I love the story you have. The script is really awesome and the pixel art rocks. I am a fan of hectic gameplay and multitasking challenges. your game brought a great mix of cooking sim (cooking mama / overcooked) and retro arcade action via the catching mechanic. Well done!
If you decide to continue dev I would try to get the UI all pixel fonts so it's consistent, I think the ramping is a little challenging and I also don't like that if the dude wants fries and the next guy wants fries and a burger I cannot queue/make both and deliver. there seems to be and inventory challenge that would make the experience even more enjoyable.
Thanks so much for submitting and being on the stream for twitch. I really appreciate your game and that you came to hang!
Thank you so much Tiger, yeah I agree with everything you said! It was just a matter of what we had time to implement!

Great little mini-game!
What I loved * The story & script you had going on * A lot of stuff going on and I love it! * Very challenging, but very rewarding gameplay. * I love the combination of genres
My Thoughts * The UI felt a little weird compared to the game itself
I’d love for you to review my submission as well, since I read that you really like top down shooters

Yess thank you for the recommendation croewens!
I Like the idea and think you've got a great framework for a game here!
If I could just add one suggestion it would be to have some kind of trash can to ditch unwanted orders. There was a time where I just missed delivering an order and the next customer had already arrived with a different one. It would've been handy to be able to ditch the order I was holding.
Other than that though, I thought it was fast-paced and enjoyable, with nice graphics and good music. Good entry!
Thank you (@articulated9! I'm glad you liked the game. I thought about adding a trashcan but people don't mind free food. If you give the guy who just ordered a burger a free slice of cake he won't mind and still tip you appropriately!
Great art, great music, every runs very smooth and the game play is a lot of fun. This is a great game which I would look forward in seeing further additions to the game. I would like to play it as a casual game here and there! Good job!!

The concept for the game is pretty good. I was hung up on some UI issues, where I had some fries, from a previous order, and I could no longer give the right orders after that point. Up to that point though, it was fun. It took a while to figure out the mouse controls, and where to click. I wasn't quite sure how best to handle the stations that had a full yellow bar, before I guess it degrades with the red bar, a la overcooked. If you can clean up that user experience, by fixing bugs, and allowing the user to discard certain items, or otherwise rearrange orders, I think this game can be very solid.
@a-a are you sure the game bugged out? People won't leave until their patience runs out or you give them the food they asked for, but adding extra items to their meal is fine. If you give the guy who just ordered a burger a free side of fries he won’t mind and still tip you appropriately! Please tell me if the game made it impossible for you to continue even after you collected his order+fries

Wow what a neat one! I love the immersion that was brought even to the itch page, great job with the little things like the newspaper to help set up the game. The sound was fun and had me going, the art was great and the game play worked as a silly combo, thanks for the fun!

@Jonathan-Daar Wow great customer service! I didn't get to a point where I tried giving extra food to the customer. The time would typically run out, as a beginner to the game. I can give it a try again. I just think there needs to be more work communicating with the UI to the player, what is happening at what station, and whether or not I picked up an item. It isn't immediately, visually, indicative of what state the player is in. It could just be me, but I had a hard time reading the important UI elements that required my attention.
To be clear, there was nothing technically broken about the game. I just think there has to be more clear communication to the player of what's going on.
@tiberiusuciu thank you for the support! We are planning to port this to mobile in the future and if it's successful expanding it to a full game.
@zyuxis I'm so glad you appreciate the sound and set up with the newspaper. Those are the kinds of things people usually don't mention in comments and I put a lot of thought into them, so thank you!!
haha @a-a, yeah I totally agree the UI needs to be improved. That's at the top of our todo list for after the jam. I'm glad that the game did not bug out for you, I'm fully dedicated to fixing any bugs immediately.

This game is excellent, your controls are absolutely spot on, everything is super responsive and the mood is fantastic, seeing those zombies hanging off the back's of cars while i frantically served customers was great and the way you handled the tutorial is genius, that's definitely an idea I'm going to steal for down the line ;) You've done a really excellent job here. The idea is unique and the execution is spot on, well done.

Hi, are you planning to make a post compo version?
@shaw ohh thank you so much!!! :)
@vilix64 yeah! I think it would be perfect for a mobile release, and if lots of people play it we can expand it to a full game.

This is excellent! Great combination of ideas, perfect execution. The pixel art's on-point, as are the music and the sound effects. This would do really well as a mobile game, if you feel like taking it that direction. Nice work!

Fun and challenging game! I liked the way you combined game elements. Is really challenging to keep track of the steps to deliver an order but with time you get to know where to place your mouse while recieving the package. Maybe there's a better way to excecute the orders and cooking than selecting with the mouse. Thanks for creating this game!

Very fun game! It's cool to switch between catching the falling ingredients and cooking. Took me a bit in the beginning to figure out where to click, could be more intuitive on that end. Good job overall.
Very fun game, I found perfect the way you mixed the themes!
Congratulations on the idea!

Okay I'm not objective because I love fast-food cooking simulators... But I really loved it! Not especially difficult but can it be spicier during thte end game. Nice pixel art graphics! It looks quite finished overall :) Good entry :)
Good job! In this kind of game, things usually get out of control quickly, but I liked the way you balanced it. :)
Cook Serve Delicious on crack. This game is awesome in that you can try to single-thread everything, but once you get comfortable you have the potential for some crazy multitasking. I've never seen a multitasking game with this high of a skill ceiling. The game is very fun and really wracks your brain if you want to go ham.
This game is absolutely awesome, really genuinely a good fun polished game, let alone a Jam game! So good, the fell, the art, the gameplay, audio all 10/10
A pity there's no Linux version, now I can't play. :(
