I came across this gem browsing the ludum-dare-41 tag at itch.io. I loved the game so much I was willing to scroll through endless pages of entries on this site so I could leave it the 5 star rating it deserves.

This was really well done. Such a great simple concept that fit the theme wonderfully. I loved the changing notes during movement, great touch.
Excellent! I loved it.
Really enjoyed playing this. Simple concept but it works really well! Also liked the fuzzy screen effects that helped set the mood. Well done!
Very cool! Took a few tries before I could lead my shots but it's super satisfying when you get it right
Nice concept, well executed, nice visuals. A good small thing, I only wish the snake rules were followed a bit more strictly (going back on myself feels overpowered and a bit dull).
@jonathan-whiting you can only do that when you are minimum length (one segment) as the two bits 'swap places' in that turn
Cute! Work's pretty well too
amazing idea :) It's very original and fun.
Really cool idea! Gonna be trying to obtain a respectable score now.
Great game! Was initially surprised by the turn-based nature of it, but it works really well. The different movement sounds are a really nice touch too.
A really minor point, but I did find being able to move into yourself rather annoying, since I accidentally died a couple of times. This happened especially at the early stages of the game when things really haven't ramped up yet and I just wanted to play fast.
Regardless, a fantastic combination and a nice level of polish too. Great stuff!
Great mesh of genres! I had a hard time getting the ore, but I enjoyed the game!
Cool entry! It's a simple idea, but works pretty well!
I did feel like the best strategy after awhile was to just run around in circles and mostly ignore the asteroids/ore though. Even without actively going for them, the collisions between asteroids were often hectic enough that you end up collecting ore anyway. (I could just be bad at playing it properly though, so take that with a grain of salt.)
Really digging the slight screen distortion btw; it's surprisingly effective at giving it that extra retro boost without being too in-your-face and getting in the way of the game.
Awesome concept and executed well! As said earlier, I found it pretty frustrating to keep dying by walking backwards into myself so I couldn't get very far in the game but still an excellent entry!
Good concept!
Would have liked a reload timer =)
I’m not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
Great concept, and had so many wonderful details. The lines of static and the music coming from the input were favourites of mine, but it does bother me a little how harsh pressing backwards is compared to having your tail sawed off. An excellent entry though!
Liked the graphics and sound.
Love it, such a odd mix. Really embodies the theme. The sound effects fit well, and really like the small details. The "shadow" of the last movement makes you able to plan easier and it transform a otherwise rather hectic and reactionary game to a planning game.
I just dont see that rouge mechanic in it but it was pretty fun non the less. Also this monitor view in Pico8 is pretty neat
Clever implementation of the theme. Took me a bit to understand how to play but once I understood it was ON! Challenging to say the least but executed beautifully. I like how it forces you to think about the next couple of steps but gives you time to do so since you control when everything moves. Great work!
Really clever idea! I love the glitch effects in this game and the combination of three games instead of two makes this just as impressive.
The effect in the screen and the overall aesthetics blow my mind. I tried pico-8 before and it was difficult to me, You really killed it! :v:
Really excellent design to fit so many gameplay systems into such a turn based, manageable sized grid. The game is a well polished, fun mashup of classics. Nice work!
Impressive graphic effects!
I like how you made the html export to be bigger than default values. I think I'll do the same :D
Overall the game feels solid, congrats!
Great concept, good match up of gameplays & cool entry, I like the overall ambiance and experience, well done for the graphics & glitch effect that really give a pleasant arcade feeling. When I see such an entry, It pushes me to give another try to pico8 for game jams  Keep up the great work
Nicely mixing asteroids with snake game in turnbased... Stop, but there is more then 2 genres, hmmmm... Anyway good games.
Who knew a turn-based snake game would work so well? Great work!
I don't really have anything to criticize :)
Very neat and very well executed. Good sound and music
Cool to see another pico-8 game in the compo. Nice use of colors and an excellent vhs(?) effect, the gameplay was solid as well. Good work!

Nice mash up of genres. This was a fun li'l game to play :)
This is a fantastic entry. The genres combine very well, and the game play is deep and challenging. I loved the music in the title screen. Graphics and audio are serviceable, solid. I found it was best to avoid getting the ore, stay small, and get points just by moving around, which isn't really how this is meant to be played, so maybe find a way to give the player more incentive to chomp on that ore.
Really love this entry as well as how elegantly these two games act together! Awesome work as usual
Really well polished and fun to play. Great game.
A really unique idea! The gameplay was fun and challenging, well done!
Really nice way how to approach and change classic 'Snake' game. Good job
Simple and fun game. Congratulations!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
