Love how the things blow up when you miss the building!

Really fun game but the camera spinning gets a little dizzy after awhile.

Pretty cool and original tower building game! I went all the way to 150m, it looks like there is no end? I tried to get my gas elements to fall on the cars waaay down below which was super fun.

Made me think of SimCopter. Just missing some sort of objective.

Great job!

I played this for far too long.

The art is really charming, watching the cars go by is a nice touch and your skyscraper actually starts to look legitimately satisfying in a cool way as it gets taller.

However I feel like I missed instructions because I had no idea what was going on. I didn't know what "tolerance" was and that it was basically my health and I had to figure out the mechanics over the game. I thought (incorrectly) that the beams were good and the red things were bad, rather than both being good. I thought this because when I threw the red things on the ground they exploded and because 'tolerance' dropped so slowly I didn't seem to be penalized for my failure. Eventually when the tolerance began to drop more quickly I realized my mistake and corrected my actions.

This game has a fun sort of appealing chaos to it. As you mess up there are burning helicopters and fires around on the ground. That said I only crashed one helicopter (because I didn't understand the game).

I feel like this game could actually be deeply satisfying with a few small-ish tweaks.

First, it's way too long per play session. I was playing for like 10 minutes before I lost. I don't know if it's my playstyle (trying to release the stuff almost immediately) or that's how the game is tuned.

Second, I feel like you're battling the camera angles more than anything. If the helicopter was moving parallel to the camera and the camera locked positions when the helicopter arrived this would actually be a really satisfying game about "flicking" cargo onto a building that I think people would really enjoy.

Overall a really cool base for a game. I feel like it might not review well because it's got a few flaws, but it actually has really cool potential and some seriously impressive art given the time frame. Nice job!

What a funny way to build a skyscraper! Timing the drops was a lot harder than I was anticipating but you definitely get into a rhythm with the different types of building material. I really like this concept and how it shows your successes in the form of the building and your failures in the form of all the destruction left below! I dropped sooooo many bricks ahahah! Great job!

I like the idea and I love the little touches that are abound in the game - the variety of stuff that you can miss and wreak havoc with is charming. Watching the inferno from way above is satisfying, if in ways counter to the success of the game :)

There is very little sense of urgency or direction - it shouldn't take me a long long time of pressing the spacebar mindlessly while trying to lose, to lose. Losing the game should go a lot faster, and winning, or persisting in the game should feel like it takes skill. The player has too much "health", or tolerance, I don't know why it's called that, or why it's not displayed more obviously. It should be.

The way the choppers approach the tower, it's a crapshoot to see whether the rope is swinging in the right direction, so it feels like it's half luck until you wait for long enough, which is a really boring "strategy" if you're trying to play to score. I would suggest some kind of camera change that allow the player to feel like they're getting information that is useful. Similarly, the mechanics of the swing could do with some more feeling that the player knows what's going on, or has influence over what's going on.

I second everything @ian-kettlewell said above too :) I really like the idea, hope it goes further :)

Love the animation on the tower. Game too repetitive for me. Sorry.

@jakub-panek Great idea and loved the graphics but camera placement is a little messy.Though enjoyed the game

thegunmaster 2018-08-14 10:47

The constant rotation made me a bit dizzy (Which I get easily) so an option of some kind would have been nice. Other than that it is a nice looking game, but probably would have worked best on mobile. It is rather simple for a desktop game.

aterlamia 2018-08-14 10:56

I really missed some kind of explanation what to do. Also the camera was a bit hard and made it for me less fun. But it is a very original idea.

dragongino 2018-08-14 10:59

fun game to play and easy to play too the only thing I would ask is to turn the camera rotation somewhat slower.

paulloz 2018-08-16 11:22

First and foremost: I could not play more than two minutes to your game because this camera rotation made me really dizzy. Please don't do that.

The idea is great and the art (both graphics and music) are neat. However the game may feel a little too luck based. I did not have a great feel of satisfaction when achieving things nor a great feel of failure when I missed. Also you really need to introduce your game mechanics to the player because here I was dropped out of nowhere in this game with a gauge in the upper right corner, a *“tolerance”* number in the middle and no clue what those were about.

I feel that it would not take much to enhance the game experience though. It mostly is fine tuning and/or rethinking small parts of the games to make it more enjoyable.

Still a nice entry

The spinning camera made it hard to judge where the stuff are related to the tower, but with a little timing I could throw the stuff on the tower even before the heli arrived with it. I'm not sure how the theme fits the game, but it's not bad

stefan-jovanovic 2018-08-19 18:50

Idea is really nice and graphics are awesome! The gameplay is hard, but enjoyable! Keep up the good work!
