Build The Road Jack by badpaul34 2018-05-01T02:07:51Z

Nicely done guys!

 What I loved

- Felt like a very new idea with a lot of potential to be explored - fun to play and aesthetically pleasing -loved the thoughtfulness to add gamepad controls. Played it with mine and it felt great

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

- I accidentally built through a wall on one playthrough which kept me from advancing, would be nice to have the game keep you from doing that, or add an undo button - more obstacles to derail your car would be fun

Learn with Babafounini by Nicso 2018-05-04T23:22:21Z

I'm sorry I couldn't figure out how to proceed after the first backpack. baba thanked me but he had vanished and the message of him thanking me would not go away. I tried walking around the world for a bit and pressing all the buttons on my keyboard.

Murder in the Refuge of Retired Monsters by gogo199432 2018-04-27T05:52:09Z

This is the most ambitious project I've played so far. I'm really impressed good job guys! About the murderer. I really didn't see it coming. :)

BatterHook by Barbaarian 2018-04-30T23:14:11Z

nicely done! The fish were very cute and I really like the mashup of a fishing hook taped to a baseball.

Lobotomy and You by rodobodolfo 2018-05-04T23:00:36Z

It would be really nice to have a help command that lists all the available commands for an object Great voice acting humor and mood. Sadly the game has had some bugs. When I first played kicking the door did not knock it down, but I restarted the game and it worked. When I tried to straighten the panting it didn't seem to have an affect.

RTHM by fashionbatman 2018-05-02T00:35:40Z

 What I loved

- cute charming aesthetic and music - great idea that has lot of potential, you should keep developing it!

:thought_balloon: feedback

- I was stuck on a conversation with someone for 5 minutes and it didn't seem to be going anywhere. Maybe I'm just the right amount of bad at rhythm games to not fail or succeed.

Rythm is Lava by egordorichev 2018-04-27T04:58:02Z

Yay I love picto-8 games! Good job guys. I felt like this game had a really good MOOD to it, played perfectly to the theme of the jam and was fun! I really didn't like how you could accidentally get sent back a level by walking backwards. That made me really frustrated.

Gem Labyrinth by Reylisten 2018-05-01T01:58:42Z

I got to the end and I had fun doing so! I hope you guys keep working on it. we need more funky rouge games like Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Platform Breaker by Zyuxis 2018-04-27T04:26:48Z

I beat it! I thought this was one matchup that would not work together, but you guys made a bunch of fun levels and made it work!

Felocity by Adam Wallberg 2018-04-27T05:04:40Z

I love cats so of course this game made me happy :)

BASEBALL in HELL by ragtagradical 2018-04-26T21:11:57Z

This game is so dark and moody. Great job! I wish the bases were larger, I had a really hard time not overshooting them.

BASEBALL in HELL by ragtagradical 2018-04-27T05:58:10Z

Oh thank you I was trying to let go of shift before hitting the base so I wouldn't slip past it.

A Tale of Two Towers by Articulated9 2018-04-27T03:52:43Z

Very unique and a nice change of pace from other games in the jam. I overloaded on peasants and gold and crushed my enemies.

Dragoon Drop by jhandsy 2018-04-30T23:29:59Z

This was brilliant!!! All well made, and a concept that has huge potential as a mobile game. Following you on itch and looking forward to seeing you continued work on this game.

Roll Playing Game by Smiling Cat Entertainment 2018-05-04T23:18:21Z

Hey I played this game for a while and I really enjoyed it! Good job! The powers are fun and I wish you would able to use them more often.

Burger Flipper by GroverTheGrovekeeper 2018-04-27T04:08:47Z

I got up to two darth taters! Amazing that you did all this with visual basic!

BattleDoggos by muush 2018-05-02T00:40:19Z

please @ mention me when you fix your game so I can rate it! I want to battle doggos

Seagulls by shaw 2018-04-27T02:24:52Z

When I saw the title effect I knew I was up for something special WOW this game was good! I really loved it. I'll play this again after the jam. I'm looking forward to seeing how you update it. I would like in the update for the perspective to be pulled back further so I can see my surroundings better.

