LD48 — Deeper and deeper

LD48: Down the Rabbit Hole by LMB 2021-05-14T21:33:57Z

Integrated tutorial level is a amazing idea. I liked the core gameplay weighing multiple choices is always a solid idea. One thing that I found missing was lack of visual/audio feedback on attacks, both player atacking bugs and bugs attacking player. Sometimes it was hard to track whenever the attacks were actually doing anything. Good job nonetheless

The game looks stunning, the music is also very nice and fits well. While the idea of not really visible platforms is interesting, I would not say that it made the game a good platformer. It's a good mix of platforms and logic game though. Maybe if the platforms were more closely following contours of gorgeous background, it would be more interesting to play.

Neuro Diver by gimmers 2021-05-16T21:49:06Z

"Neuro Diver? YES" - this summarizes all I want to say about this game. Core gameplay is fun, it's challenging yet playable. Everythig is wrapped in a gorgeous package of music and captivating artstyle. But those dreaded spikes! They are the least fair enemy. The initial cutscene was cherry on top. Great job!

Into the Dark by twoshoedlou 2021-05-16T21:36:27Z

Very much liked the art style, the way the lights mix with surrounding ocean is really pretty. The ambient also helps with the mood aspect. The enemies were not really a problem. I did a second run without shooting any harpoons (pacifist mode :) ) and still managed to find the treasure.

Fun little game. Some animations would definitely help with the gameplay, since it was hard to tell the progress of breaking a tile.

Yup, copied wrong link. Also, I've noticed that MSVC redistributable was missing, so that's fixed too.
