Overall I was really impressed with the gameplay. It's a simple concept done well. My only regret is that the story didn't play out longer than it did.

pusty 2016-12-12 19:24

Great! Would love to play it further haha

mediocrity 2016-12-12 19:29

Really well made! Great art and story!

artsicle 2016-12-12 19:38

Like it!

ccglp 2016-12-12 19:44

Love the visuals, a pity than the game wasn't longer

maxamaden 2016-12-12 20:03

Wow. This game was really quite impressive, especially since it's so deceptively simple! The cel-shading looks super cool too. Keep up the great work!

wevel 2016-12-12 20:06

Really nice graphics, could do with being longer

paidgeek 2016-12-12 20:18

Nicely done. Loving the detail of the cell. Really good looking models.

matthewpalaje 2016-12-13 10:41

I really enjoyed the art style and the story. It was fun to play and to follow along with the narrative.

The only problem is that there wasn't more!

If you continue to develop this it would be awesome to have more then once choice in a situation. Being able to ask others what they did and discussing unique solutions would be so much fun!

Amazing job! Also thanks for the feedback on my game :)

split82 2016-12-13 10:46

Nice graphics and smooth gameplay. Well done.

phaix 2016-12-13 11:37

Great! Really Liked it!

tomdeal 2016-12-13 15:25

very good artwork! Really impressive for 48 hours. Unfortunately I got stuck when on day 8 when I somehow kicked the chair away, and then it would not let me complete my task? Other than that, it is great!

rainssong 2016-12-13 16:00

Somehow I want die in the room...lol

dev-dennis 2016-12-13 18:03

I liked the setting of the game. I got stuck after picking up the rope and couldn't get any further. But I saw the lets play afterwards. I must have missed the hook.

I like the concept, but I think the puzzles could use some work, right now it's mostly read what to do, and then do it. It's really impressive would you created I also like the graphics, a bit too much AO for my taste :)

Cheers

quiv 2016-12-13 22:52

Very cool little game, especially the art! Well done :)

dejvo 2016-12-14 07:46

nicely done. although, it didn't make sense to sleep that often. and, in 34 days, he did nothing?

ghostik 2016-12-14 13:17

Thank you guys :) I`m really happy that you enjoy playing it.

kualitygames 2016-12-14 14:18

I loved the artstyle, nice twist you had there :)

almax27 2016-12-14 14:42

Simple but very well implemented idea. Love the graphics!

pepejson 2016-12-14 15:04

Great lookin game. The story is perfect :D

hadesfury 2016-12-14 15:26

Nice

bodsey 2016-12-14 16:10

I think the art is great. The texts got a bit messy some times. Great job

jperlin 2016-12-14 18:02

The game looks great!

lisnic1990 2016-12-14 19:10

Good art!

karlipoppins 2016-12-14 19:28

I just loved the cartoony graphics/style, thanks for providing a timelapse as well. Nice little puzzle! I was stuck at one point until I figured out I just needed to sleep again :) I thought the rope would be the end of me lol
Really great job

kawaiineko 2016-12-14 21:04

Beautiful mood. Great light choice for the scene. The game play was simple but really well executed. Congrats

grandtheftmarmot 2016-12-15 02:40

Great looking graphics! I love the length you chose to make the game too.

peachtreeoath 2016-12-15 06:04

Even though it was short I was engaged the whole time. I was interested to see what kind of progression there would be as the days (years?) passed.

mighty-buxx 2016-12-15 17:28

Amazing game :) Style and gameplay so cool. Sounds are not quite well but that's okay. By the way we had similar idea for jam but we refused it.

ghostik 2016-12-15 17:48

Thanks guys! :)
@Ygogo - I agree that sounds are nothing special. I am not very good with audio, so I just generated them with BFXR. But they still ended up better than I expected :D
I am going to check your game right away. It looks really interesting :)

mighty-buxx 2016-12-15 19:40

If you'll need some sound for your next game, just write me - den33.info@gmail.com I'll be glad to make some sound design for you. :)

scorched 2016-12-15 22:01

Like the graphics and the ending!
The text is a bit annoying as when I turn the head it's immediately replaced by the other one, so I can't read it.

ghostik 2016-12-15 23:31

@scorched Yep.. the text is definitely a little bit annoying. I thought of a possible solution but there was no time left to start implementing it :/

Thanks! I`m happy that you like it! :)

tkachov 2016-12-16 05:01

Not bad, looks great, but it doesn't really give the mood. I think some ambient music/sounds would've make it better.

stylo21 2016-12-16 09:35

I'm impressed by the art style, good job!

2016-12-16 11:06

oh! Nice! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo.net! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)

erikiene 2016-12-16 11:50

I think the most amazing thing to me is the fact that all of the scene is set up using only unity primitives by what i gather from the source, just cubes and cylinders.. amazing. Also, I couldn't get my lighting right in my own entry, this does it so simply yet looks so awesome.

Good work man!

ghostik 2016-12-16 12:56

@Greek85 Sorry but I won`t be posting there.
@erikiene Thank you! There is also a timelapse link in the description if you would like to see how it was put together. Cubes are something very dear to me :D It`s a style that I developed over time. Simple primitives + almost no textures. Sorry that the Unity project file is such a mess :D

garethiw 2016-12-16 17:57

Lovely graphics and overall style, well done.

erikiene 2016-12-16 20:31

Ha! Won't lie - it's horrible!

I'll check out the timelapse and once again - great work, would attempt suicide again.

zettelkasten 2016-12-17 21:08

10/10, would be imprisoned again.

doxm 2016-12-18 10:19

I love it!!!

norrimo 2016-12-18 19:40

I made a X and finally this game. Yeah! :D
Youre art style ist wonderfull. But I think the ambient occlusion level can be less.
As I saw your galow I search after an other way to escape and than came this little bomb.
And your game exit with your escape was a great idea. :)

ThijsTak 2016-12-19 11:34

Loved the gameplay and graphics.

thatsnillet 2016-12-19 18:38

Let's start with the bad: It is short. Otherwise it is a really enjoyable LD game. That unexpected moment made was a good addition giving the story more depth.

devastus 2016-12-19 20:00

Super impressive stuff for 48h even if it is simple!

Very pleasing graphics, smooth gameplay, a nice little story and I liked the SFX too. Only thing it could have used is maybe some ambient music to get the mood just right, but that's me nitpicking about stuff and 48 hours is a very short time to achieve all that. Amazing work!

jupiter_hadley 2016-12-21 16:42

Lovely graphics, very interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/OCZRRN3xYEY

mrwillowb 2016-12-22 05:56

nice game.

maekeruu 2016-12-24 05:10

Awesome take on the story!! Simple but gave me realizations in life!

minato4th 2016-12-26 17:23

You done great job and create very good prototype. I think this can become a big game, there is so many things what can be included )

alobker 2016-12-30 19:56

Holy crap, it look gorgeous!

jupiter_hadley 2017-05-04 23:29

I also included this game in an article of my favorites! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-37-gwqmcmek
