The concept is interesting but not much is done with it. It's neat.

cottontshirtz 2019-10-08 03:36

I absolutely love all the little sculptures that appear. Are the other names that appear at the end actual other people who have played?

vincentvincent 2019-10-08 10:51

Yes! the end shows the others people who are playing.

barracudadisaster 2019-10-08 13:20

The idea is great. There's not much to it at the moment but I liked the shapes and the bounciness of everything. And it looked cool when the object grew and bounced from the "dream bubble". There's much potential in the mechanic.

ekin 2019-10-08 14:12

I like the game idea and art work. It is totally about the theme. Great work!

scott-steffes 2019-10-08 14:22

Strangely entrancing! Very fun game to mess around with, and great physics!

glowt 2019-10-08 14:37

This was so simple and sweet, really suck me in. It just left m with a really melancholic feeling and it is not often something so short and sanboxy give you that. Great art and a wonderful concept, keep making cool stuff like this. The only thing I am missing is sounds, I think you could have made some awesome stuff with some audio, not much just something for ambiance and immersion.

s-yanik 2019-10-08 14:48

Not really a game but a fun and cool time in a nice and very quiet place. Nice

ferdi 2019-10-08 14:49

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks. It's totally frustrating we couldn't add audio but we only had 50 hours or so to work on this. We will definitely update the game later with sounds as it will enhance the overall experience for sure.

torami 2019-10-08 14:57

Its not very enjoyable but its pretty cool, if you work on this a little bit more it could be a usable 3D planner

humphreysmedia 2019-10-08 14:58

Super hypnotic, love the low poly style. Maybe add a little bit of audio to completely trance people.

vatifasta 2019-10-08 15:35

The game is great! It will be cool if game would reward player with something and add some small linear story, that will bring more sense to the game!

danilo-freire 2019-10-08 15:39

Interesting and beautiful experience! Congratulations to the team. If the clickable objects were a little more interactive the game could hold the player longer.

pestodesign 2019-10-08 15:40

YEs, audio is missing, but still an interesting weird piece :)

ferdi 2019-10-08 15:44

@danilo-freire Thanks ! clickable objects can modify gravity, change lights, explode, scale up, change color and more. Please explore ! Also the end is happening after 3 minutes whatever you do.

alphaden 2019-10-08 16:13

The world looks great. Amazing innovation. The idea is great and was executed wonderfully.

siarhei-pilat 2019-10-08 16:31

Pretty cool. I don't think it fits Ludum Dare format because strictly speaking it's not a game. Although, I "played" it more than I am willing to admit. Curiosity killed the cat, as they say. I liked it, however I lowered the scores I'd normally give in this case because in my opinion this 'interactive experience' should not win LD. Other than that, good job, guys!

nachtwitch 2019-10-08 17:10

Cool idea for this LD jam, think it should have a bit more polish but it's still great

cral 2019-10-08 17:26

Gorgeous project, I love the idea of a dream space sandbox a little light on the 'game' aspect but very much enjoyed my experience!

sarizard 2019-10-08 18:09

Totally about the theme, relaxing and hypnotic experience

excy 2019-10-08 19:24

Interesting, some chill music would really set the atmosphere. Also some guy called Ferdi was throwing shit at me :(

inky 2019-10-08 19:38

This was a great experience! I liked trying to build blocks with my dream pieces, it was cool whenever the next new shape was weird or animated, I really liked the low poly style and the abstract arrangements reminded me of a lot of really weird and wonderful abstract 3d art. When the camera pulls out at the end and you see the other dreamers was also cool! Would be sweet if you could see what their dreams look like or something. Nice job!

ferdi 2019-10-08 19:51

@excy THX for testing. Will add some audio later. Also that was me throwing things. This is a discrete multiplayer experience and I randomly play the game to join some of your rooms :)

ferdi 2019-10-08 19:53

@inky Thank you !! Totally a great idea to be able to see other's dream. It's on the road map :)

pythooonuser 2019-10-08 20:59

Interesting shapes. Nice idea to display other players at the end. It would be nice to move the objects not only in a single plane, but in the full 3D space.

pythooonuser 2019-10-08 21:02

@ferdi This is really a multiplayer where you can throw stuff at players in realtime? That is really some effort you guys put in!

ferdi 2019-10-08 21:07

@pythooonuser Hey I really was live and connected to your room (I saw your name like 5 minutes ago). For now I can't control precisely what object is sent but ideally every player will soon be able to send specific shapes to his neighbors

croewens 2019-10-08 21:28

Great concept but felt a little ambitious. I know the feeling  Missed the sound for the overall "ambiance". Care to checkout my submission?

beefbone 2019-10-08 21:31

Very interesting experimental project, kinda reminds me of a modern art installment

ludumanthony 2019-10-08 21:44

Definitely unique

dans17 2019-10-08 22:02

I like how you managed to make such a cool art style out of just simple shapes. This would be great if you could make it a VR experience!

