Not much gameplay, but the story was really funny. Well done.

Thanks @jk5000 glad you liked it!
This was weird but in a good way, enjoyed it a lot!
Thank you @bredera!
@bredera That's what we aimed for!
I came for a full moon and I was not dissapointed.
Nice timing of the scene transitions!
I laughed out loud, both figuratively and literally! Thanks for that :) Great work y'all
Thanks so much @cafelovai, I spent a lot of time trying to get those transitions just right!
@seth-marx I'm really happy that you enjoyed the game! We were all cracking ourselves up when coming up with the story. Appreciate the kind words :)
Nice little park, but I was not quite sure what to do. I just got mobbed by some people in a park!
Hey @nikolaj, you just have to fight them for a bit and then the story progresses! If we had more time I would have loved to put some QoL tooltips to make things more understandable. Thank you for playing :)
i liked the juxtaposition of disparate elements (like holding an ice cream cone on the moon) and the punchline is pretty good. i think you could speed up the walking though, especially for the path to the spaceship.
Wtf did I just play  Awesome work on the transistions. Only confusing part was the path up to the spaceship, invisible colliders kinda broke the flow
Hol' up...That alien alligator thing looks familiar...
*Looks up previous LD game*
Oh snap, dat cinematic universe! :open_mouth:
This game was genuinely hilarious. It made me laugh out loud multiple times, particularly when I discovered the meaning behind the name of the game. Absolute perfection.
During the fist fight I fell out of the level and just kept falling. You got me on the full moon name though, very clever.
Ayyyyy @coleslaughter! Glad to see you again! Thanks for playing the game- so happy that you enjoyed it :)
@jakemchugh1 Yeah I wish I had thought to put an invisible floor there because it sounds like that's an issue multiple people had- but I'm glad that despite the error you had a good time!
@joseph-yannessa Thank you for the feedback! That "WTF" vibe was *exactly* what we were going for :D
Very interesting!
Holy shit lol that was hilarious. I really liked the idea, the world building was actually pretty interesting (reminded me of Starship Troopers) and coupled with the transitions as the story jumped all over the place it was amazing. The path you're allowed to walk during the rocket ship sequence isn't really clear, and I kept getting stuck, but the ending makes it all worth it haha. Nice work, and the voice acting is top notch!
The transitions in this game were surprising and a lot of fun. Great work :)
Definetly unexpected but very cool idea, nice work
Wow great ending and overall story!
God, that ending took me by suprise  . It's not my kind of humour, but I liked the story  . Well done!
 I don't know how to feel about this
Not really a game but fun with regressive humour.
Appreciate the kind words, folks! We poured our beings in to this experience!
im a sucker for walking simulators and i thought this was fantastic. the mood/script/etc. great job guys!
@hkspadez thanks!
whaha :) not really a game maybe but omg this was funny i laughed so hard! The voiceacting is great!!
I so Love the story and game especially the voice! Even though I'm not native English speaker and may misunderstood some plot, the ending is perfect!
PS: Did you use Unity Cinemachine to make this game?
omg what a great story! This goes straight into my favourites. Not much interaction but it was fun. I really loved the sceneries and voice acting. The idea is original and well developed. Great entry!
I think this is more a movie than a game, only thing I felt like I HAD to do was to walk on the last screen, and even there it would put so many barriers that I didn't really connect with the story.
The ideas behind the game are ok, but I don't feel like they were executed properly. Maybe the scope of this was too big for a LD game.
@magus77 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, we had a great time writing and recording the voicelines.
@wxzuir I appreciate the kind words. I really wanted to utilize cinemachine for this project, but I didn't feel like I knew enough about it to do what we wanted to in such a short amount of time. That being said as soon as LD wrapped I started diving into CM tutorials! Knowing back then what I already do now would have saved us precious hours! :)
@tommyflower Thank you! Everyone involved was very happy with how this turned out. Ryan, Tony, and Divic did a wonderful job writing the script, and the moment Tony pitched the ending we decided that this had to be the game we worked on for Ludum Dare 45.
@sprotex I really appreciate the honest feedback! The game was definitely our most ambitious project and you were correct to intuit that! Every Ludum Dare we try to push ourselves to our limit, and with this game there were definitely a number of things I would have liked to include that would have addressed some of your concerns. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy our entry, but thank you for playing it and giving your sincere thoughts- it means a lot to all of us, and will help everyone improve for next time :)
I loved the quick scene transitions and overall concept. And it was funny too. The final moon level was a little frustrating because of all the invisible walls, but other than that really fun and unique!
Not a game in the right sense, but I like your take on this theme a lot! Movement was confusing (am I hitting these people or not? Why cannot I climb this small slope on my way to the starship?) but I really liked the scenery on the Moon and how you used lights throughout the game. IT really eeds more game elements tho!
That's a nice story. It doesn't seem like a game tho. I do like how you interpreted the theme. But there are a lot of bugs which can be quite annoying. Other than that, it is fun and I liked the voice acting!
good Job  had a lot of fun
Oh god you guys, made me laugh pretty hard haha. Great job! This game is quite something! :D
Impressive entry in many ways... not entirely sold on the "genre??" ... but seems like a good execution :thumbsup_tone1:
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Hey guys just out of interest I checked your repo, but I don't see any scenes that are in final game? Just a sample scene with 2 dummies sitting under a prototype tree.
Yeah sorry @siarhei-pilat I'm having some trouble getting the repo updated- my auth token keeps timing out on the version control software. I'll ping you if I can find another way to update things!
Please do @slimabob I am really interested in studying what you did, esp because you used SO architecture or so it seems
Hilarious game, tight intuitive controls and cute art. Awesome job! Best of luck to all of you!
What... on... _Earth_... did I just play? :stuck_out_tongue:
On my first attempted playthrough, when the game attempted to swap out the winter terrain for the summer terrain, it failed to land me appropriately afterwards and I fell through the world. Which, I at first even considered might have been intention, but I decided that was unlikely and restarted.
+1 for the Yiddish, -0.5 for the geriatric butt.
Thanks folks!
I was really hoping the ice cream would've shot laser beams too XD never thought I'd ever say that in my life lol really funny entry you have here!
Well, that's not the full moon I expected :)
Really funny story. I wish it were longer. I didn't really like the invisible walls when walking towards the spaceship, and the movement was quite jittery and laggy for some reason.
Voice acting was awesome though and the humor was definitely there. Great job.
