Nice game!
My remarks: I'm don't understand at start where my tower is appear. Mini Map is working strange, or I'm dumb to use it :P. Without cheat sheet is hard to figure out recipes.
Graphics is cool! Good job!

Nice game. But controls are imperfect - I think letting player using action key instead of mouse would be better.
Other than the click spamming it was really a great idea!
I thought it was a great idea. Balance seemed about right. It'd be nice to have some more information on the mini map, like how close the enemies are to the house. Good job!
@Serious07 Towers are crafted directly under you (on the nearest grid square) as soon as you click the craft button. I realize it would be better to place it with the mouse but I never got back to implementing that before I ran out of time! The mini map was made because it was very difficult to find the center of the map again once you went too far out!
@ab200 @patvanmackelberg thanks for the feedback on mouse input, after playing a few full games without my development cheat codes on I completely agree.. Once you get the metal tools, it is only one click :)
@merrak thanks!
@patvanmackelberg I agree about the click spamming, would rather it be a take x amount of time to mine. Other than that, it was great. Really enjoyed the gameplay.
Thumb up, man, nice work!
Nice game. Took me awhile to realize there was a tower defense to the game the first time lol.
Iām not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
At first I wondered around collecting resources until my map started going red. I didn't realize I would need to stay near my house.
Interesting concept on TD, needs lots of polish, but it's still fun.
Fun game. Confusing to build towers though
You nearly stole my soul with that game. Really fun. Great entry.
Somehow resource-gathering fit right in with a tower defense game. Solid execution -- if this were an Android game, I could really see myself killing some time on my commute with it!
I saw a few entries like this however yours was one of the more better well-executed ones. Also I appreciate the web availability.
Cool concept, it's definitely something that has the makings of a good game. I like how simple it was to pick up and get crafting things. Well Done!
Good concept, crafting and TD. With better graphics and more polished gameplay could be a nice game.
Pretty decent entry, would be good if it was faster and crafting was more clear IN the game and not on the webpage.
I enjoyed this game so much - It fits the theme so well. And the simple graphics work well, most importantly the gameplay is super fun. I have a few points to improve;
- Would be nice to see your castle health at all times - A wave system would be cool - Some way to view controls once you start the game (I had to restart too see them)
Awesome game, well done š Screen Shot 2018-04-26 at 00.06.23.png
Very fun game, thank you! Would have loved a different way of mining. Something like holding down space to mine or something but other than that it was a blast!
Good job with your game. I had a similar mash-up of genres and I like your approach on this one. The risk factor of having to leave your base in order to get the higher tier resources worked well. I would have liked a way to see the progress of enemies on the mini-map since it would help to inform the player when it would be good to return and build more defenses. Also I liked the simple art of the trees and rocks. ld pic.png
I liked it...
Had fun playing it! (Though I'll probably get an RSI for all that clicking š) If I understood correctly, you spend well less than 48h to develop your game, which explains the lack of polishing here and there, but overall the game is really well-made. My main concern is probably that when I am on the field collecting resources I lose the sense of what is happening back home. Maybe that's part of the idea (I felt indeed a bit anxious to return and see how things were going there), but I didn't enjoy this element very much.
But great game, really! Congrats!
I scored 608 on medium. I thought it was fun, and it was well-designed. Without an extra layer of polish with more sound/effects, the clicking got pretty tedious-- I think that would be the area to work on making more fun, for me at least it was where I spent most of my time in the game. Overall, nice work!
