The game was ok but jumping is not that smooth.
Really interesting concept! Nice job!
This game was cool , a bit stressfull but i liked it
Cool art style. The controls were a bit unresponsive in Firefox and Chrome browsers on Windows. Seems to work fine in Edge though. The first and third levels were great, the 2nd seemed a little out of place and too short / easy. Overall cool concept.
Nice concept :) The character movement feels a bit slow, but a nice platform design.
Thanks everyone for the awesome feedback, @jaydubbyasee & @lukvasando I think I've fixed the unresponsive jumping.
@fallingflatstudios Yup controls are much more responsive now. Great job!
Simple but works perfect. I think the idea could be expandes, which is a plus. Congrats!
@nax-89 Thanks
Nice, I can tell you put a decent amount of time into tuning because you pretty much end with < 1/2 a second left per level lol. Solid execution and cohesive all around (gameplay, art, sound). I wonder if there's a way to play more with the color mechanic than just as a timer, seems like some unfulfilled potential there.
The movement was kinda slow and the colours were draining rapidly, but I made it! That was the most intense half-minute of my life! The game is a bit basic, but it delivers on its promises, which is great. The first time i finished a level was a bit jarring - I didn't expect my character to EXPLODE VIOLENTLY, but I just went with it. As another user pointed out already, the 2nd level was WAY too easy. You gotta work on your level designing skills, to pump out more levels in a short amount of time. Anyway, it's still a very nice entry for a first-timer. Hoping to see more stuff from you in the future!
@peachtreeoath Thanks, and I really want to expand upon the color mechanic in the future.
@corny I appreciate the very helpful feedback, and the reason level 2 is so easy is because it was a last second edition and I didn't have enough time to finish it.
Really like how the shrinking circle of colour compels you to finish the level as quickly as you can, but also carefully so you have to also avoid spikes at the same time. When I completed the first level, I got pretty spooked and thought that I died! I would suggest making a more rewarding way to display that the player won the level, maybe upon reaching the end, the circle keeps expanding and then ends up colouring the whole level? Everything else aside, nice entry. I hope to see more from you!
its kinda poetic

The color idea is really cool and the graphics are cute. The gameplay could be more challenging, but overall I had fun. I also didn't expect the blob to explode after each level, but I think it was mostly the sound effect that was jarring. The thing at the end looks kinda like a warp zone, so a warping sound might fit better.
The game is very cool! The way you implemented the timer was awesome, it gave the sense of urgency and conveyed the idea very well. The only critics I have is the amount of time to complete the level is very little (but I can understand since the levels are also small) and I agree with @numilumi: the win animation is very spooky, I also thought I died and was very confusing! Besides that, good job to everybody involved!
As others have mentioned, the color presentation is pretty awesome. The game left me wanting more!
I like the use of color as a timer. Could have added more mechanics but I understand TIME was running out...
Well done my friend!:) I liked how we used the mask techn in different ways^^
@numilumi thanks for the feedback, I really like your idea of the end animation, I'm also thinking about making a post jam version so I can make the game a little more polished.
@velvetlobster very poetic, the tale of a slime losing his flower, and also the fact that all the color is being sucked away.
@arithipathic Thanks, I was very short on time so I had to throw something in for the win animation.
@ryuu I think if I make a post jam version I'll make the levels a little longer as well as give you more time with the color and obviously make a proper win animation.
@zillix Thanks, and there might be more.
@coldsanwdich189 I appreciate the feedback, and I definitely want to expand upon and add more mechanics to the game.
@brallex Thanks : )
The color timer is a very cool idea. I think it may have more impact if it started with the whole screen in color and then more rapidly reduced. Its enjoyable to play, though I do think that it moves somewhat slowly for a time-limited game. Overall a solid submission. Would gladly play more levels if there were any :)
@trifectuh thanks, I like your idea of the whole screen being filled with color at the beginning of the game, and if I make the post jam version I'll probably add it, and make the player faster or add a powerup, I'll also make more longer levels.
@fallingflatstudios good to hear you're considering working on it post-jam. definitely has potential to be a really fun game
Nice short game.
Nice little platformer, the jumping [could be improved](https://tinyurl.com/y37wtr6t), but overall I liked it :thumbsup:
lovely little game. I liked the timer mechanic too even though its taking the theme backwards, kinda ;) Sometimes being next to a platform already resets the jump but generally it feels nice.
@vavro-srobar thanks.
@ogelgames thank you, I'll definitely try to improve the jumping in the future.
@baktillus I'll try to fix that if I make the post jam version, and thanks for the feedback : )
Good game, a bit short tho. At first I could not even finish first level, but then I realized - the color is disappearing faster with faster FPS, so i can only play it on 60hz monitor, and 144hz makes me loze. I've seen several games have this issue, all were made with unity.
Not bad! I like the concept of the color in the world around you and the art was simple but effective. It would be nice if the screen scrolled a little earlier though since it was hard to see where I needed to jump in advance. Additionally, making it so you could go to the next level with a keypress and using a different sound for touching the goal would be nice quality of life features. The game overall could use a bit more length (and some background music), but it was fine as is. All in all, a very decent little platformer.
@kuviman Duly noted, if I make the the post jam version I will try to fix that, and I think I know what the problem is.
@guitarbro Thanks, I will definitely fix the camera, make the levels longer, add more mechanics, and add more polish in general, if I make a post jam version.
Nice idea! Completed the game in a few seconds ;)
@bilalch213 Thanks : D
The concept of this game is very cool!
I wish it were longer.
A couple things that could be improved: 1) It's sad to have the explosion/death sound when I successfully finish a level 2) The camera doesn't follow me quite enough when there is more level horizontally. Hard to see where to go.
Overall, I like this game. I really wish it were longer!
@silas-reinagel I've been working on the game for the past couple of weeks now making the levels longer, fixing the camera, making enemies, etc, I'm also trying to make a fitting win animation for the when you reach the goal, also I appreciate the very helpful feedback : )
