That was really fun! It's a bit hard to interact with objects though. I think maybe you can't hold a direction and press space at the same time?

cursed game
That was a lot of fun! It reminds me of the old Trogdor game from long ago (-:
Loved it! Great puzzles and length!
Fun base-building game! It was really hard to figure out how to get going, but once you figure it out, and push through that early part, you can really start to build.
A small nitpick: The unit description text on web browser, in Firefox, is very small. I had to get really close to the screen in order to read it. It would be nice if it could be a little bigger.
Great job! The ads are really funny! :)
Hi, the mac version doesn't work for me. I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and the app simply refuses to open for some reason.
Amazing, especially the soundtrack.
What a beautiful game! Congratulations to the whole team on creating such an experience! Thank you!
Nice game! I died many times :pensive: I think it's a bit hard to understand how to survive longer.
One thing that seemed a little bit broken, though, was that reconditioning the lasers seemed to increase the resources, instead of costing resources. That sounds like it's unintentional?
Link doesn't show anything. You might need to set the project to "Public" on itch.io
Wow, so trippy! This was really unexpected and interesting! I liked it especially when the little player character in the window seemed to sync up with the original player character, so it seems like you're controlling them both at once. (And you are...)
It's mirrors all the way down.
Hey, this is an interesting idea! I'm looking forward to a version with a bit more levels. :-)
I can't seem to run the game. Are you sure you're distributing all the files someone needs to run it? Like `UnityPlayer.dll` and a `LockedInALoop_Data` folder.
Nice work! The voice acting is great! The hacking made me feel clever (-:
Really interesting characters and animation, and an innovative concept! Good job! The gameplay is a bit hard though, I couldn't get past the this one part with lots of tallats. Maybe reducing the difficulty will make the game more accessible.
It's a good start, but it's missing some feedback: am I doing well, am I going to die, etc. I really like where this is going though. Good job!
The game doesn't seem to load correctly. The unity player loads, but then the screen is blank forever. I'm running firefox on a Mac.
Wow, great job capturing the mood of being stuck & running out of oxygen! I got really scared when the audio started getting intense.
I want to second it not working on Mac. I'm on macOS Catalina, version 10.15.6. My guess is that this is a 32-bit app, but Catalina only runs 64-bit apps.
Wow, this game felt scary and intense... Really good job!
@gelisam Oh no! I'll look into that. In the meantime, you could install the LOVE framework from https://love2d.org/ and run **mouseherd.love** directly, without the app wrapper. Thank you for reporting the issue.
@mikoziq Thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to change up the control scheme a bit when I make a more polished version of the game. Thanks for playing!
@michael-parrish Thank you so much! <3
@fabdynamic Hehe, good job :-) Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback, and thanks for playing!
@swippydippydoo Thank you for the feedback!
@irwatts Yes, that was a major inspiration! Thank you for playing and for the kind words!
@dr-v Aha, thank you! I hope I made a good mix of levels -- some were just for fun, others are more puzzling. Thanks!
@thegreenman Thank you so much!
@arad-hamidsamiee Thank you! :)
@jonah Thanks!
@landypommel Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
@fractalsunrise Thank you!
@eugenik Ah, thanks!!
@armytag Thank you so much! It's really more of a timer, but it only starts ticking when you start moving in each level. (And you can exploit that a little bit ... but not too much.)
@nikolai-shkurkin Haha, yes! Thank you! 🧀🐁
@shelvid Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! You're definitely right. I sadly ran out of time to work on the audio.
Agreed, link is broken.
So, I think it has potential. The game as it stands is a little too hard. I think you could maybe tweak a few things to make it less difficult and more fun. One idea is to make "touching" the snake a little more lenient, for example, you would lose some health instead of losing instantly.
Another, bigger change would be to make the game about controling the snake, and less about avoiding it. E.g. make the game be about getting the snake to pick up some things, instead of having to pick things up yourself.
A fun thing I found out is that you can sort of keep the snake in place if you start going around it in circles quickly. That's kinda interesting! Maybe it's worth exploring as a mechanic.
Great job for your first time!
