Nice Concept, i dont like this kind of game but was very inventive and probably very addictive for some people.
i liked the sprint a lot and mainly the effects of the things coming out of the wall. the graphics were pretty fine too. combat could be better but it was good pretty overall
would be even better if the music synced, rythm game :P and yeah, you should make it restart on death or something
could have more powerups and music is a bit repetitive, but there alway room for improvement. very good for first ludum dare, the art is pretty good i liked the background the most. I like the fact that the robot runs and jumps more with more power
its simple but its well done overall theres screenshake and good fx which is always good for a simple game
nice arcade, would like to have more feedback when colliding into enemies, or losing health. maybe slower enemies, or diferente pathing/spawn patterns, some seemed unfair where the enemies would swarm you.
could make some of the bigger squares/enemies could be imovable, and or shoot stuff at you
like the game, should introduce recipes along the way i guess, i was kinda lost in the begginning
would like it more if it didnt have depth and was only sidescrolloing
just required a best way for chargin up i think
just required a best way for chargin up i think
takes a lot to load up on the begining pretty good without that part
played something very similar the other day, "Space Frontier" for android. this is much funnier though, those sfx :)
really liked this game although very simple its is simple and well done. i only played about 10 minutes because i dont really like this kind of game but you could improve by adding more simple effects like screenshake and adding some more weight to the wepons. i didnt figure what those orbit where because they didnt seem to suck me in a lot, but the powerups rotated that was nice
very good game
that battery silo or whatever seems useless, maybe i needed another cable or something like that the art is pretty good *edit realized now its a ship, even better :P
Very nice concept, the art was good and clear which is important to know where stuff goes. Couldnt finish the last level(looked like it, the one that said thanks for playing on a banner), if its even possible to beat.
I like the mechanic of running out of screen space. I like the combobreaker style of gameplay. Good art and sound.
Vert simple, very effective. I felt like the aiming is not perfect, if i aim away from the midle the aiming seems like its not in line with the mouse cursor. Art is average, music is good, gameplay is almost great if it werent for the aiming problem
Average game, art is good. There should be a way to deal with big stacks of boxes, you cant get over them or just destroy them somehow.
Since its a simple game i feel like it should have a way of making you feel satisfied, like better effects when you hit the enemies, a dead animation or just push them around with the ball. Art is average, music is good. Mouse isnt captured so if it leaves the screen the game minimizes.
Very simple but good mechanic, i thought the levels where a bit hard for the average gamer, timings too tight. Art is awesome fits the theme perfectly.
That was fun, i like the creative mode, shame you cant stack walls. After defending for a while, i decided to go on the offensive, and launched a Piercing attack ;) Screenshot 2024-04-18 152559.png
I love how you dont need to draw the whole shape, just similar enought xD, i shortcut all the symbols xD
It looked way easier on the cover xD art and sound were very good, the player controls felt great, but the enemies needed a bit more work, they needed to attack in a staggered form so you dont dodge one and get hit by the other 2.
my brain is to slow for this, minions attack way to fast for me to react with spells and just kill the castle. id suggest either using a limited amount of keys for casting that reroll after every minute or so, for example, using on QWERTYUI, and randomising every once in a while to groups of random letters, Or, using human readable words/phrases
I would also like to not use the mouse at all, can you upgrade with the keyboard? if so i couldnt manage to do it, id suggest using the numbers for upgrading, and labeling the number near the upgrade.
Art was pretty nice, even if simplistic.
Sitting through the tutorial voice everytime you start over was a pain, if that wasnt there i would try to play more and figure out if i am just too bad, or the game difficulty too high.
very short, but fun mechanic, and mostly feels great
in my opinion could have input like Magicka, or a moba game, right click on ground to move, leaving your other hand free for combinations, you could have had way more combos that way too.
would love a bigger circle, and more enemies overall, it feels satisfying killing 5 zombies, with one spell
zombies are a bit non threatening, you can just run away to the last boss and run in circles of the zombies xD
All that said, your game feels great, and the game mechanic feels very good. We need some more levels.
the camera makes me a bit sick, try a fixed camera that doesnt move at all
Hitbox on the middle of the road should be bigger,or there should be some transition so Jang isnt imediately ran over after picking the box up. Music gets a bit repetitive after a while
If only you voiced the powerups :D
