not a bad little game, though the characters stick on some parts of the walls and platforms

I'm always impressed when folks manage to fit in time to make cinematics. Great graphics and audio. The platforming mechanics were a bit wonky. I kept getting stuck on the sides of platforms, and the movement felt a bit slippery. Overall nice work!
Nice game, but I think the sprites could be a little more animated. Like the title screen, I had trouble fiding where to click to start the game and the "buttons" that trigger objects doesn't look like buttons, specially because dey don't move when you pass above them. Controls are a little bit clunky too. That said, great game and awesome pixel art!
Also, really dig the intro
Nice idea for the theme, graphics look good and thought seems to have been put into the puzzles. Unfortunately (maybe because I just finished the compo and am in dire need of sleep), I found it a bit frustrating to control. The movement of the characters seemed inconsistent, and the puzzles quite hard. I got stuck for around 5 minutes on the second one (I think), and gave up on the one with 2 buttons to push. I'll probably give it another go tomorrow. Great job!
Really intersting gameplay wise controlling three characters at the same time. I will say the controls where not to my liking it kinda felt like everything was covered on ice. I know from the launcher you used Unity so I am assuming you probably handled player movement using an addforce to a rigidbody2d which I know from experience can make it so every movement has ridiculus amounts of inertia (if I am wrong about this and it was intentional then feel free to tell me to shove it). That being said its fine for having been made in 48 hours and I am more than willing to chock up slippy floors to "Its a cave with moss that is slippy" so really solid game. Also thank you for having the option on the title screen to turn off music. I mean I kept it on because I really enjoyed it, but its always nice for a game to give options like that.
Definitely an interesting puzzle game. Controlling 3 characters is always interesting, but also very difficult because there's three times as many things to keep track of. My only issue with this is the fact the characters really like to stick to walls. It makes everything infinitely harder.
@theseusinabottle Yeah, I couldn't think of any other way to do it without complex collision checking on the tilemap, it certainly wasn't intentional (although it does help with some of the later puzzles). Removing the inertia was on my list of things to do if I had more time. Thanks for the feedback.
Took me a minute to figure out what I was doing, but that was a pretty cool idea.
game looks and sounds good, but controlling is a little difficult, particularly since the player gets stuck on walls and will randomly die when jumping into a ceiling. also, the cursor disappears when you press escape and can't actually use the menu when paused. it is a fairly interesting concept though.
The intro cinematic is great! The sound and colour palette work together really well as well. It can be a bit hard to control and on some occasions, mainly the 2nd puzzle, I found that I was failing and all my guys would respawn without a clear reason why.
The graphics are nice and the concept is cool, but the physics are flawed and it's pretty frustrating at times. But a great entry!
As @julian-creutz said, very nice pixel art, good sound, but the physic stuck me to mush I cant finished a puzzle without frustration on the collision with wall. If you fix the physic let me know, I would like to replay the game
Love the pixel art, music and style you've done. But the game is a bit hard, mainly as I seem to die or get stuck for no reason xD Would have loved to see the rest of the game but the few issues prevented me from doing so :(
I really like the art style. Keep it up!
I like the art, music and concept but I really struggled with the controls and couldn't make it past one of the early puzzles. I kept of getting stuck in on the walls
@nakami I've fixed the two issues (I hope), at expense of some of the platforming, but you can try it again here: https://zanyg.itch.io/totbg-update
@zanyg Yeah it's really better but... more than 5 times I finished the puzzle 2 and just when the tree characters fall to the next it restart at the save point of the 2th. Is it because I take to much time to finish it ? And perhaps if you polish it later make the size of the hole a bit smaller to an easier jump. Because the game is quite difficult.
I'm enjoying this but I'm stuck... The blocks come down from the ceiling and onto the pressure plates but the floor doesn't open up. I could be being super dense here and not understand the puzzle...
Nope... I went back and the floor moved down when no one was on any plate  I'm assuming this is bugged which is unfortunate as I was having a blast.
Let me know if you manage to replicate it, regardless I'll come back and give it another go!
Wonderful game, awesome artwork!! :raised_hands:
I realy loved this game, it's a good idea. If you will complete it, I will download it
Some little bugs, but great! :v:
And, @conk, maybe it's because there's blood over the plates...
Yeah, @conk, the pressure plates aren't triggered by the crushing blocks (I know it's a bit nonsensical), but they are triggered by the player's blood.
Could you set your game to "Windows Download" on your itch page? I would like to play it via Itch client but it shows as "not available on Windows".
Nice work through 48h dude. Sometimes the game was buggy but i m hÃtting a point of proper logic game. Nice music.
