The game idea is cool!
However, a bug happened when I almost finish the game. 1.png
I think maybe you should just get position of one and reflect it to another one🤨
edit: oh I am sorry, that's actually cool to do this but I think if you can alert the player after they are separated into different place😝
Thanks Bro, this is not exactly a bug. Originally, I designed it as one of the difficulties to make the game not that easy to be finished but may be I should have a review on it. Thank you again!
That was fun! I stink at jumping and always overshoot, but I got the idea and enjoyed it. Thanks for the game! I like the cute little red face.
Very fun! I found moving a little bit tough (it would be nice to reducce the inertia, in my opinion), but the game is very creative and interesting! Great job
@jshaffer94247 @Artur Hawkwing Thanks dudes! I'll try to polish the movement control.

I really loved what you did with the theme and the genres you've combined. I think if you make it so you can't hold J the game would be fairer  Not sure if the boost when you jump on platforms is intended, because it feels a bit glitchy. On the other hand it gives it much more of a booster / arcady feel.
Great concept, you're right, the graphics doesn't define the game. I feel however like not only the control scheme but also the game design is unnecessarily punishing, since it's so easy to fall and lose almost all your progress and just give up. But if that's what you're going for, I'll give it to you. Kinda like Getting Over It, but without the payback of the commentary.

Nice! So many people took the easy way out by combinign two genres that fit together easily, but you didn't and you made it work! The physics are a bit fiddely, but the platformer part isn't all that challanging so it's not to bad.

Very cool concept! I was roaming around for ages before I spotted the flower with the leaf missing, but I eventually beat it :)

This is what defines (or should define) Ludum Dare games imho! Very simple game, well scoped, super easy to grasp concept, contains some bugs and follows theme greatly!
Good job on execution and it's very creative idea following theme!
Few bugs - things to add: - no music :( - no menu - if you build it for PC there is no way to exit game from full screen other than ALT+F4 - jumping is bugy - you can hold down up arrow and it jumps from platform to platform instantly - collisions - sometimes you can hang from side of platform - it should be obvious for player - you are ON the platform or OFF the platform - not in between :)
- player separation - MAIN BUG TO FIX (for me) like few ppl said before you have moments where right screen is not sync with left screen. If you wanted this as feature - this is not good idea - main goal in this game is to FIND DIFFERENCES - when you separate left from right screen - you make this game for player impossible to win - it's punishin player for no reason (they did nothing wrong in the game) - This is really bad.
I know what you did there - you made 2 players and you are steering them both with one input - this is bad because there are rounding errors in physic calculations or matrix transformations (if you would not use physic but kinematic rigidbody instead) What you should do is: - option 1: have one player, 2 cameras, rendering additional differences only on one camera, not the other - with layers in unity - option 2: have 2 players, steering only one of them, 2nd is only rendered where first is (clonePlayer.transform.position = mainPlayer.transform.position)
There are other options as well but i think this is more than enough for your purposes :)
I get a little bit technical above and maybe a little bit negative - but i think your game is one of greates ideas (very creative) in this LD!

Solid entry for your 1st LD game. Idea is great and executed well. With no background music, the bouncy sound when you jump is a bit harsh on the ears I feel. There aren't any other bugs that anyone else hasn't mentioned before.

Good concept and good theme use, good work! :D
