The link you have to itch.io doesn't seem to be working.

pillowpillow 2018-04-24 01:36

Sorry about that. Have changed the link, hope it works.

blazedragon 2018-04-24 02:52

yeah link is not working, looks like a good game though, would love to try it.

milkshake 2018-04-24 03:38

Very interesting concept! The graphics is cute, and the idea of switching souls is pretty cool. The puzzle is a little hard to understand. Great work after all!

shelvid 2018-04-24 06:06

Really pleasing visuals, slightly confusing but good puzzles. solid animations.. well done!

pillowpillow 2018-04-24 23:29

@nicksmaddog @BlazeDragon Thank you guys, link has been fixed, hope you can enjoy it😃

pillowpillow 2018-04-24 23:43

@MilkShake @Shelvid Thank you for playing it. The puzzle was intended to be like nerve impulse but I failed to make it more clear. So glad you are not tired of it.

megrabbit 2018-04-25 00:46

This looks really cool, I wish I had a Windows machine to try it out on. I'll check back for a browser link in a bit.

connell 2018-04-25 00:49

I love the simple colour palate! gives it a better atmosphere and feel! it would be appreciated if you supported me and my team's game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/platscii

pillowpillow 2018-04-25 00:56

@Connell Thank you! It looks great! Gonna try!

connell 2018-04-25 00:58

thanks

Very nice game! Nice art. The story telling at the beginning was really cute, I loved the detail with it (like the spirit's facial expressions)! It made me smile :)

Of course, some music would have been nice, but as you mentioned, you were tight on time.

I would be super excited to play a full version of this! Puzzles with these mechanics could be really creative and fun to play, and these types of puzzles are totally up my alley!

Let me know if you're gonna make a post-event version, I would be very happy to play it :) _(I'll follow you, so I'll see any posts you make)_

Really like the hand drawn black and white style: Why cant I rate the Graphics?! Nice game also!

pillowpillow 2018-04-25 10:28

@NoahRo So glad you like it. This system is trying to realize how a brain maze works like an auto machine. It takes some time for me to think about how to attract players in a short time with it.

I've learnt much from this gamejam and will still working on it.

Thank you for your support, it helps a lot.

This is really cute! And a cool concept. I loved that intro a lot. Great job!

togis 2018-04-26 02:59

I played this game on stream last night, here is the VOD:

Thanks for making this game!

alchemic 2018-04-26 04:27

This is a really awesome concept. I would love to see more levels added!

acoto87 2018-04-26 04:35

Nice game, the concept is interesting. I like the simple graphics, music and sounds would be nice, tho. Good job!

caleblewis 2018-04-28 03:00

Fun game and interesting concept! It would be nice if we could see what each action was though before we actually use it.

patrickgh3 2018-04-29 00:34

Neat and cute game! When I saw the gif scrolling on the homepage I knew I had to play it later. It's a neat feeling to be controlling the cat and the bat like that. And the intro cutscene is charming. My main complaint is that the last level was pretty tedious for me. Once I knew the solution I accidentally jumped the cat off the edge to the right and had to restart, which was frustrating. Also it was frustrating to time the moving turret exactly with the shot; an indicator like a bar filling up to indicate the timing would help. It says "to be continued" - I think there's definitely potential for more content!

biterkid 2018-04-29 03:02

I like it! Really ncie, congratulations!

bros 2018-05-02 22:34

What a fantastic game! The visuals were stunning. How did you make the animations? What tools did you use other than GameMaker?

I loved the idea that you control the animals by solving puzzles on the "lower" screen. It has been implemented really good. Almost felt like a (3)DS game ヽ(´▽`)/

paula 2018-05-03 16:19

Great combination of genres, really interesting. I like a lot the art style and good job with the intro. I hope you continue with this game and add more levels.

finalspace 2018-05-03 18:41

Saw your post on Indienova. Game is well done, and the art is amazing! Good job!

roy 2018-05-06 01:48

very creative gameplay, the art style fits the game just right. I think maybe some background music will make the mood of the game much better. I wish to play a complete version of this game on Steam

pillowpillow 2018-05-06 07:09

@patrickgh3 Thank you for your comments. Sorry to reply so late. I can't agree more, because I didn't have time to DESIGN, but only put all I've done in this level, like the pressure plate, the cage, the auto-moving gun, and there ought to be some more mechanism in the last period of bat's flying. And I'm working on improving the maze so that player will not waste time just waiting.🤗

pillowpillow 2018-05-06 07:25

@Bros. I'm not good at drawing really, just found some clips of cat and draw after them frame by frame, There're idle, sleep, walk and jump for cat. Walk is a 12-frame animation, the others are way more simple.

I prefer Aseprite when making animations.

sfey 2018-05-06 09:46

Sweet game, really liked the art and the idea. Wasn't able to finish second level, got the bat to move and so on, but I guess I missed something. Good job! :)