ferdi 2019-10-08 22:05

@dans17 Haha we are actually making a lot of VR so this one might come out some day. It's pretty heavy tho :)

bozarre 2019-10-08 22:09

Really poetic, and confusing too^^

bryvox 2019-10-08 22:16

I like the art style and think it's a really inventive way to use the theme. I'd be interested to check it out again with audio added, but it's relaxing and I enjoyed it :)

drjeebus 2019-10-09 00:02

Just a 3D art showcase, I don't think thats what this is for.

swanijam 2019-10-09 03:08

This is fascinating and beautiful

taylor-reynolds 2019-10-09 04:43

Hypnotic and wild! It feels like a virtual art installation.

finnthepirate 2019-10-09 09:53

Looks magical, love the idea. it feels like an art installation. I wonder how it feels to play it in VR. at the moment I think it's not possible but could be interesting to use a GAN algorithms with this game

gisam 2019-10-09 12:02

Really beautiful game, i like the experience, i think the idea of showing all the creations at the end is very nice. I'll go back to the page to see if you add audio at some point bravo!

randdir 2019-10-09 15:38

Not really my type but interessting entry ! keep it up !

ghust1995 2019-10-09 16:40

Wow! Really interesting, I kept wishing that those things made weird sounds to make this an even weirder and dreamy composition. I really really enjoyed how thing changed without very much explanation and having to figure out and just play. I love when people make their games be fun toys.

Good job!

ferdi 2019-10-09 17:08

@ghust1995 Thank you for your kind words. I absolutely love what you did for this jam. I'm adding sounds right now and will upload a v2 in the upcoming days.

matthewjd389 2019-10-10 01:09

Although I have no idea what just happened. I enjoyed it. nice job.

samuel-gendron 2019-10-10 03:07

missing some audio but loved the feel!!

glukoosi 2019-10-11 19:00

Very pretty 3D models, I liked it alot. :)

smileyface 2019-10-11 19:22

I'm honestly not sure what to think about this game other than I think I loved it. Also audio would have been a nice addition to the game I think.

drtizzle 2019-10-12 12:25

I like this one. Even if it has no (clear) goal, it is a calming experience. When I discovered that clicking objects made some of them do something, I tried to find out what all the objects did, and before I knew it the experience was over. It would've been nice if there was some sound, but overall a very solid entry!

ferdi 2019-10-12 14:34

@drtizzle @smileyface @samuel-gendron @ghust1995 @gisam @bryvox @pythooonuser @inky @excy @nachtwitch @pestodesign @dans17 @humphreysmedia @glowt @cottontshirtz @hellpug

A thousand thanks to all of you for your feedbacks ! 🖤 🖤 🖤 We are glad to announce that we uploaded a post jam version with sound effects and music ! Plus the multiplayer integration is now more obvious with the possibility for you to throw things at other players ! Please enjoy DREAMS once again :). -> https://dyfer.itch.io/dreams

greendinogames 2019-10-12 16:17

Outstanding and unique game. I like how it's presented! Well done!

vcesauron 2019-10-12 18:31

That's a very interesting and nicely executed 'gamy' experience. I would have no problems if it won LD at all, since it is... well... interactive!

I had a hard time moving the camera, as it prevented me from stacking objects in the exact way I wanted. Art and concept in this are pretty good.

hcursino 2019-10-13 16:44

That's a weird game. Neat concept and ambiance, it was fun to play with it for a while, good job!

dock-frankenstein 2019-10-13 17:07

A good sandbox.

eduardo-scheffler 2019-10-17 16:56

Nice job! Congrats for the dev team. I really enjoyed the graphics (:

sebastian-m 2019-10-18 02:05

Such a cool profound experience, the graphics were really good looking, love how expressive you guys could get with rather simple shapes. The audio enhance the experience quite a lot. ven though it's more of an experience than a game, it's still incredibly well made and you guys did an amazing job.

pedro-rosa 2019-10-18 18:31

I personally loved this experience. It was super fun to interact with all the object. I tried to make some constructions it was really cool. Congrats.

lexyvil 2019-10-19 00:54

This was very relaxing! In the end, I saw what I'm assuming were other players, but none of them had blocks laying around like I did.

lonewolfdev 2019-10-19 11:54

Wow nice idea! I love how you create what you want based on the thinking, and what you do it's completely up to you! Congrats!

itsdanidre 2019-10-20 03:04

Woah! Thanks for making!

There was so many things to do, even gravity affections; every dream seemed different.

Really sad though, it seems like everyone else dreamt of nothing

Capture43.JPG

ferdi 2019-10-20 16:22

@itsdanidre Thanks !! You need to play **while** someone else is playing this is a real time multiplayer experience. You can launch two instances of the game to try. cheers !

mashupgames 2019-10-29 12:26

Not really sure how to play this game, it just seems like dragging objects to me. Not my thing, but I'm sure other people would like it.