Grid Gunner by SuperTibbles 2018-04-27T04:50:30Z

my highscore-63220 Good job guys! The art and gameplay were solid. I wish I was making games this cool when I was 13.

SoccerTurn by Tiberiusuciu 2018-04-27T16:40:00Z

I live alone but I still played this game against myself! :)

 What I loved

- well polished and smooth gameplay and graphics - Seems like it would be a fun game with two people

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

- The camera bouncing around all over the place made me a little nauseous - The game would play faster and be more fun if there were less players on the field to cycle though or better, on alternating turns players can control any one member of their team

Type Hero Adventures by Adriano Verissimo 2018-05-02T20:08:20Z

Hey just rated your game, thanks for commenting on mine :) Keep playing other people's games and leaving helpful feedback and you'll get plenty of ratings. I'm a little biased because I love text graphics I gave this a 5/5 in graphics. haha. I found typing the words in time to be challenging but fair as a fast typist, but it would be nice to have an easy mode to make the game more inclusive.- Accept R for right, J for jump ect.

Tsun Tsun Button Mash by Team Infernus 2018-04-30T03:35:47Z

Worked great in chrome for me. I played until the end and got called a bitch for doing so. great work guys!

Haiti Kitty by Beebo Studios 2018-05-09T02:05:44Z

 What I loved

- The graphics and sound effects were charming - the fishing mini game gave me nostalgia for link's awakening

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

-Batting the fish is really confusing! I recommend making it simpler and more intuitive.

Haiti Kitty by Beebo Studios 2018-05-10T17:56:04Z

@Beebo Studios you totally can fix it! https://daar.itch.io/bird-view-burger-barn Look at my game for an example. I have two download links: one GameJamVersion which is what we were able to do within the time limit and a latest windows release which adds a nice little tutorial and new graphics. You can also put a graphic tutorial image on your page. That's not updating the game, it's just some extra instructions, right?

Gina's World by leandromenzen 2018-05-08T00:48:45Z

@leandromenzen if you play, rate and provide kind comments on peoples games more people will see your page and rate yours! The algorithms ensure everyone gets about as many reviews as they give. So if you want more people to play your game, play theirs! you can try out the ones of the kind people who commented on your game by clicking on their profile and then the games tab. I would also recommend clicking explore on the lumdare website and have it list games that have the least amount of ratings so you can help each other out :)

 What I loved

- The aesthetics, seriously weird and hilarious world you made

:thought_balloon: Feedback

- the camera angle makes it hard to control gina and see the world you made.

ASM Hell by vilix64 2018-04-28T14:53:14Z

Wow the concept for this one is so brilliant, I loved the asthetic and concept!! GREAT JOB!

Magic and Machines by tigerj 2018-04-26T00:47:47Z

I loved this game. Top Down shooters are one of my favorite genres and I really enjoyed this one. The spell mechanics are cool and Its great when final boss breaks into parts when you shoot him! :)

Cruise & Co. by Blinkenlights 2018-05-02T00:45:15Z

 What I loved

- love voice acting in the game wish more games did this - the conversations were great - car turning felt good

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

- try cleaning up your audio recording with audacity it's easy and makes the game sound much more professional, also have all the sound files be faded in and out at the ends to remove that popping noise from files. - I found some times where it looked like 3 cars in a row and it was impossible to get out of the way

Match n Shoot by a_a 2018-04-27T16:27:07Z

My score- 12975 I'm going to steal @croewens review format because I love it so much.

 What I loved

- Perfect Atmosphere and sound. Felt like I was actually at a shooting gallery - good point values for targets

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

- for a while at the end there was only one bullet tile and I kept only getting health pickups so I was stuck refilling health - I felt like the game went on for too long, I would like to see a hard timer added to the game

KEYBOARD WARRIOR by croewens 2018-04-26T15:16:02Z

I thought I'd miss the music and sound but ended up really enjoying the graphical sound effects! It was like playing a comic book! The feeling for everything was great, I liked the slow clunky movement of the main character and the switching to typing buttons would work great for a horror game where you feel like you are fumbling before every shot. It also would have been fun to see what letters were coming up ahead so I could let out a combo of firepower. My top score was 191. Good job without a framework really amazing!

