LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Golf N' Grenades by Imphenzia 2018-04-23T08:57:26Z

I love the idea, awesome job. Execution is a little messy, with the golf mechanics being very difficult but with a ton of content theres not much to complain about. There is a lot of potential here I would love to see this further developed if you have plans to!

The ability to strafe with Q and E would make lining up a shot much easier, maybe a power bar and some more conventional golfing mechanics could make this game truly shine.

Nicely done I enjoyed playing it.

Rhythm Jumper by Willops 2018-04-23T06:16:10Z

Awesome Job, I think theres quite a great game concept here! The rhythm added a refreshing take on the infinite jumper gameplay.

Having multiple music tracks is impressive considering the time limit, graphics while not matching the EDM styles of songs were quite charming in their own regard.

I did find it a little difficult to understand the beat timings maybe some slower easier song to begin with so I had time to learn the mechanics would have been helpful!

Spellbowl by Excy 2018-04-23T06:51:53Z

I really enjoy it, it's a combination you wouldn't expect to work, and it turned out interesting!

Some good concepts such a chaining spells with the runes make the gameplay quite varied, with deckbuilding-lite mechanics to feel like you are progressing really worked well.

The blood card seemed to be bugged in my play through, it says it heals for 1 but would heal me to full health. Not that I'm complaining made the game a little easier.

The waves got a little long nearing the end of the game and it started to feel a little sluggish.

Awesome job though, I had fun playing the game!

The Bonding of Isaac by batmanasb 2018-04-29T08:18:30Z

A charming and fun little game, love the idea. A little unfinished but enjoyed it anyway!

Rockin' Horse by niterich 2018-04-29T07:57:16Z

A little difficult to get the beat down but a fun idea with a decent execution!

Just Relax by plufmot 2018-05-03T08:53:11Z

One of the strongest implementations of the rhythm genre I've seen so far, well executed and fun to play! Great job!

Great job can totally see some massive potential for a successful phone app here. A little difficult learning curve but very solid entry!

Flappy Soccer by Teo SK 2018-04-30T14:56:10Z

Really enjoy the idea, not the biggest fan of the flappy genre, but the additional soccer element created a fresh take on a tired genre!

@Jonathan-Lorenz Sorry about the poor optimization, due to the time restriction I did what I could.

If you are still interested in playing the game; changing the quality settings down to low within the game (not on the unity launcher) makes a considerable difference and may make the game somewhat playable.

Thank you for the kind words even with being unable to play the game!

Hey cool first game, quite a large task for a Ludum Dare!

I noticed the controls were using AZERTY keyboard layout, a majority of keyboards use the QWERTY layout so next time you make a game maybe something to keep in mind.

Adding some smoothing to the camera would be nice as well.

Overall good job!
