erendelous 2018-12-02 18:43

Quite cool game, and It's really replayable:) Also, the sacrificing is pretty cool )

ecgamez 2018-12-03 02:04

Very fun game, just sat down for a while playing it!

isvan 2018-12-03 02:13

Pretty fun, only comment is the "kill" sound is pretty harsh and actually made me jump when I heard it ;0

tomcat94 2018-12-03 02:26

@relixes @erendelous @ecgamez Thank you very much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@isvan Thank you for playing as well! I sincerely apologize for the audio, it seemed fine but I seem to have forgotten my volume was adjusted differently on my machine before release. I'll put a warning down to advise future players to adjust their volume.

abeyance 2018-12-03 02:36

Satisfying to kill things, I can appreciate the upgrading.

snecko 2018-12-03 02:42

Nice and fun, having a smaller sound for when the enemy is hit but does not die might help with the attack feeling. Fun to replay and try to find better methods of attack.

rolly 2018-12-03 03:22

Very nice ! Simple and efficient, well done !

tomcat94 2018-12-03 03:36

@abeyance @rolly Thank you!

@snecko I think you're right, a sound effect for enemies that aren't killed with one hit would be better overall. It's too late now, but once voting ends I'll be sure to add that for a post-jam "complete" version. Thank you!

itsjustjord 2018-12-03 06:48

Great job i really liked it! Especially the art direction! :D

arkinrev 2018-12-03 07:00

I really liked drafting bonuses with a drawback. Fun game!

tomcat94 2018-12-03 07:36

@itsjustjord Thank you! I appreciate it. I'm glad the art direction was appealing as well, it has some inspiration from Downwell.

@arkinrev Thank you very much for playing!

loligxp 2018-12-03 08:29

tomcat94 2018-12-03 08:36

sarwin 2018-12-03 10:20

I really enjoyed the game!!

behzad-robot 2018-12-03 10:50

:) gj! enjoyed playing the game.

julian-creutz 2018-12-03 11:18

Fun game! The upgrades are very well thought out and the gameplay feels solid. In my opinion, the movement is a bit too floaty, more precise movement would have made the gameplay even better.

Good job!

tomcat94 2018-12-03 19:48

@sarwin @behzad-robot Thank you for playing!

@julian-creutz Thank you for the kind words! I agree, the movement could stand to be a little snappier. Thanks for the feedback!

mohrro 2018-12-03 20:58

I love the upgrades, graphics and randomness. Really good!

theseusinabottle 2018-12-04 00:09

Pretty fun I really like the feeling of movement in this. Normally I hate slippy controls with lots of inertia but the way you have it and the speed of the enemys makes it feel ohmost like you are sliding into a spear thrust. I also really like the fact that when enemys die they burst into particles. Rock solid game.

tomcat94 2018-12-04 00:55

@mohrro @theseusinabottle Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

mike-mihe 2018-12-04 09:29

I think if you bring the development of the game to the end, then you can get a really good game, good luck!

slashee-the-cow 2018-12-04 12:02

Not the most complex game I've tested thus far, but also one of the more fun. I like having to choose at the end of each round (I'll be honest, I usually went for pride) and the graphics were pretty effective at setting the mood (although it was a bit hard to read the font you used, on the title screen I first clicked "thy eternal burden" and my eyes just sort of glazed over).

andrea 2018-12-04 17:10

Very cool concept very well made! The game it beautiful, polished, challenging and fun... Loved it! Well done!

strega 2018-12-23 22:16

Nice wave based survival game! I really liked the upgrade system. I had a problem on the web build though, it seemed like it wasn't letting me attack and move at the same time?