On The Fly by qkjosh 2018-05-09T02:32:34Z

This was such a pretty little experience you made :) Best atmosphere of the jam! I hope you add an ending.

Gun Appetit! by Nyunesu 2018-04-28T14:45:59Z

Wow what a coincidence, our game's initial concept was also cooking and zombies!

 What I loved

- The graphics and music are top notch and very professional - Gunshots felt great - Really good concept, zombies and cooking.

:thought_balloon: My Thoughts

- would have been nice to have a tutorial page to tell me to cook to recharge bullets - I found it impossible to put together food without being touched by the zombies, I think the food combinations were too complex for someone new to the game, start off with 2 ingredient combos and then bring it up in complexity in further rounds. - other ideas- slow down time when you open the cooking menu, or let you keep running and dodging while cooking

#### Please play our zombie cooking game here - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/bird-view-burger-barn

Birbo the Game! by yeoldecoot 2018-04-27T05:42:01Z

Final score 127- Killed by the cannon wall! I had fun! I think you guys should keep developing this game as the combination as a lot of potential :)

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-26T00:49:51Z

Thank you so much Tiger, yeah I agree with everything you said! It was just a matter of what we had time to implement!

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-26T15:20:30Z

Yess thank you for the recommendation croewens!

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-27T00:08:50Z

Thank you (@articulated9! I'm glad you liked the game. I thought about adding a trashcan but people don't mind free food. If you give the guy who just ordered a burger a free slice of cake he won't mind and still tip you appropriately!

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-27T06:04:46Z

@a-a are you sure the game bugged out? People won't leave until their patience runs out or you give them the food they asked for, but adding extra items to their meal is fine. If you give the guy who just ordered a burger a free side of fries he won’t mind and still tip you appropriately! Please tell me if the game made it impossible for you to continue even after you collected his order+fries

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-27T16:01:41Z

@tiberiusuciu thank you for the support! We are planning to port this to mobile in the future and if it's successful expanding it to a full game.

@zyuxis I'm so glad you appreciate the sound and set up with the newspaper. Those are the kinds of things people usually don't mention in comments and I put a lot of thought into them, so thank you!!

haha @a-a, yeah I totally agree the UI needs to be improved. That's at the top of our todo list for after the jam. I'm glad that the game did not bug out for you, I'm fully dedicated to fixing any bugs immediately.

Bird-View Burger Barn by IceColdSword 2018-04-28T14:28:32Z

@shaw ohh thank you so much!!! :)

@vilix64 yeah! I think it would be perfect for a mobile release, and if lots of people play it we can expand it to a full game.

SCARE-CADE by lum 2018-04-27T04:02:40Z

The attacking mechanic was cool and I enjoyed exploring the world but I wasn't sure what was going on. I hit a bunch of guys then I found someone with 8 hit points standing over a key who chased me and couldn't be hurt. I died trying to escape him after I got sandwiched between him and another enemy.

00Boyfriend - A Spy's Dating Sim by SamStallion 2018-04-28T03:41:41Z

Wow! This is the most polished and well developed game I've played in the jam. Great job! The action felt very good, my favorite gun was the rocket launcher! It had so much weight to every fire you made. I loved everything up to the cute ending with the credit song, what a great way to wrap the game up. My favorite question was the one about the queen in alice and wonderland, trying to remember what she was shaped like messed me up so bad mentally.

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-04-27T05:35:28Z

Blown away by the art, game looks super profesional. The pacing was a bit weird though. I'd recommend- speeding up the running speed, giving the player double of the same icons before two different ones so they don't mistakenly think like I did that you are supposed to hold both buttons down. And I'd have the difficulty ramp up much faster. Good job again in completing something that looks so good within the deadline!
