :)
Love the audio, bloody hilarious. Not sure what the point of the staple gun is, perhaps that's part of the humour. After successfully stunning the zombies by working at the desk long enough, game slows to a horrific crawl as the zombies flash and do nothing. Eventually, they disappear and become stars, but that process took minutes and seemed to involve no user input at all (I could move, but only at the slowest rate perceivable). And then they became ghosts and I instantly died. I tried having the patience to wait though the "flashy zombie part" but I just didn't.
Still, very enjoyable, put a smile on my face.
Movement was not fun at all. Silly, funny game though. Like how you explained controls.
This was cute, and the voice acting is awesome. ;) I also liked that moving backwards moves you faster, just like in an actual office chair. I had some problems though...First, what are you actually supposed to do? "Complete your work", which means you hang out at your desk, I think? If that's the case, you need some sort of progress meter or hint that the player is actually getting toward a win state. The second thing is that the WSG is in the cabinet, okay, but once you go over there and get it you're in a state where you're surrounded by zombies and unable to get out from behind them. And since the weapon doesn't actually HURT the zombies, there's no way to win. So, you know, I wanted to like it but I'm not sure it's playable...
Best voice acting in a Ludum Dare entry I've ever seen. It pains me that I couldn't seem to kill the zombies and just ran out of staples. Wanted to hear more!
