This is so much fun. I kept setting the players and the ball on fire on purpose just cuz I could. Great job!
This is rad! The sound effects are hilarious. :)
I don't think you quite captured the combined themes - there wasn't really a sense that it was a racing game, but the music was great and I really enjoyed playing it.
This is definitely one of the best games I've played so far - it does a lot with the theme, and creates a super cool foundation for really sophisticated level design. I hope you continue to work on this. The character animations and timing could use some polish, and it might make sense not to put the jump/push button right next to the switch players button (I hit switch players by accident a few times). The music is incredible. I'm going to keep watching this one. <3
This is super funny. The sound needs work, but the story's great and it's super polished. I really had fun playing it!
I have nothing negative to say about this; it hit the theme, the music was great, the gameplay was awesome, the science twist was unexpected and hilarious. Great work, 5/5 all the way.
This is one of the most seamless incompatible game combos I've tried. The music transition between racing and fishing was great. This was super fun and I'll totally play it again when I don't have to race against myself. :)
Adding an emoji showing the cat getting more and more impatient would be great. The options screen is super funny. This is definitely something you could build on as a crafting style game, where the quests get more complicated and require multiple items to complete. Nice job!
OMG the yelling in the background makes this game for me. This is hilarious. I'm glad the game reassured me that it's okay if I'm not into girls.
This is great - the learning curve is really fast and the game gets harder over time at a mostly acceptable rate until it's way too crazy fast. The background music is good but made me feel like the captain of the ship maybe gets sad doing math. The sound effects rule also. Nice work. :)
Great job - this could easily turn into a STEM game for kids if you wanted to take it in that direction. :)
I wrecked 12 vehicles, which made me feel like I won even if I didn't. Sound effects would have added a lot to this, but I made those myself (picture me going 'SQQQUUUEEEEEEEEE-BOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRCCCCCHHHHHH!!!! when I crashed).
The concept's super funny! I played the html version and after a while I couldn't move anymore - maybe this is a bug, but I'm not sure. I know I wanted to keep punching people tho.
I had a blast trying this out. For some reason I couldn't score a single goal, even if it looked like my ball rebounded all the way to the other end, but it was still super fun. The graphics are great, too. Nice work!
I kept trying to find a goal I could put myself into. This is really fun, but it felt like something was missing. I hope you continue to develop this!
Once I figured out that you can't actually kill the enemies and you just have to avoid them, this was super fun. My high score's only 18 but I feel like I earned it. Nice work!
Please let me know when the HTML5 goes up, I really want to try this!
You already mentioned some things like adding audio and stuff that will make the game better, but as a stealth cooking game, this direction is right on the money. It would be great to have some more feedback when you finish the level, tho - I has to esc back to the instructions to figure out that I was supposed to leave. Also, the escape route could be clearer. It's a really good start tho, nice work!
^ I agree with the last comment. This has the potential to turn into a bigger game. The turn based mechanics are super cool and change the way you approach the game, it's less about rushing through and more about anticipating your next move. Very very well done.
This was really fun, and the quiz stuff was pretty frantic and challenging because to see the clue you have to stand near something that wants to kill you. I couldn't ever beat the ninja cats or whatever they were, tho, and kept having to start again from the beginning. I totally love the art style. Thanks for making a cool dungeon!
The concept is pretty cool, but I fell off the edge of the world the first time I played. A bit more hinting would be ideal. I like the music a lot.
I went too far out in the water because I thought I saw something in there, and also because of your name I thought maybe there'd be a shark. :P
I agree with the first comment - it's hard to focus on the rhythm ui and the gameplay at the same time. The music is fantastic, though, and the concept is a perfect mashup - it totally meets the theme requirement. I really enjoyed it overall. :)
This looks really cool, I wish I had a Windows machine to try it out on. I'll check back for a browser link in a bit.
This is freaking awesome.
This is amazing and I actually broke out a Windows computer just to play it. Great work!

Pretty good transition from 2D to 3D.
Our songs are almost done, you can check them out here: https://soundcloud.com/acroll/sets/ldjam-41
We should make it clearer that you can play any card, because the game is definitely more fun to play when you know that. :)
I've fixed the instructions up a bit so you can actually read them on the it.ch html5 build. Thanks for the music feedback - @acroll has never done LD before, and he's super new to making music. I think he did amazing!
