ShardReign - A love Story by Flatgub 2018-04-24T23:08:19Z
FANTASTIC! I had a lot of fun and love this kind of graphics style. Each contained biome put me in the mood of that area, and the writing was pretty funny. Thanks for the fun =]

You have gotta be kidding me, I always play the games blind if I can and that was awesome. In those first seconds I was like, alright, its a fishing game. Then the first enemy appeared and blasted me, I laughed. Nice graphics, and a fun balance between fishing and dodging/fighting.
Oh my, I was leaping with joy on this one. I play blind every time so that the surprise of each game and teaching is relevant, and I freakin' loved it. I felt some sort of gamer attachment to each unit, and enjoyed each game within the game. Great job!
I found this to be excessively impressive. Top notch jam pixel art and interesting mashup of ideas. The tower defense/farm idea was heightened by the take on horror.
Astonishingly good sound and graphics, I died a few times learning the puzzle parts but it was fun! Nice theme combo as well.
@egawag wow, thank you for such a high opinion, I am glad you liked the idea as much as I did! @brendan-toy I appreciate the comment, I accidently left audio closed so I missed some rating, I am glad you liked the loop. As with any jam I wish I had some more time for levels, but especially this go around.
@corc0 It's true! There is quiet a lot of ways to cheese through half the levels, and the bottom collision bug was unfortunate. I am glad you still played through it all, I appreciate it!
@rainysolar Thank you for playing glad you enjoyed the levels! I definitely ran out of time on levels way faster than I would have liked, after getting home from work on the last day I had only an hour and a half to do them. I may just have to make more and release a post jam/bugfix version for fun ^_^. @fidrik Thank you for playing as well! I loved your jam game. I am a believer in the 'learn as you play' side of introducing things, and want to utilize that whenever I can!
@ccglp @BlakeMcDeezy Thank you both for trying the game out, I will check out yours! It's true, failing with the ball can even be exploited for an easier time on a few levels. I enjoyed the jam quite a bit for what I could do and appreciate the plays!
@Ethereal-Psyche-Games @spenn @Juzley Thank you all for playing! I'll check each of your games soon, I appreciate the response.
@Jonathan-Daar Thank you for playing every level, even though it was just 7 levels that means a lot to me! I enjoyed making it while I could and appreciate the comment.
@Annie-Owl I think you are right, the punishment for losing the ball on the programming end is that it destroys 1 to 3 of the closest platforms to the player. I thought this sounded great before I got into levels on the last day, but realized in some cases it could be exploited. Some levels however, it outright ruins you, overall I wouldn't mind making a longer and harder game at some point, thank you for the feedback. :]
I found it very, very hard to keep a straight line on the pegs when you wanted to, but I enjoyed the idea! The camera felt great, I liked the zoomout/focus in depending on standing still or not. Thank you for the fun
I enjoyed this, well done! I agree with many others that the platforming and boomerang felt good. The art was fantastic. I would have loved to personally had seen some gameplay tie ins with the theme instead of just artistic, but I had fun nonetheless.
Hey I enjoyed it a lot! I thought the game had a slick style. Using the shadows to determine heights/distances was interesting, although a few moments still made for strange perspective!
I love it, such a fun twist. The drawn characters were not bad at all, good job. The music set the mood for me properly, and I laughed at first when realizing what was happening, thanks. =]
Reminds me of the Pokemon boulder puzzles, but instead of battling upon getting caught you lose. I enjoyed it for a little while, nice one :]
Tutorial at the start was a great way to go for a concept like this, I liked the clear indication of blue and red for player and enemy turn. The bullet time feel of lining the shots and watching them go was fun!
I like this mix a lot! Performing the DDR style music game in between waves was a smart idea, it takes away some of the boring factor of watching tower defense after waves and waves of enemies have already been demolished without taking away the gameplay aspect of placing your towers in good positions. Thanks for the fun here :]
Very beautiful 2d graphics. I felt this idea was unique, I have played a handful of infinite runners now but none with this approach. I kept getting the sweet roll NPC really early and would just lose health for not having anything yet, but that's just life I guess. Thanks for the fun.
What a neat idea! I agree that score would have been great in this kind of game to compare one run to another. The mix of infinite running and text commands was unexpected, and I thought a little bit of the old zombie typing games. Thanks for the fun.
Awesome musical combination! The levels felt solid in this, and the dialogue at the start had me laughing. Good job on the design and idea and great job on the humor and music :]
Wow! Fanfriggintastic. This game was so much fun, and delivered for me in a way that a lot of other good theme choices didn't yet. Nice meaty sounds, cool music choice, great visuals with fair shot projections and great theme idea to execution. Thanks for the fun.
Hi there, I love rogue likes! I went ahead and just fought everything I could and made it through 7 floors. Others already pointed out grammar so I won't mention it! Since it was rogue, it could have used some negatives in chests/floor pieces besides enemies to help with decision making. Thank you for the fun.
I enjoyed the concept, thanks for the fun.
Wow what a neat one! I love the immersion that was brought even to the itch page, great job with the little things like the newspaper to help set up the game. The sound was fun and had me going, the art was great and the game play worked as a silly combo, thanks for the fun!
How atmospheric! You really set the mood visually and in sound design, you also combined two genres I enjoy. Thanks for the fun.
Nice idea, mini golf and horror. The first level I could feel the suspense of the monster chasing right behind my eye. By the time I got to the fourth level I crashed from some sort of error, but I had some fun, thanks for the submission.
