Kind of wish the alien was a 2d sprite like everything else. Everything else is great tho!
@tikikala fixed now! ;) thanks for playing
good, thanks!
Wow, the alien expression is great! The movement it's great, not very intuitive, even frustrating, but I think it works great, but I was always surprised when I pressed espace where the beam appeared, always more on the back of the planet, and I had to drove to position myself again to make those flat humans dance.
great job!! The alien is lovely! and the basic mechanic is very well implemented!
The good graphics and such a great gameplay, but what can went wrong?))). I think the morse code typing sound is really annoying sometimes. but everything is great !
The art work for this game is fantastic and a very interesting concept! Well done guys!
I think yellow and orange are a bit to close together as colors sometimes, but that's perfectly fine. The game feels smooth and is fun to play! A bit gimmicky theme-wise, but a good job nevertheless!
The alien's facial expressions and the music are great!
Cool Entry ^^ at first orange and yellow is very hard to identify, but once i managed to save one, it became easier. Graphics are cool, audio's very good, just as it needs to be, and idea is innovative, good job ;)
@sun-parlor-studios, yep, for some reason orange not finally shown as in the preview material. Thanks!
This was great! I loved the music. not much else to say. The stick figure guy was a little out of place compared to the rest of the art / people though.
pretty good, the stick man looks out of place though , and i found that the 2 yellow colours were too difficult to tell apart and i made a lot of mistakes with that. and i'm not sure why the beam requires 3 to fully charge when you use it once i couldn't use it again until i got another orb... and space junk!!! omg space junk taking all the charge! mean :P
@brendan-toy thanks for your feedback! ;) really appreciated!
why I couldn't find any bored human .. ok after second running the game i realize i need to hold space to check and everybody was bored. music sound effect was impressive . camera ,world effect was cool. maybe you should change sprites of things on earth. transition of information in beginning made me jealous I didn't have time for it lol , good luck to you!
Nice little game, a bit hard to me but the music is cool the graphics are funny even if the fact that the "paper" style makes it difficulty to really know where the bored humans are located
Cool graphics and sound design, thats fur sure. First I kinda failed to understand how stuff works. But even when i figured everything out it's still pretty hard game. it's also kinda hard to tell where exactly space trash and power pickups are located relative to your ship, which leads to some frustrating moments.
Thank all you guys for your comments :)
Haha, this was a fun game to play. It took me a few minutes to understand the game loop. I think I came very close to saving some people but it looks like they got fried in the beam. Groovy!
@swav-gav thanks for playing ! I love your game! :)
I played it, and just figured it out as I died and had to move on to the next game. I really like the flow of the movement and the mood of this game, although the gameplay is a bit trickier. Still, well done! https://youtu.be/U15_YlyCNqY?t=9m8s
I suck at this game, but I love it! The camera movement, the controls, everything is so fresh and enjoyable! The only thing I found frustrating is the "randomness" of the debris & people spawning. Sometimes I start just between some parts of space junk and I'm unable to escape from them. And sometimes there's inaccesible humans because of that, too.
Besides that, it's a really good game, congratulations!
Congratulations on first submission! I really did enjoyed it
What I loved * Cool artwork & sound design
My Thoughts * Took me a few minutes to realise what I had to do & what I was doing * The stick man looks a bit out of place * Orange & yellow was a bit hard to identify with my Flux open  * there’s inaccessible humans
Overal great game! I’d love for you to review my submission as well. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/keyboard-warrior
Nice entry! Liked the concept and the visuals. It was a bit hard to understand the position of the alien and the other objects (humans/ space garbage), I think adding a small shadow below flying objects would make everything easier to follow. Anyway, congrats on managing to finish the game and polishing it. Keep up the good work! :-)
Thank you @ludipe. Using a shadow is a good idea :)
Game was a bit too hard, but visuals and concept had personnality.
Congrats on your first entry!
Finally saved my first human! It's hard, but fun. I really like the art style. Lovely game!
Well, what can I say, cutout 2D art in 3D space is something I really like (you can tell from my past games). Really enjoyed your game!
Neat submission and interesting idea! I wish that everything was either 2D or 3D and not a mix, as the wonderful alien made the 2D graphics look very simple in comparison. But overall, nice work
Ok so at first I thought that I will not get any point what so ever :) After few attempts I got better and better and after all I saved quite a lot :) I would never ever imagine, that remembering 3 colors will be so difficult for me :-D Good job
Game is looking great, but I found it hard to see where the player really is in the world. Maybe a shadow could help to solve that. And it was hard to figure out what I have to do. But anyways a great idea and game. :)
