That main menu! Almost burned my retinas off :knife::eyes:

I think level 8 was hardest for me, with all the cars going both ways and such low life.

The game is crazy and I think that's just how you wanted it! The graphics and sound fit that just fine too!

It took me a while to understand I could damage the tents in the final level, as they don't show any reaction to being hit the first few times. That would be my one suggestion! That and a warning before that menu screen :laughing:

What did I played? The Mainmenu is very trippy and the Font is a bit too hard to read. But the game was really cool and made some fun. It was several times I thought "What the Heck?" And I liked it in is own way :D Well done, keep going

A very interesting game. I would've added a timer on each level so that after you kill all the wolves (i think?) that you can't just go around and collect all the UFOS (i think?)

I loved the timelapse; so many lines of code! It's amazing you do this purely in VS, with no underlying engine. All the elements were great; sound, gameplay, challenge, etc.. I loved the chaos of certain levels too! Fantastic job.

The game is very diverse, each level differentiates itself from the others. Sadly there's too much going on for me, like it all seems a bit random sometimes. Maybe it would be better (but harder to design) to have fewer enemies, that are either more intelligent or deal more damage, because then you wouldn't be overwhelmed by all that is happening on screen. Other than that, well I liked your game, I liked, that you even had a level menu (but yeah restarting the same level on a death would still be better I guess :). Also the idea of an introduction for each level was cool, but the "The green path will guide you" thing annoyed me after a time. The different colors for the fonts was a bit confusing, because I didn't get what each color stands for, so I suppose it's just randomly chosen. Nice idea on trying to escape as a fox. Easy and responsive controls for the fox, good job!

Very cool game and super hard, I loved it!! Butter smooth animations and you can definitely feel the custom engine behind it. Really awesome to see so much work done in just 48h. Awesome job!

Level 4 omg what was that! That was the most fun.

Logically speaking, it was a little hard to follow and at first I couldn't understand why the wolves were dying when they touched me and then suddenly my health was in the thousands and then I was managing to pick up buildings and lampposts and have them spin above my head and everything was crazy, but I guess that was the point, so it was pretty fun.

The sound was great and the graphics too - the fox was adorable and the wolves were very funny. Great work!

Ok, that was strange :D

The logic of when the wolves would die was a little odd, I couldn't figure it out. I also thought it was a bit punitive to go all the way back to the start of the game when you die.

The small fox graphics and animation was really super cute! The controls were pretty much on point, the sounds never got annoying to me, the mood was good. I liked it, albeit it was a bit hard :D

@hunttis you go all the way back to the beginning of the game? I know the character marker does because I ran out of time to place it on the most recent beaten level. *shrug* it's a great idea and would improve the level selection screen a lot! :D

heh, first thought its a bad game, but it was really fun once I started doing the levels loved the relaxed approach of picking up anything lol, the colliders. Btw wolfes get stuck in the river

good game! I like the sprite work, especially with the fox.

At first it was visually confusing, but after a while I was able to pick up what was going on.

You know what, I absolutely love it! I wished there was an option to restart a failed level instead of returning to main menu, but the amount of stuff happening in the game is astounding. Please, never stop making gems like these! And wow, I remember playing Kelly's Marvelous Adventure during that jam!