Thanks for all the feedback, you guys. I'm gonna make sure I play all your games if I can (I'm on a Mac so I don't get to play the Windows only ones).
<3
I'm not sure what the rules are here, but your suggestions would be pretty easy to implement, @kleinzach - are we allowed to edit the game while it's being judged? I'm pretty sure people do, but I'm not sure if we're supposed to. :D
Thanks for letting me know @Coda-Highland - I think we'll leave it as it is (the only adjustments I made to the itch HTML5 were repositioning buttons so you could reach 'em, cuz not being able to click 'play' is a game breaking issue).
@Expendibleman and I make games that are motion and gesture controlled normally, so we're both really good at mouse and trackpad controls, but adding keyboard controls makes a ton of sense. Thanks!
@legavroche that's a really good suggestion - we may work that into the final game. I definitely want to make a mobile version with powerups and stuff, and a card switching powerup makes a ton of sense.
@GoodKenneth I don't even know if @expendibleman got a multiplier that big! Thanks for the screenshot, it makes us super happy!
@Plopsis thanks for letting us know - I'll take a look today and see if I can fix the volume slider.
@fasterthanlime hey thanks! We were also totally worried, but the challenge to find a happy medium between RNG and rhythm was too good to pass up. Really glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks @Richard N Silva - we're still working out how all the audio settings actually work in Unity, and I totally noticed that too. Glad you enjoyed the game!
@Mau - the short answer to your question is Not Enough Playtesting. :) We actually didn't gauge the songs. By the end, we just stuck them in.
@HPMNK and @BalladofSong thanks so much for the feedback. I think adding a learning level to this game would be really really helpful. Something with feedback, and more explosions and slower music.
@Moski that's really high praise coming from you guys. Your work is really inspiring. I've followed you on twitter and will keep an eye out for your projects. Thank you!
This game is beautiful. Also I wish this was my day job, I feel I'm really good at space fishing. Screen Shot 2018-04-26 at 7.42.16 PM.png

I could not get 200 points. This game is surprisingly addictive. I found the arrow keys really hard, but the music is great and it totally feels like something that would become really absorbing once I practice a bit. One of my favs so far.
I have no idea what's going on, really, or how to get gold, but I love the art style, and reading the comments, I'm pretty sure the issue is my unfamiliarity with the genre. I'm gonna try it again right away. The storyline's hilarious. :)
The 'draw before you get caught' idea was what came to mind for me, too. That would be a pretty amazing way to replicate the stress of art school assignments. :P
I really enjoyed the gameplay - it's simple but still super challenging. The powerups are a nice touch.
When we were tossing around ideas, a match 3 physics game came up and we were like 'wtf would that even be'. You totally did it, and it's great. Played it a few times. It's got a lot of unused space, and the power thing ending the game is a bit unintuitive, but the concept's amazing and it's super fun to play. Great game overall. I really enjoyed it!
Yeah I'm with your wife. I wanna fling more stuff around randomly lol. <3
The character's super cute. The audio needs a bit more work, but the text control system is surprisingly smooth. Great work. :)
One of the best games I've tried so far. It needs a bit of polish to make it more intuitive, but the game's got a lot of potential, and it's a truly unique concept. Nice job!
Did anyone else try to shoot the babies? Screen Shot 2018-04-25 at 8.28.39 PM.png
No one should hire me to babysit. Ever.
OMG this is so hard and good. The music's GREAT. When I have more time I want to play this for longer - it's definitely something you'd need to practice. Amazing work!
I totally won this game even tho I suck at both tower defence games and dating sims. This might explain my love life. Thanks for making this amazing game!
Great job! I got stuck at the end and couldn't get the last two meals without getting swatted. The story is cute and has potential. Thanks for making this!
I really enjoyed this, but also I play drums. It might be kinda hard to play this if you don't have a lot of experience with rhythm games. I agree with the feedback about making the response a bit less touchy, especially at first. The simplicity of the graphics and gameplay make this super addictive and fun to play. Great job. :)
I want to play this super bad but I'm on a Mac Any chance there'll be a WebGL build up later?
Just played it! It needs resizing, but other then that it's super funny. Borf!
